Jessica's heartbeats steady as she saw Zach walk past her in the hallway. Gripping her book she musters up the courage and convinced herself that today is the day.

‘I’m going to go up to Zach and be like. Hey your a pretty cool dude and I’m a pretty cool girl wanna go out’

She then facepalms herself realizing how stupid that sounds. With Zach gone by her sight, she quickly picks up her pace to find him.

Her breath became heavy as she sees him sitting by himself on a bench. With his leathermen jacket, brown hair, and cute freckles~ Jessica then shakes her head to regain her thoughts.

The moment when she steps to go up to him, her hand immediately reeled back as she is pinned onto a locker.

A pretty blonde girl with ocean-like eyes, she couldn’t help but to admire her make up. Making her seem like an angel. “Stay away from him!” She says in a hostile tone. “Your cute when you’re angry...” Jessica says speaking her mind.

Veronica blushes heighten as she tries to recompose herself. “Do you know who I am? I'm Veronica the head cheer captain. So who are you?” Saying the last words in a taunting voice.

“Names Jessica and first of all it none of your business and second of all you don’t own Zach!” Jessica says pushing her back, Veronica simply shakes it off and smiles. “He will be mine got it little kitty. He will be mine.” Jessica simply blushes when hearing the word little kitty and gives a slight chuckle. “Little kitty is that the best you can do?” Veronica checks brighten and simply walk away without saying anything. Jessica is smiling and thinking how cute that interaction was. She then shakes her head to clear her thoughts.

‘Cute really? Yeah, she is kinda cute there when she embarrassed... Ugh she not cute what so ever’

Suddenly someone else presences were made aware as Jessica hear a deep husky voice. “What so funny?” She freezes in place and lookup. It’s Zach.

She turns around to face Zach. Her heartbeat quicken as she realizes that her crush is talking to her. He gives out a simple chuckle, “You are a weird girl.” Jessica quickly puffs her checks in embarrassment. “N-n I’m not.” Jessica tries to protest but simply stutter out. “So what going on with you and V?” Zach asks while scratching his head.

“Oh, she tries to bullie-“ Suddenly someone put a hand on her mouth. Veronica's face was fully embarrassed. “She and I were just having a friendly chat.” She says with a fake smile. Zach simply laughs. “Well, then I leave you two be then.” He says walking away giving a winky face to Veronica.

All it did was confused Jessica even more.

“Look stop talking to Zach or else,” Veronica says trying to threaten Jessica. She simply laughs it off. “Else what?” Veronica steps in closer to her, trying to intimidate Jessica. Which causes Jessica to back up against a locker. With her face, a mere inch away from one another. All it really did was make Jessica blush, as she notices how pretty Veronica eys are.

Veronica back off after realizing how close she is to Jessica. “I guess that makes you my rival,” Veronica muttered. Jessica simply smiles and leans next to Veronica's ears. She feels Jessica breathes near her ear causing her to blush. Jessica whispers seductively in her ears. “Zach is all mine~” Veronica back away flustered with Jessica simply sticking out her tongue to mock her. “You little-“ Before she can say anything Jessica just walk away smiling and whistling as nothing happen.

Veronica keeps on seeing Jessia every single day. More or less when she tries to talk to Zach. The moment when she gets alone time with Zach, Jessica shows up just to block her or simply annoy her. It was getting frustrating, with her being a monkey around her.

She slams her locker in frustration and let out a sigh. Her best friend Katy notices her frustration. "So what's up with you, you seem you got your panties in a bunch?" Veronica pinches the bridge of her nose, with a tired look. "Everywhere I go I see this monkey!"

Katy chuckles while walking and talking. "Is it Jessica?" Hearing Jessica's name causes Veronica to stop. She turns around to Katy and with a serious expression. "Wait how do you know about Jessica?" She says while grabbing her friend and shaking her.

Eventually, Veronica stops shaking Katy and allow her to speak. "I just heard around school that the weird girl was floating around you." She says trying her best not to piss off her friend once more time. "Weird girl, she more than weird! She shows up every single time I try to talk to Zac-" Suddenly her word got interrupted, "You summoned me?"

She turns around as see Jessica there smiling with a taunting grin. Jessica's eye twitches as she feels her blood pressure boiling. "Speak of the devil" She muttered under her breath. Jessica smiles and looks at Katy who gives the same smile as a reply. "So you must be Jessica." Verona tries her best to prevent Katy and Jessica to have a conversation, but she simply fails as the two simply talk even when she between the two. Acting like she not there.

"I never saw Jessica this mad before, it pretty funny she usually keeps her cool." Jessica listens tentatively, nodding her head agreeing with Katy. "Jessica is usually, "Move out of the way." like an ice queen of some sort." Katy chips in, "Until you came in and melt her temper." Veronica had enough of being ignored.

"I'm right there you know!" She shouts trying to get both of their attention. With her check puffing with embarrassment as the two stopped talking and look at her. "Do you see what I mean when she gets embarrassed, she looks super cute" Jessica says with Katy nodding. With Veronica's embarrassment slowly turning into a blush she quickly storms away.

Right before crashing in Zach, "Whoa there watch were you going." Zach says as he catches Veronica's last moment. Her blush heighten making her face look like a red tomato. "You alright V?" Zach ask with concern noticing her red face. She simply nods, not wanting to ruin to moment.

Suddenly Jessica sweeps in and grabs Vercoina in bridal style. "Thanks for holding her, Zach. She got a fever gotta take her to the nurse." Realizing what happens she tries her best to get off the grasp of Jessica but with no prevail. "I'm not sick you monkey!" Veronica says as she pounds on Jessica's chest. "Talk to you later V!" Zach calls out.

Finally, when arriving at the nurse's office she put down Vercoina. "I hate you so much." Jessica simply smiles and grin "Do you give up?" Veronica gets up and pins Jessica against the wall. "Me giving up. Just you wait you haven't seen the worst of it." Veronica says threatening Jessica. "Oh, you getting feisty. I like that" Jessica says nonchalantly, catching Veronica off the guard. Jessica simply walks out of Veronica pin and stick out her tongue. "Forget about Zach, by the time you get to talk to him he is all over me," Jessica says while exiting the nurse's office.

Veronica ball her fist and smiles. She got a plan tomorrow. Something to throw Jessica off guard in her weird mind game.
