Foresaken: Home In the Hollow
Part I

Forsaken: Home in the Hollow
When chaos meets loneliness,
The world stops making sense.
Like a candle slowly suffocating in its own smoke,
The nights are no more; they just bleed into days,
stretching so far that you forget that the sun lays.
The clock ticks every second like its pointing you,
Asking questions for the answers that you no longer know.
The realisation sweeps in- Peace was never quiet.
It was just absence- absence of people,
absence of feeling, the absence of purpose.
In the hollow space between chaos and nothingness,
Once a time- you feared being alone now you just laugh.
For the time that ran past- you mistook emptiness for calm.
Laugh at that version of that version of you-
So hopeful, so desperate to be seen.
You didn't know- clueless; that solitude would learn your name.
It wore it like a crown of thorns -
digging deeper every time you tried to pull it out.
and the memories echoed louder than screams.
Slowly you start to drift; not towards peace but surrender.
Part II
Because one day, you stop searching-
you stop searching for peace altogether.
You stop waiting for the light, which slowly,
broke through the crack but never to you.
You stop believing that healing is a place,
where you can reach.
Instead you sit with the darkness- learning its language,
listening to its heart beat.
And that's when you meet madness,
not as a stranger but as a mirror.
It doesn't destroy you, it understands- every inch of you.
It silently stares at your broken self,
one, one word it utters - home.
And in that moment, you realize-
chaos and loneliness isn't haunting.
It's the way they fit so perfectly - like Cinderella's glass slipper.
Madness spoke in a whisper.
Unravelling the pure destiny- not of love but the eternal peace that madness found,
“Growth feels like loss before it feels like freedom.”
