Ep one intro
it has been two years since the zombie apocalypse struck and changed everything in the world. Amongst the places that were greatly affected, is a small town known as Silverfog.
Silverfog was where the zombie apocalypse began and it was also where it all ended, leaving a number of zombies behind
Zombies coexist with people in Silverfog. Some zombies are aggressive while some are passive. It's hard to know, so the few humans that decided to stay in Silverfog after the evacuation, are always careful not to encounter the wrong ones
Amongst these people is Ethan Han, an eighteen years old boy who got left behind by his family during the evacuation. Now he lives alone in an abandoned apartment building which he shares with an old lady who likes to make him snacks and leave them outside his door

Back before everything he used to be the popular cool boy and every girls dream. Now all he does is hang around at his old schools rooftop
16 years (would be 18 but he got turned into a zombie at the age of 16 so he doesn't age)
Back then, he was on the other side of Ethan, unlike Ethan who was the girls boy...he was the boys boy, too pretty that the girls didn't stand a chance...and he knew
Him and Ethan were not friends, they were from different schools which also happened to be rivals. they competed at everything, brains, appearance and sports
And since the two of them were the stars of each school, they were meant to naturally hate each other

Ep two
It's somewhere around eleven AM and Ethan is still asleep
Ethan Han
*groans* That old lady
he's just in his boxers, he pulls a robe and puts it on before walking to the door
he unlocks the door and opens it, there's no one on the door but there's something
Ethan Han
*sighs and looks around* Thank you....*mutters* for the millionth time
he picks up the bowl and closes the door
He's used to this, the old lady Ms Gloria cooks for him almost everyday, he even forgot how to cook for himself because she cooks every meal for him
He puts the bowl on a table and falls back on the bed

two years and the world is as boring as it was
Ethan Han
I'm too lazy to do anything
He gets up, looks at the food on the table

At least there's food. Tch!
He finds himself dressing up in his usual hoodies and going out after his breakfast
Before he can go any further, he stops by the door to the old woman's apartment and puts the cleaned bowl by the door

*knocks* Thanks for the breakfast
Old lady Gloria
*door opens*

*studies him* going out?

*nods* just a walk
Old lady Gloria
be careful, I heard they are getting more and more aggressive these days

it's just the rooftop, nowhere far
Old lady Gloria
*nods* better to be careful than sorry

*sighs* fine, anything you want me to get
Old lady Gloria
*thoughtfully* Stop by the supermarket and get me some vegetables
Old lady Gloria
Oh, and please socialize a little...I heard there's a group of younger people at the north, why don't you relocate to that side

*starts to walk away* I'm fine here
Old lady Gloria
No think about it, you can't stay here forever...this place...is not good for a young boy like you
Ethan Han
*smiles* there's enough food
Old lady Gloria
*sighs* food is not everything, you need company
Ethan Han
*waves* okay, I'll think about it

Ethan walks out of the building, his hands in his pockets
it's not that he doesn't know about the people at the north of Silverfog. He knows, some of the people who were left behind during evacuation relocated to the north because the place was better off and some of his friends left as well.
He remained, not because he didn't want the good life...no, he had his own reason...just one
And he it tied him to this side of Silverfog

He's here, somewhere

I can smell him
He drags his body lazily. He has been walking all the way from the north for over a month
When some of the relocated, he had lazily dragged himself to the north following the scent of the fresh blood hoping to find him
when he got there, he surveyed the north for months but could not find him
That was when he decided to go back to the east of Silverfog, and as he gets closer he can smell him, his fresh blood scent
And now the scent is stronger
he lazily walks towards the supermarket, there are not many people just two or three
they look at him cautiously, trying to see if he's one of the non aggressive ones
he sniffs the air, the scent is strong. he has the urge to walk into the supermarket but he can't...even as a zombie he knows he's not allowed

*takes the vegetables* Thanks Lei

Welcome, is it for the old lady again?
Ethan Han
*nods* still makes meals
Ethan Han
*chuckles* yeah, though she wants me to relocate to the north
Ethan Han
*shakes his head* No!
Leila
it would be good for you, you know
Ethan Han
If it is good, why are you still here?
Leila
*unsettled* You know I can't...my whole family...*breaks off*
Ethan Han
*pats her shoulder* Sorry, didn't mean to
Leila
*waves him off* it's been two years
Leila
I can't, if I leave where will people get there vegetables
Ethan Han
*laughs* so true
Leila
think about it though
Ethan takes out a cigarette and puts it on his mouth. Before he can even light it, something like or rather someone catches his eye
It's a zombie, dirty and unkept, it is staring at him, so intensely
He recalls what the old lady said
[they are getting more and more aggressive]
Ethan Han
(could this be one of them?)
he ignores it and starts walking the other way, as he walks he can hear the lazy footsteps behind him
Ethan Han
*swallows* come on
Ethan Han
*removes the cigarette and stashes back into his pocket*...
He quickens his steps, the quicker he gets the quicker the stomping becomes, he doesn't dare to look back
Ever since the zombies, he has never encountered any aggressive ones and this is new to him
hears a low growl behind him
he can no longer help it, he turns around and comes face to face with a disgustingly scary looking zombie

*eyes wide* What the fuck!
before it can attack, another zombie growls and grabs the other zombie, he slams him to a nearby pole and the first zombie falls, it growls but the new zombie grows louder and the first zombie whimpers

*too shocked to do anything*
Adrian Kang
*turns around and studies Ethan*...

(it's him, his blood...I can smell it)
Adrian Kang
(but who is he?)
the two of them are staring at each other
Ethan Han
(he looks familiar...)

*tries to touch Ethan*

*steps back* get away from me

*retreats his hand*

(wait, he saved me. am sure he has no ill intentions. but isn't he the one who was staring at me earlier?)

*scratches his head* Um...thanks...I guess

*shocked* you... you can speak?

*shakes his head* No, that's impossible... you're a zombie
Zombies are not meant to speak, none of the do...they all just growl, moan or groan but they don't speak

*stepping back* I must go

*realises that he's being followed* stop following me

*angrily* stop following me

*stops and stares at him sadly*...

*blinks* don't do that... don't look at me like that

(damn! he looks so pitiful!)

(but he's a zombie, I can't take him home...what if he gets aggressive and hurts me)

*looks at Adrian* Don't follow me, stay here

*stands still*
