My name is Natalie. I work as a cleaner in a barbershop. I don't have enough money at all. But I want to fulfill my dream and become a famous model.
I have a younger sister. Her name is Marissa. She has a terrible sweet tooth. She can't go a day without sweets. Unfortunately, our parents died. We're very lonely.
My sister and I lived half-starved. At first, a series of unemployment befell me, then my young age did not suit, and, sometimes I came across lustful bosses. As for me, a girl with a strong character, it was disgusting to put up with their faces. Spring is outside the window, a carefree time of the year, it blinds us with its beauty and makes us dream.
A well-known company needed a model. I was saving up money so we could go to the city and audition.

We arrived there late in the evening and hung around near the fence, never getting in. Yes, our stay in a different city had begun with less than rosy moments, and we'd been making big plans.

Natalie
We came to see Aunt Josephine. She's my mom's classmate.
Karla (stranger)
No, she's gone!
We wandered around the city, all hungry. We ran out of money. My sister kept asking for food. And finally, she ran into the forest.
Natalie
Marissa, come back!
Marissa
Natalie, look, I see a palace. The door is open!

Why won't you listen to me? Don't take those candies!
Marissa
Natalie, just look. White chocolate and lots of truffles! Can I try some?
Natalie
No, you can't. We're leaving or we'll get into trouble.

We have to go. The devil lives here. He steals children and then eats them.
Marissa
You're lying. I want candy!
