Chapter 2: The Boy Who Sat by the Window
The classroom was loud as usual.
Suneo was bragging about something expensive.
Gian was arguing with someone over a notebook
Shizuka was trying to calm them down.
His head rested against the window, sunlight falling across his face.
His notebook was open, unfinished homework staring blankly at the ceiling.
He had only looked up for a second.
But Nobita looked… peaceful. Carefree.
As if the world didn’t weigh on him the way it weighed on others.
When the teacher called Nobita’s name,
He jolted awake, stumbling over his words while the class laughed.
Instead, he quietly wrote something in his notebook.
"NOBITA SMILES EVEN WHEN HE’S EMBARRASSED."
He closed the notebook quickly.
But when Nobita turned around later and smiled at him awkwardly
Thanking him for lending a pen he didn’t even remember asking for…
Dekisugi felt something strange in his chest.
Something that made him look at Nobita again.

Chapter 3: The “Heroic” Rescue
And Nobita had once again forgotten his homework at home.
Nobita Nobi
Ahh! I can’t show this to the teacher!
He groaned, stuffing papers into his bag.
Suneo Honekawa
Classic Nobita. Did you forget your head too?
Gian banged his fist on the table
Gian / Takeshi Goda
Stop crying! You’ll get us in trouble too!
His papers flying everywhere as he tried to gather them. In the chaos, he tripped over his own feet and landed flat on his face.
Dekisugi, sitting calmly at his table with his perfect posture, sighed softly.
He Said, handing Nobita a few of his scattered papers.
Nobita blinked, surprised.
Nobita Nobi
Oh… th-thanks!
Nobita smiled awkwardly, he managed to knock over his juice carton — drenching his bag and some of Dekisugi’s neatly stacked notebooks.
Hidetoshi Dekisugi
Really, Nobita?
Dekisugi said, looking unbothered… but his faint smirk betrayed him.
The class burst out laughing. Nobita turned red from head to toe.
Nobita Nobi
Y-you didn’t… you didn’t even yell!
Hidetoshi Dekisugi
I Didn’t see the point
Dekisugi replied calmly, carefully placing his soaked papers aside.
Nobita thought he had just survived humiliation.
Dekisugi thought… This boy is ridiculous, yet somehow… I can’t look away.
