Chapter 1
The morning sunlight streamed through the penthouse windows, golden and soft.
Kim Taehyung sat on his sleek leather chair, sipping black coffee. Everything in his life was precise… except today
He said, calm and steady.
His mother stepped inside, holding a folder. That familiar, expectant smile of hers never changed.
Tae's Mom
“Tae, sit down. We need to talk about your future,” she said.
Taehyung
He raised an eyebrow. “Future? Mother, I—”
Tae's Mom
“You know the family’s wishes,” she interrupted. “This isn’t about what you want. It’s about timing… stability… and someone I believe will make you happy.”
Taehyung
Tae exhaled slowly. “Mother, I manage my life just fine.”
Tae's Mom
“Yes, but sometimes even the strongest need guidance.”
She opened the folder. One photograph. One file.
A young man in a white coat, kind eyes, standing in front of a hospital.
Tae's Mom
“Jeon Jungkook,” she said softly. “A doctor. Compassionate. Gentle. Perfect for you.”
Tae's expression stayed neutral.
Taehyung
“A marriage arrangement… at my age?”
Tae's Mom
“Not just any arrangement. One that could change your life,” she replied with a faint smile.
Across the city, Jungkook wiped sweat from his forehead after his last patient.
Hospital hallways echoed with soft chatter. Nurses smiled. Patients waved.
For a moment, he felt… peace.
???
“Kookie… your parents want you to meet someone. For marriage.”
Jungkook
Jungkook froze. “Wait… what?”
Fate — or family — brought them together.
Tae arrived first. Suit perfect. Hair neat. Expression unreadable.
Jungkook walked in slightly late, messy hair, still warm from the hospital, hands shaking a little from exhaustion.
Jungkook said politely, bowing slightly.
Tae replied, eyes scanning him like a puzzle.
The world outside seemed to vanish.
Tae's mother smiled quietly.
Tae's Mom
“I believe you two will… grow to understand each other.”
Two strangers.
Under the same roof.
Bound by a choice neither asked for.
I won't be updating this right now because my exams are starting...
I just wanted to give you a little glimpse of my next story...
After my exams I'll officially start writing this story so wait for me and do tell me in comment how's the Chapter 1
Chapter 2
"without this will be their thoughts"
The wedding hall was quiet in a way Jungkook had never experienced before.
Not empty.
Just… heavy with expectation.
Soft lights hung above, warm and calm, reflecting off white flowers arranged neatly along the aisle. Everything looked perfect—too perfect for something that felt so unreal.
Jungkook stood behind the curtain, dressed in traditional attire, hands clenched together.
His heart was beating fast.
Jungkook
I’m really getting married…
A staff member spoke gently,
Staff members
“You’ll walk in when the music starts.”
On the other side, Taehyung stood still at the altar.
Straight posture. Calm expression.
But his eyes kept drifting toward the entrance.
At least, that’s what he told himself.
Taehyung
This is a contract,
Then why did his chest feel tight?
Jungkook stepped forward.
For a moment, the world seemed to pause.
Messy hair neatly styled.
Eyes gentle but uncertain.
Hands trembling just a little.
Taehyung felt something shift inside him.
Taehyung
So this is the person I’ll share my life with.
Jungkook walked down the aisle slowly.
Every step felt heavier than the last.
When he reached Taehyung’s side, he bowed politely, just as he always did.
His voice was quiet but steady.
Taehyung inclined his head in return.
No smiles.
No promises yet.
The officiant began speaking.
Words about union.
About trust.
About responsibility.
Jungkook listened carefully, fingers twisting the fabric of his sleeve.
Without thinking, he shifted slightly closer.
And somehow, his breathing slowed.
???
“Do you accept this marriage?”
Jungkook swallowed, then nodded.
His voice wavered—but he didn’t take it back.
The rings were brought forward.
Taehyung took Jungkook’s hand.
Jungkook stiffened at first, then slowly relaxed.
Taehyung slid the ring onto his finger carefully, as if afraid of hurting him.
His fingers brushed Taehyung’s skin accidentally.
Then pretended nothing happened.
???
“you are bound as partners.”
The words echoed.
Partners.
Not strangers anymore.
After the ceremony, applause filled the hall.
Flashes from cameras.
Soft murmurs.
Jungkook stood quietly, unsure where to place his hands.
Taehyung leaned slightly toward him.
Jungkook looked up, surprised.
Taehyung hesitated, then added,
Taehyung
“If you’re uncomfortable at any point… tell me.”
When they walked out together, side by side, their shoulders brushed.
Neither moved away.
The evening air felt cool.
For the first time since this arrangement was decided—
Jungkook felt a strange sense of safety.
And Taehyung realized something he hadn’t planned for.
This marriage may be arranged…
But the care doesn’t have to be.
Do tell me how was the chapter...
Chapter 3
The house felt different at night.
Jungkook stood in his room, suitcase still unopened, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling. The events of the day replayed slowly in his mind—the vows, the rings, the cameras, the polite smiles.
Soft knock broke his thoughts.
The door opened just a little.
Taehyung stood there, sleeves rolled up, no tie, looking less like a CEO and more like… a tired man.
Taehyung
“I wanted to check if you needed anything,”
Jungkook
“I’m okay. Thank you.”
Taehyung
“You didn’t eat much at the reception.”
Taehyung nodded, as if that explained everything.
Taehyung
“There’s soup in the kitchen. Light. If you get hungry.”
Jungkook
“…You remembered.”
Silence settled between them again—not uncomfortable, just unfamiliar.
Taehyung
“I’ll be in the room across the hall,”
Taehyung
“If you need anything… knock.”
Jungkook
“Good night, hyung.”
Taehyung
“Good night, Jungkook.”
Jungkook sat on the bed, heart oddly calm.
He changed into comfortable clothes and lay down slowly, pulling the blanket up to his chest. The house no longer felt intimidating.
Across the hall, Taehyung loosened his watch and sat on the edge of his bed.
His gaze drifted toward the door separating them.
Taehyung
He looked exhausted.
Taehyung exhaled quietly.
Taehyung
“This will take time,”
But for the first time, the thought didn’t bother him.
Two rooms.
Two lives.
One marriage.
And in the quiet of the night, both of them slept a little more peacefully than they expected.
