Fresh air coming from the East and City E’s No. 2 Middle School’s students noises from the West.—
Feeling like clashing with each other.—
In one direction, it's serenity, and in another direction, it's chaos.
In the middle of it, 3 besties enjoying cold breezes and loud noises during lunch break.
The three girls were squeezed onto their usual concrete bench, each one sitting in a way that showed exactly who they were.
Aleena was holding her phone way up high, trying to find the perfect angle for a selfie of the three of them. She was moving around, leaning left and right, trying to fit everyone in the frame.
Aurora didn't even look at the camera. Aurora was focused, leaning in close to Luna. She had one hand under Luna’s chin to keep her head still, while the other was carefully applying a bit of light makeup. Aurora looked totally in the zone—cool and mature, like a professional and a big sister, making sure everything was perfect.
Luna was struggling. She was trying to stay as still as a statue, so Aurora could finish applying her makeup. Luna was the perfect model Aurora could ask for as she let Aurora do her makeup applying practice.
Meanwhile, Aleena was making everything chaotic. She was holding her phone out at arm's length, tilting it back and forth to get the perfect selfie of the three of them.

Nana-! Aura-! Look at the camera. (her thumb tapping the screen)
Aurora Luca//Fl's Bff.
I can't, Lina. I'm applying Nana's makeup. It I move, her mascara will be messed up.

I can't open my eyes as Aura ish applying mascara;-;

Just as Aleena was about to snap the photo, a shadow fell over them. The wind from the East picked up, blowing Aleena’s hair right across her phone lens.
Aleena felt the wind hit her face and groaned, her hair blowing all over the place. She looked up, annoyed, and tried to brush the strands out of her eyes. Because she couldn't see straight, she moved the wrong way, and her knee knocked hard into the edge of the bench.

Ouch-! ;-;
The sudden jolt made her hands jump, and the phone slipped right through her fingers.
It was heading straight for the pavement, but Aurora didn't even flinch. Without taking her eyes off Luna’s face, Aurora’s hand shot out and swiped the phone out of the air before it could hit the ground. Then She handed it back to Aleena.

Here you go. If you cause one more trouble, you will see what I will do with you.

What happened? I can't see anything. (Her eyes closed.)

Hm.. Nana, your mascara is done, and it dried. You can open your eyes. I will apply the rest of the makeup a bit later.

Aleena scrambled back, a mischievous look on her face. “What are you gonna do—” she started to tease, but she didn't finish the sentence. Before the words were even out, she was already bolting away from the bench.
Aurora didn't hesitate. She stood up from her seat in one smooth motion, dropping her tail comb as she dashed off to catch her. But Aleena was too fast. She had a head start and was weaving through the crowd of students like she had done this a thousand times.

No matter how fast Aurora moved, Aleena was already beyond her grip, laughing as she dodged a group of boys playing football.
Luna stayed on the bench, frozen in place with her half-finished makeup. She watched them go, her eyes wide and surprised.

What... just happened..?
While Aleena was looking back at Aurora, sticking her tongue out, completely unaware of what was in front of her. Near the outdoor water station, a couple of students had been filling up their bottles.
Water fell on the tiles, and it was slippery. And Aleena’s foot hit the wet tiles. Her sneaker lost all grip, and her heart dropped as she felt herself lurching sideways. She was going down hard.

Ep 2.
Aleena’s feet flew out from under her. For a second, she was literally airborne, sailing through the air right toward the gym doors.
At that exact moment, Leon stepped out.
Aleena saw him and her eyes went wide. He looked like a hero—calm, cool, and perfectly timed. She actually closed her eyes for a split second, bracing herself to be caught in his arms like something out of a drama.
But Leon didn't catch her.
He saw a person flying toward him at high speed and his instincts kicked in. Instead of reaching out, he quickly stepped to the side to avoid the collision.
Aleena’s eyes snapped open just in time to see him move out of the way. She sailed right past his arm, her hands grabbing at nothing but air.
She face-planted right onto the smooth gym floor, skidding a few inches. The silence that followed was heavy.
Leon was standing right there, looking down at her with a mix of confusion and pity. He hadn't even broken a sweat.

Uh... you okay? (Awkward smile.)

...You were coming in pretty fast.
Leon didn't walk away. He paused, looked at her for a second, and then slowly bent down. He reached out a hand to help her up.
Aleena looked up and saw it. That smile. In that exact second, the floor, the pain, and the crowded school didn't matter anymore. Her heart was beating fast. It was love at first sight.
But instead of taking his hand, Aleena’s face turned bright red. She scrambled to her feet on her own, ignored his outstretched hand, and dashed off toward the school building as fast as she could. She was way too shy to even look at him for another second.

Aleena! Get back here! (Shouted, her voice full of genuine worry.)
She was sprinting after her, still clutching her hair-fixing brush.

Your nose! You’re bleeding, you idiot!
Aurora stood by the gym doors, her jaw dropped, watching Aleena disappear into the hallway. Leon stayed where he was, blinking in confusion at his empty hand, still wearing that small awkward smile.
