In Love With The Fallen Star

Episode 1

Lianna Kim, the infamous socialite, and heiress was the talk of the town. She's not a celebrity but paparazzi and journalists would always follow her around hoping to get a glimpse of her luxurious lifestyle. Companies would try and take her in as a model since every time she wears or uses something, it would instantly sell out within a matter of seconds. She was like the goddess of every man and the role model of every woman in the country.

But she had one big secret that no one ever knows except her parents. She was a fan of an almost faded out idol group.

"My lady?"

"Ahh, yes?" she said as she snapped out from her thoughts.

"Your father would like to see you," the butler.

She stood up from her chair and fixed her dress.

"Where is he?" she asked.

"At his office, my lady," the butler said as he led her to the private elevator to which leads directly to the President's office.

"Thank you. I'll take it from here," she smiled as the elevator closed.

She sighed. Her father's been acting quite odd these days ever since her mother accepted another acting job.

"Daddy? You called for me?" she asked as soon as she entered her father's office.

"Ahh, you're here. Your uncle asked me to manage his company for 3 months and I've been getting overly stressed with it. Would you mind if I ask you to take over his company?" he asked as he brushed his hair back.

She smiled. So that was it. That was the reason why her dad's been acting odd these past few days.

"Sweety. I'm so sorry. But would you mind?" he asked. "The company's been going downhill for the last 2 years and you know what happened with your Aunt."

She walked to him and hugged his frustrated dad. Her father has always been trying to help his siblings in any way he can but with his huge business empire, he can't possibly manage another company that was about to go bankrupt.

"Is that the reason why you look so anxious after mother took on another role?" she asked as she sat down on the sofa.

"One of the reasons," her father confessed. He knew that his wife wouldn't just sit still if ever a wonderful script comes across her hands and he accepted that even though it weighed on his heart that he wouldn't see her every day because of her shooting schedules.

"I wouldn't mind daddy. But first I'll need to familiarize with Uncle's company first. Which company is it?" she asked.

"Here," her father said as he handed her a portfolio.

She got surprised as soon as she opened the folder.

Galaxy Entertainment. The company that manages Thunder, the group she has always idolized. Well, to be exact, the group where her idol belongs.

Galaxy Entertainment was one of the biggest entertainment companies in the country and still is. The difference is they don't like to manage idols anymore ever since the incident with one of their idols. They only manage models and actresses and actors now.

"I'll take the job, dad. Don't worry," she smiled.

"Really?" he asked. He never doubted his daughter's skills in managing a company. It was the reason why her grandfather chose her as the successor of the Kim Group of companies instead of her older cousin who is always out of the country to party. But she was always choosy with whatever work that was handed to her.

"Yep. The company's still thriving and is successful," she said as she flipped through the papers. "And besides... they're managing them."

"You're still into them?" her father asked as he took his seat.

"Yes. But don't worry. I won't get my emotions to get in the way of work. You know my work ethics dad," she said. "I'll start working tomorrow. But there's one thing I'd like to ask from you before I start."

"Sure sweetheart. Tell me," he said.

"I'd like to borrow Eunsoo from you," she smiled. Ryom Eunsoo was her father's elite secretary. He pledged his loyalty to Kim Taeho, Lianna's father. But recently, he has been sticking with Lianna and assisting her with whatever she does. He became a loyal dog around Lianna.

"Oh, isn't he yours?" her father asked.

"What do you mean?" she asked back.

"He stopped following me around when you started working here," he said.

"Oh, are you willing to give him up?" she asked.

"Well, since you're taking up most of my work, why not?" he smiled.

She laughed. Most children from rich families aren't really close with their parents. She was lucky that she got along with her father and mother really well.

"Well then, should I start the preparations?" she asked as she stood up.

"Alright then," he said.

As she stood up to leave, her father called her again.

"Lianna, thank you," he said before she entered the elevator but instead of responding, she smiled at her father.

Chapter 2

After a talk with her father, she went back to her office. She read her nameplate as it said Vice President.

"So, you're a president now," she turned towards the door as Eunsoo entered.

"Wow, word travels fast huh," she smiled. "Anyways, do you want to help me with this?"

Eunsoo knew she could always do the job successfully without his help. But he wanted to help her rise. He wanted to see her become a glorified woman that she had always dreamt of.

"Of course, milady. What do you want to do first?" he asked as he walked over to her table.

"Get someone to get me information about Galaxy Entertainment. The staff, artists, board of directors. Stock information, anything that involves the company," she said as she handed him a portfolio about the company.

"Right away, milady. Please consider it done. What should we do next?" he asked.

"I'd like to visit the company after this lunch," she said.

"Then I will arrange and prepare anything necessary for your visit, milady," he smiled as he left her in her office.

She was left alone in her office and in her thoughts.

Her parents found Eun-soo in an orphanage where their family supported. He was a quiet and introvert boy who doesn't speak to anyone. He was orphaned at such a young age. Her parents decided to raise him as their own son but as he grew up, he didn't want to be treated like their son.

He could have been the family's heir if he accepted the role since her grandfather once offered it to him but he rejected it saying he doesn't deserve it and passed the role of becoming the heir to her. He had always been excellent in every aspect, whether be it music, cooking, sports, academics or business but he said all of those where for serving the Kim family who took him in.

She knew she made the right decision of taking him by her side. With him, she knew she can conquer anything.

As she opened her laptop to resume her work, a picture on her desktop. The man who used to be a boy that saved her life.

"You really forgot about you me you stupid fool," she smiled as she gently touched her laptop's monitor screen.

She sighed.

"Well then, I'll make you remember me now... Kwon Changwoo," she smiled as she clicked on her work.

Kwon Changwoo.

Of course, she couldn't forget that name. He was at the peak of his career when something happened to her. How could she forget someone who sacrificed his career just to save her?

Every time she remembers that horrible accident, her hair on her neck would stand up on ends. It was like the car accident of the year. She was on her way to her grandparent's wedding anniversary when her car skidded down the slippery road since it was heavily raining.

She couldn't remember what happened during the car crash but what she clearly remembered was there was a person who pulled her out of the burning car and his face was then etched into her mind.

And when she woke up, she was already in her hospital room. She quickly asked for her savior. Her parents told them that her savior was injured but was then fine after a few check-ups.

What she didn't know was her savior burned half his body trying to get her out. But of course, after she recuperated she investigated who her savior was and it was easy to search who since he was already pretty famous and his face is almost everywhere on the streets. And she found out what really happened to him. She secretly helped him go to a famous doctor through her uncle's company. But by the time his scars healed, his career was already downhill. And he completely forgot about which pissed her off.

Episode 3

The Galaxy Entertainment was set ablaze as the news spread like wildfire that the Vice President of the Kim Industries was going to inspect the company before taking over. It was a hectic schedule for their actors and actresses and it became even more hectic when the news came.

"What do you mean she's going to inspect the company?" Chong Yuri asked.

"Yes, her assistant called the secretary to prepare the company as she is going to inspect it this afternoon. That is why everyone here is running around everywhere. We do apologize for not taking notice of your presence earlier," Tak Minki, the assistant of the chief director said as he met Yuri at the entrance.

Chong Yuri was almost close to running amock in the company as she wasn't welcomed the way she wanted it since the entire company was busy cleaning and preparing for the future CEO's arrival that afternoon. But she didn't know who it was.

"And who might this woman be? Who is this actress that you have to prepare for so diligently?!" she yelled.

"Uh... She's the future CEO of this company, Miss Yuri," Tak Minki said.

Chong Yuri suddenly stopped in her tracks.

"Future CEO?" she asked.

"Yes, she's the daughter of the CEO of the Kim Industries and is currently the Vice President of the Kim Industries," he said.

She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists as she hurriedly walked over to the elevator without uttering a word to the poor assistant.

Even the idols and trainees were also busy preparing since they were told that this future CEO would like to oversee the success of every artist meaning they will be given spotlight in the entertainment industry. However, the Thunder group wasn't aware of these situations.

"Hey, I heard Chong Yuri just came back from abroad from an international shoot? Aren't you going to greet her?" HyeonJun said. He was the leader of the K-pop group, Thunder.

"Yah, we broke up ages ago. Remember?" Changwoo said as he pressed the play button on his phone. "don't talk to me if you have nothing important to say."

Hyeongjun sighed. Changwoo became extraordinarily lonesome after that incident. He had always tried to forget that but he couldn't. It was the incident that turned his successful life and career around. But after that incident, he almost forgot he had a life.

"Oi, what's with all the buzz in the company?" Hyeonjun asked as he sat down beside Taejun.

"Didn't you hear? Were getting a new CEO," Taejun replied without looking up from his phone.

"Really?" Hyeonjun asked.

"Yep. They said it's the only daughter of the CEO of the Kim Industries. Can't believe they're putting that lady into this company's hands," Sungmin said.

"Hey, that lady you're referring to is quite a successful woman. She became the Vice President of the Kim Group of Companies a.k.a Kim Industries after graduating college. The company's income boosted to almost half a hundred percent with her leadership," Taejun said as he scrolled through his phone.

"Really?"Hyeonjun said as he looked over Taejun's phone.

"They said she's coming to visit," Sungmin said.

Changwoo suddenly stood up and left, confusing everyone in the room.

"Why'd he left?" Hyeonjun asked.

"You dumbass, did you forgot? That daughter of the CEO of the Kim Industries, Lianna Kim was the woman he saved from that incident and was the reason for the downfall of his career," Taejun said.

"Our career," Sungmin said, correcting Taejun.

They suddenly fell silent.

"It wasn't her fault," Hyeonjun said.

"Yeah, but Changwoo wouldn't believe that," Sungmin said.

The atmosphere inside their practice room became even heavier as they noticed people running around outside their room. They weren't even informed to prepare. They were just left.

"Let's go," Taejun said.

"Where to?" Hyeonjun asked.

"To prepare. I feel like something big is going to happen to us if we help move around," Taejun said as he put his phone in his pocket.
