The Story Which Never Meant~

1st

Lucifer learned early that blood didn’t always mean love.

In the grand house where chandeliers glittered and smiles looked perfect, he was nothing more than a shadow. His parents praised his elder brother, trusted his cousins, celebrated everyone—except him.

And then came the night everything shattered.

A crime he didn’t commit.

Money stolen from the family vault.

All evidence… pointed to him.

Lucifer still remembered his mother’s eyes—cold, certain.

“You’ve always been a disappointment.”

They cast him out before dawn. No trial. No truth. No goodbye.

Rain fell like needles as he walked the empty road beyond the estate. No home. No name. No reason to exist.

He might have collapsed there forever…

If she hadn’t found him.

Nova.

She appeared beneath a broken streetlight, holding an umbrella too small for two people. Her eyes held galaxies—soft, endless, kind.

“You’re hurt,” she said gently.

Lucifer laughed bitterly. “You don’t know the half of it.”

“Then tell me,” she replied, as if his pain wasn’t inconvenient. As if he mattered.

No one had ever spoken to him like that.

Days turned into weeks in the tiny apartment she shared with him. Nova worked long hours at a bookstore. Lucifer fixed broken things—lamps, shelves, his own shattered will.

She never asked for his past.

Never doubted his innocence.

Never looked at him with suspicion.

And slowly… impossibly… Lucifer began to breathe again.

He learned the sound of her laugh.

The way she hummed while cooking.

How she always left the window open for moonlight.

Love didn’t strike him like lightning.

It grew—quiet, stubborn, healing.

One night, he finally spoke.

“They betrayed me,” he whispered. “My family. They chose lies over me.”

Nova didn’t offer pity. She stepped closer and placed her hand over his heart.

“Then we’ll build a new truth,” she said. “You’re not what they made you.”

Something inside him broke open.

Because for the first time… someone chose him.

The day his family came back—seeking forgiveness after the real thief was exposed—Lucifer stood taller than he ever had in their mansion.

But he didn’t belong there anymore.

He looked at Nova waiting by the gate, sunlight tangled in her hair.

And he understood.

Home wasn’t blood.

Home was the person who stayed when everyone else left.

He walked away from the family name…

And toward the girl who saved him.

“Nova,” he said softly, taking her hand, “I think I fell in love with you the night you shared your umbrella.”

She smiled, galaxies bright.

“I know,” she whispered. “I fell first.”

And the boy who was betrayed by his family…

was finally chosen by love. 🌙✨🖤

days turned into weeks so then into months the bond between them grew more stronger... the feelings lucifer kept locked... now feels more real to express... maybe there where many ups and downs but the true relation where both sides pours equal efforts can lead a true happy life.
