It's still cold out there, perhaps Winter is just beginning to fade away, it will take more time. It is strange how these seasons come and go and then return again. Okay looks like it's time for me to buy something to eat. I have been working on my computer, and it has not happened to me that it's already 5pm now. Seems like I skipped lunch. Well, I can't say it is something which surprises me. I put on some black leather gloves, and a long jacket, which is high up to my throat, and a mask. It is not me being fancy but the cold. Soon enough I found myself in the parking of the hotel where I was staying. Skyline I murmured to myself while I came out of the old parking lot, before the entrance I decided to take a glance at the neon glowing name plate of the hotel I was staying at. Soon I made my way to a restaurant, It's good that they accept payment in cash. I ordered schnitzel and some noodles. Upon getting my food, I chose the corner most seats for me. I put down my mast and take the smell of the food, indeed a good meal can heal anyone day. I can't imagine if something had gone wrong again, I would have lost the opportunity to have this meal. Glancing my cell phone one last time, I resume eating my food. I almost finished my food when I noticed a girl not more than 8 years old. She was looking at me, outside the transparent glass wall. I speculate about the situation and whether I should consider going to that girl and ask about her presence. In the end, I decided to walk up to her. As expected she turned around directly looking at me now.

"Hello". I said.

"What are you all alone doing here?" But to my disappointment, she only stared at my face.

"Are you hungry?" I asked as she was here outside the restaurant.

" I am lost." She confessed looking down with a sad face.

"I see. Have you tried calling your Guardian?" She looks at me with visible confusion, I must confess that I almost forgot she is just a kid. "I apologize you may not have a cell phone yet. And I am assuming you don't know your way home either as you mentioned earlier that you are lost. I must ask you how did you get lost, and what are you aiming to do afterwards?" The girl stayed silent for a movement.

"I don't know. Can you help me?" She looked up to me.

"I was here with my Daddy, and he got a phone call and left me here." Likewise, I pause to process the given information.

"I see. Did your father tell you when he might be back?" I watch her shaking her head as no. I really don't know how to approach the current situation. I decided to accompany the little girl till her father returns.

"So, what is your name?"

"Lucy." She said. We had ourselves seated on a bench outside of the restaurant. "I like tulips." Lucy mentions looking at a flower shop across from the restaurant. "I see. There are good flowers."

"I want to have a closer look at them." She said with amusement. "But weren't you sad to go home?"

"I was, but that old lady looked tired." "Yes but she is just doing her job." "Okay, perhaps it wouldn't be that bad to look at those flowers." I announced while looking at my cell phone as everything seems good, and I have time, I can take a look at those flowers.

We went to the shop across the road and Lucy picked up a white tulip, she does seem like them a lot. Then someone comes running to the owner of the shop. A man.

"Luther! Something happened! I saw. It was there. That creature!" Taking a look at the person, it seems to me that he had run here upon being afraid of some creature? What? "Luther! My boy. Noo." The old lady cries. "What shall I do. It took my boy." She cries more. I try to observe the situation in my head. There is a boy named Luther, and he is abducted by some creature? Seems like someone has been abducting people in this place pretending to be some kind of creature. The situation doesn't concern me personally, but it did pique my curiosity to learn more. "What creature? Ma'am you should calm down. Can you explain the situation with a little details."

Later Lucy's father comes. I told him it is dangerous to leave a child alone in unknown places and he replied while scratching the back of his hair that it wouldn't happen again. I found myself willingly participating in this current event. A creature abducted a human? Interesting.

The old lady kept on crying. I naturally ask the person who happened to witness the situation one more time about the incident.

The man finally spoke to me.

"You don't know about Lake Suily?" I got the name of a place. Seeking for more information I asked

"Yes, I don't know about Lake Suily." The man took a look at me in order to observe.

"You don't live here, do you?" It is very unlikable to me when someone wants to have a conversation regarding my residence.

"Let's say, I am new to this town." The man again looks at me.

"Where are you from?" I could see that question coming before handed.

"Let's talk about Luther." I stated, the situation seems very interesting. "Oh Luther, I told me to not go there. That' place... everyone knows! There are creatures, some even saw them. Still he went. I tried to stop him, but I couldn't." The man sat down on a bench and put his left hand on his head as him explain.

"I see, would you like to talk more about it? About lake Suily." He stayed silent for a moment then started to explain.

"Many years ago, about six years ago a 17 year old girl went to the lake and was never found. The police searched for her through day and night, but there was no trace of her ever found. Soon a strange thing began to happen, people claim to see someone sitting near the gateway lead to the lake and disappear. Since then anyone who goes to the lake alone never comes back. So afterwards the lake was named Lake Suily." "The missing girl's name was Suily?" "Yes." I thought for a movement, the whole story seems to me like it was made by the locals as they seemed to have failed to come up with an explanation about the missing girl. "What was her full name?" I asked.

"I don't remember."

"Why did Luther go there?"

"I don't know. Luther was a very adventurous person, he likes to discover strange places." There is something that doesn't fit quite right to me. Before I could ask more questions, I heard a very recognizable sound from my cell phone. I immediately know what it is. I am running out of the right. "Alright, I am taking my leave." I saw the clear surprising expression on the man's face upon my sudden confession of leave. I turned to leave but something else clicked

"What is your name?" I asked the man. "Jimmy" he said "What is your name?" "My name is Jacob." I lied.

Soon I found myself in the parking lot, the fact that I do have much time to waste and I had already spent time at things which didn't concern me, the thought irked me. I space up and reach my room at the hotel. I threw the long coat on the floor and sat down on my computer. I saw the red screen. It worried me a little.

It took me six hours to neutralize it. I let myself fall back on my chair and stretched my hands. "That was pretty close enough."

I look at the clock it's late already. I decided to call the managing staff and ordered myself a coffee, strong enough to keep me awake. It is not like of me who prefers sleep either.

I take a sipe of coffee and close my eyes. The conversation of the man named Jimmy occupied my thoughts. I opened my eyes. "This is not good." I prefer control over my thoughts but when an incident like this happens, I can't seem to hold back my curiosity. I found myself searching for the Lake Suily incident of six years ago on the internet. Indeed the said words are true. Locals claim to believe there are creatures by the Lake. I suppose it is very unlikable to people to pursue the fact that they might be living next to real criminals, so they come up with stories, but any assumption at the early stage would be a mere speculation of mine.

The thought of the case keeps my attention piqued. So, I decided to take this case. I started gathering information from the internet using my tech. I came across the picture of the mentioned lake. Luther I want to find something about him, then I realised I do not know his full name. My search would not provide correct results upon that. Jimmy I can find about him. His face is known to me. It will be a little difficult and time consuming, but surely I could find something about him may I find something of Luther through him.

I decided for myself that I will not be involved in this personally. I will try to surface the hidden truth behind the mysterious occurrence.

"Lake Suily." I whispered.

"What are you possibly hiding?"

I programmed some new firewalls to my newly bought laptop, and it looks good to go. Soon my search provided me with five people with the name of Jimmy under the radius of two miles. It seems to me that this town has a very low population. I recognize the face of Jimmy I was looking for. "Jimmy Augustin" is his full name. I do not enjoy shuffling through an individual's private information, but this is an interesting one. I looked for anything related to Luther that would help me better understand the objective of visiting that lake and the sudden disappearance. Soon, I found a chat between Jimmy and Luther.

"It seems like Luther was wanting to know about the history of Lake Suily from Jimmy. Which makes it more clear about the said words of Jimmy. Luther did sound like an adventurous person. It would be very much possible that Luther did his own research about the lake."

Through Jimmy's contact with Luther, I found out the last name of Luther. "Luther Jones". "Good. now my search can provide direct results about this person." I shift my attention to my computer for any movement. So far everything looks good.I decided to look into Luther's device. It is quite risky. I review all my protection systems and their functions.

Hi my fellows, I was in my middle school when my parents decided to move out from the area. But I can still remember them telling the horrific story of Lake Suily. So, I decided why not share my horror story with you all.

They said this all started from the 17th year old girl Suily. She was the first one to disappear, then the sight of a creature appears and scares the whole town. Well, as far as I know, there are 3 more victims of that creature. A local bakery shop worker, Andrew Johnson in 2021, an architect Liam Horton in 2023, and brother of Suily in 2025. It is said when her sister disappeared, everyone failed to find her, so later her brother went to find her alone and disappear.

Now, fellows what do you think? Is there really a monster lurking around our world or are they aliens coming for us?

After reading the post, I searched through various other sources to check the reliability of the information.

Indeed, the posts provide me with crucial information. The first victim Suily, then two more from different professions within one year gap. Later, Suily's brother had the same time gap. It seems like this 'creature' only hunts after a year or someone does not want the story to fade away and wants to see fear of the creature remaining constant within the town. I tapped my fingers multiple times on the table. But what about Luther? Most of the victims disappeared at night, however when Jimmy came running to us, it was day. There is no one year gap either. It seems like people are supposed to stay away from Lake Suily. I shall find out the history of the lake and details about Suily's family.

I shift my attention to my computer. Everything functioning alright. I got up from my chair and stretched my arms. I opened the window, it is a little colder in the early morning, I didn't realize it was past 4 a.m. already. I do not seem to have much sense of time when I am at my computer. The faded moonlight falling over my room through the window, increasing its beauty. I held the curtains and tucked it sideways preventing them falling over my face. I thought people would find the view calm and beautiful, maybe it is. I stayed in that position for a while to rest my eyes before going back to my devices.

I proceed to extract useful information about the history of the lake and victims family. It took me three hours.

The lake has become known to people since when some soldiers in the war were hiding in the forest. They stumble upon the lake and drink the water from there. Later people decide to live in the area as it was away from the city and mostly the safe from the war outside. The original name of the lake was Edel.

There was no specific owner of the lake. I thought the lake must belong to the government, to ensure my assumption, I decided to look into the region municipality's storage data. I found something interesting.

Later in 2015, the authority of the lake was given to the Miller family for a government initiative project to transform it into one of the tourism places. Suily Miller was the daughter of the Miller family, followed by her brother Jake Miller.

Something does not seem right there. When those incidents occurred no one mentioned anything about the owner of the lake, as if none knows about it themselves. It was not mentioned in the police investigation report back then either.

I want to find out the current location of the Miller family and people related to it.

From the police report and new article, I found out the Suily Miller family contains four people, Suily Miller, Jake Miller, their mother Linda Miller and Father Friedrich Miller. However, I could not find more information about the origin and history of the Miller family. Perhaps the resident of the town knows something related to them.

I wonder, how to collect information from people in the town. I do not want to directly influence the case.

yet, I am having a constant feeling of being so close to unveiling the truth.
