☆The University Collision☆
The Hanyang Prestige University was not just a place for learning; it was a runway. On one side, you had the Kim Family. If money had a sound, it would be the Kims walking down the hallway—the clicking of designer boots, the scent of expensive cologne, and the general aura of "I could buy this building, but I’m too busy being handsome."
On the other side, you had the Jeon Family. They were wealthy enough to own the building too, but they’d rather spend the money on a really good meal and a comfortable hoodie.
Kim Taehyung, the eldest Kim, walked through the campus gates like he was appearing in a slow-motion perfume commercial. He was cold, sharp-eyed, and could take down five guys in a street fight without wrinkling his $5,000 blazer.
"Brother, your tie is slightly crooked," whispered Kim Rowoon, the middle brother. Rowoon was the tallest, the most stoic, and basically looked like a marble statue that someone accidentally brought to life.
"It doesn't matter," Taehyung said, his voice deeper than the ocean. "The world adjusts to me."
"I think you just like being dramatic," chirped Kim Yeonjun, the youngest. Yeonjun was the "baby" of the Kims, but he had the same "I’m better than you" smirk as his brothers.
The Parents: Behind them, in a gold-plated SUV, were Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin.
"Namjoon, did you make sure the university renamed the library after us yet?" Seokjin asked, checking his reflection for the 100th time. "My face deserves to be on a plaque."
"Working on it, honey," Namjoon sighed, accidentally breaking the door handle of the car because he was too strong.
■ [The Arrival of the Jeons]□
Suddenly, a sensible, modest (but very expensive) electric car pulled up. Out stepped Jeon Jungkook. He was wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans, looking like the boy next door—if the boy next door had muscles that could crush a watermelon and the face of a literal angel.
"Taehyung is staring again," Jungkook’s middle brother, Jeon Seop, whispered. Seop was the sweetheart of the family, always carrying snacks for everyone.
"Let him stare," Jungkook chuckled, flashing a bunny-smile that made half the girls (and boys) in the hallway faint. "He looks like he needs a hug. Or a reality check."
Jeon Beomgyu, the youngest, was busy tripping over his own feet while trying to be cool. "Jungkook-hyung! Wait for me! I think I lost my backpack!"
The Parents:
In the dr
iver’s seat were Jeon Yoongi and Jeon Suga (the most chilled-out parents in history).
"Yoongi, are the kids okay?" Suga asked, half-asleep.
"They're fine. If someone bothers them, Jungkook will just accidentally flip them over his shoulder. Let’s go get coffee," Yoongi replied, driving away before the Kims could even say "Hello."
(The "Meet-Cute" (Or "Meet-Chaos")
The two groups met in the center of the courtyard. It was like a scene from an action movie.
Taehyung stood with his best friends, Wang Yibo (who looked like he was ready to race a motorcycle through the library) and Zhang Linghe (who was busy looking down at everyone with a sophisticated smirk).
Jungkook stood with his best friends, Xiao Zhan (who was literally radiating sunshine and kindness) and Zhai Xiaowen (who was currently trying to convince a stray cat to follow him).
"You're in my way," Taehyung said, looking at Jungkook.
"The hallway is twelve feet wide, Taehyung," Jungkook replied sweetly. "I think you can walk around."
Taehyung stepped closer, his cold gaze meeting Jungkook’s calm one. "I don't walk around things. People move for me."
"Is that so?" Jungkook leaned in, his voice dropping to a dangerous but playful whisper. "Well, I’m a Jeon. We don't move. We plant roots."
Behind them, Lee Know (a friend of the Kims) was judging everyone's fashion choices, while Kim Seungmin (who lived for the drama) started recording the whole thing on his phone.
"Ten bucks says Taehyung falls in love with him by Friday," Seungmin whispered to Lee Know.
"Make it twenty," Lee Know replied.
•~The Marriage Bomb~•
While the brothers were staring each other down, their parents were actually... at a fancy restaurant together?
"Namjoon," Yoongi said, sipping his tea. "Our families are too different. Your kids are too dramatic, and my kids are too nice."
"Exactly!" Seokjin exclaimed, slamming his hand on the table. "That’s why we should merge! My Taehyung needs someone to teach him how to smile, and your Jungkook needs someone to buy him a suit that costs more than a Honda."
"A marriage alliance?" Suga woke up. "Sounds like less work for us. Let's do it."
Back at the university, Taehyung and Jungkook were still staring at each other when their phones buzzed simultaneously.
Text Message: “Congratulations! You’re getting married to the guy standing in front of you. Engagement party is at 8:00 PM. Don't be late. — Mom & Dad.”
Taehyung looked at his phone. Jungkook looked at his.
The entire courtyard went silent.
"I'm marrying... you?" Taehyung gasped, his cold mask finally breaking.
Jungkook grinned, that dangerous, sweet Jeon smile. "Well, 'hubby,' I hope you like simple dinners, because your show-off days are over."
Yeonjun and Beomgyu looked at each other in horror. "If they get married... does that mean we have to be roommates?!"
