Werewolves where known for their loyalty towards their mate. As the time passed by it became quite hard for the wolves to find their mate because their were thousands of packs across the world.
They tried their best to stay loyal and keep waiting for their mate but loneliness is the biggest inner demon. Many wolves get into depression some even attempt suicide because they couldn't bear the pain of loneliness.
At the end of they day. All the wolves ( except some wolves ) decided if they couldn't find their mate they would mark someone else as their mate with the others consent . Although they taught that it would be the best idea but it turned out opposite of it as some wolves still decided to stay loyal towards their mate despite the pain. But the other one already chose someone else.
As it lead to lots of fight among the packs because even the alpha of the pack had to face such problems. Due to all this the scent of the mates become faint not like they lost their sense of smell but the scent of their mate became normal like other wolves no intoxication no nothing but by chance they mark their true mate then they could smell the scent again . The bond is their ofc but like before they knew from a distance that their mate is close now they don't know which become more hard for the wolves who decided to be loyal.
The moon goddess from above was very sad by seeing her babies in such conditions so she decided to make some changes.
The changes :-
Only on their 18th birthday they could have their sense to differentiate between their mate and any other wolf.
After their 18th birthday the sense will be taken back instead of that they would get a tattoo on their body of their mates wolf as a sign that their mate hasn't been marked or they haven't mark someone else. Means they are staying loyal towards them
If their mate have been marked or they mark someone the tattoo will be vanished as they are free to find someone else who they prefer and the mate bond will be broken but they won't feel the pain of rejection.
For Male wolves the tattoo will be on their upper chest and for she wolves it would be on their waist
If the mate hasn't mark that doesn't mean that they aren't dating someone so if such conditions appear to some mates their mate could feel the pain because their mate is touching/ loving someone else.
Despite all the things if the wolves who are loyal still couldn't find their mate the moon goddess give a book on the earth for that couple

The book is like a story writing book. The book holds some rules. The moon goddess send this book on earth so that wolves could meet their mate in one way or another. This way is very rare as the wolves end up compromising but a couple passed the test so at the end of the day moon goddess give them the opportunity to meet their mate and end their suffering.

Ayyo so the intro is here the definition of the ranks are a little change so I would recommend you to read it .

True Blood :- If the parents ( either mate or not ) are one Male omega and one alpha than the child is a true blood. The most dominant one. They can even make a Male omega submit. If their mate is a Male omega and if they mate with him they can control two elements. Otherwise one if their mate is a she-wolf , beta , alpha.
Alpha :- highest rank ( except true blood) in werewolves. They are the dominant towards all the wolves and submissive towards the true blood .
Beta :- They are mostly the warriors and she-wolves are healers in the pack. If the she-wolf are strong than they can even become warriors. They are dominant towards omega but submissive towards alpha's
Omega :- The lowest rank in werewolves. They are mostly the care taker of pups ( kids) and household. Most of the omega's are female. Despite being weak they are treated equally. The most Submissive ones
Male Omega:- They are rarest kind of wolves as most of the omega's are female. Can bear the strongest heir known as true blood. Alpha voice doesn't affect them if their mate is a alpha only their mate can make them submissive . Their physical strength is same as a beta but their mental strength is like a omega as their female instincts kick in but it's up to them they can make their mental strength strong.
For example:- 1. if a Male omega's mate is a beta then the alpha voice will effect him because his mate is automatically submissive towards a alpha so they have to do the same.
If a Male omega's mate is a alpha and they do marked by them then the alpha voice won't affect them except their mate.
Alpha of the pack :- This is the leader of a pack. They have the duty to keep safe and protect their pack and pack members.
Luna :- The wife of the leader. they take care of the pack along with the alpha
Royal Blood :- When a true blood and a Male omega are mated and the child born by that is a Royal blood. They can even control all 5 elements means they are the heir of moon goddess, the one chosen to rule this world. ( none of this have ever born in a very long time and people think that's it's just a old mythology story but is it really just a story? )
( i know mostly true blood are the born by the mating of two alpha's but since it always said that Male omega produce the strongest babies so why not like this
