It was a cold winter Monday, the trees were white, the pathway was white covered with snow, and the air was colder than usual, but that didn't stop, Max and Jay, it even made their day a lot better, the two boys were at the local supermarket to get some soda

Max: Jay, what flavor do you want

Jay: I want the usual

Max: coming right up

 Max picked up an apple soda for himself and a grape one for Jay, the two boys walked towards the cashier together, Jay was about to pay but max stopped him

Max: Jay Jay, I got this today, drinks on me

Jay: can you even afford it, you don't even have enough money to buy gum by yourself

Max put his finger on Jay's lips and smiled sheepishly

Max: I got my allowance today, so bills on me

Jay just sighed and reluctantly let him pay for the drinks, max brought his wallet and pulled out a dollar and dropped it on the counter and grinned at jay

Max: told ya I have money, don't underestimate the power of Maximilian Weller

Max smiled smugly as he paid, and the cashier scanned the items, she turned from the computer and looked at Max

Cashier: it's a dollar per drink not a dollar for two, so you need another dollar for the other one

Max smile dropped when she said that, he opened his wallet and there were only 5 cents left in it, he turned to Jay with a sheepish smile

Max: um, can you lend a friend a dollar

Jay shook his head, knowing that Max never has enough money he came prepared and gave him a dollar.

Max and Jay left the convenience store and went to Jay's house, Max immediately rushed to Jay's fridge and snatched a bag of chips, he ran and sat near Jay and turned on the table, Jay picked up his own soda and frowned

Jay: really Max, grape soda; I'm allergic to grape, I've told you like a million times

Max gasped dramatically like he didn't remember, he scratched his head acting clueless

Max: oh my gosh I totally forgot, oops my bad I guess I have to take it for you

Jay glared at him

Jay: I rather due than to give you the soda

Jay opened the soda and took a huge gulp out of it, max got up in surprise as he saw Jay taking a gulp out of it

Max: Jay I don't think you were meant to drink that, aren't you extremely allergic to grape

Jay:Yeah I am, but what's the worse that could happen except for a bloated tongue or face

Jay didn't think much of it until he felt his airway close a little, he held his chest and started wheezing, Max got up in an instant and rushed near Jay, he knelt near Jay shook him

Max: Jay, where is your epi pen

Jay was on the floor he felt his air way closing minute by minute, he was turning blue, he pointed at the cabinet, where his epic pen was and Max rushed to find it. He shovef everything out of his way until he found it, he grabbed it in an instant and rushed towards Jay, he immediately stabbed it in Jay's thighs but Jay wasn't responding.
