To every dreamer who has ever loved someone so deeply, it felt like home.
To Taehyung and Jungkook — and the universe that keeps pulling them together.
A Note from the Author
Welcome to Yours — a little collection of stories I wrote with my whole heart.
This book is messy and sweet and aching all at once, just like love tends to be. You'll find soft mornings and stolen glances, tearful midnights and whispered confessions. You'll find two boys who somehow, in every universe and every lifetime, always find their way back to each other.
Some stories will make you smile so wide your cheeks hurt. Others might make you reach for a pillow to hold. A few might do both at the same time.
But know this — every single word in these pages was written with love. For the ship, for the stories, and most of all, for you.
With love, The Author 🤍

The collision happens in slow motion.
One moment Jungkook is rushing through Gangnam Station, eyes on his phone, earphones in, completely oblivious to the fact that the universe is about to do something to him — and the next he's crashing into someone. Solid warmth.
The faint smell of coffee and something woodsy, like cedar or rain-soaked earth. His phone clatters to the ground. Papers scatter like confetti, sliding under strangers' shoes.
They freeze.
Around them, Seoul doesn't. Commuters split and flow and grumble, the announcement board flickers, a child somewhere starts crying. But in the small circle of space between them, everything goes oddly, impossibly still.

*looks up*
Jungkook
Jungkook
*The apology dies somewhere between his chest and his mouth*
The stranger is already staring back at him — wide eyes, a little startled, one hand still gripping Jungkook's arm from catching his balance. He's tall. Broad shoulders under a camel coat that looks expensive but worn-in, comfortable.
His hair is dark and slightly overgrown, curling just a little at the ends like he's overdue for a cut but hasn't gotten around to it. There's a tiny mole under his lip. Jungkook notices it immediately and then feels strange for noticing.
There's a moment — just a single breath of a moment — where the entire rush of Seoul seems to fade into white noise.
Taehyung

"Hi"
Jungkook
Jungkook
"Hi"
They say, in unison.
Taehyung
Taehyung
*blinks*
Then his lips curve into a small, surprised smile, like he hadn't expected that, like it caught him off guard in a way that he doesn't entirely mind.
Taehyung
Taehyung
*grip on Jungkook's arm loosens — but doesn't quite let go*
Jungkook
Jungkook
"I'm—"
Jungkook
Jungkook
*Swallows. His voice comes out smaller than he intends* "Jungkook."
Taehyung
Taehyung
"Taehyung."
The name comes out soft. Almost careful. Like he's handing Jungkook something fragile and wants to make sure it lands safely.
They stand there while commuters flow around them like water splitting around stones. Jungkook should move. Should apologize properly, pick up his phone, check if the screen cracked. He should do a lot of things.
But Taehyung's eyes are this warm, deep brown — the kind that catches fluorescent station lighting and somehow still manages to look like honey, like autumn, like something that belongs outside and not underground — and suddenly Jungkook can't remember where he was rushing to or why any of it mattered thirty seconds ago.
Taehyung
Taehyung
"I..."
Taehyung
Taehyung
*starts. Stops. His jaw shifts slightly, like he's turning words over in his mouth and finding none of them right. His hand is still on Jungkook's sleeve*
Jungkook
Jungkook
"Yeah,"
Jungkook
Jungkook
*says, even though Taehyung hasn't asked anything.*
The silence stretches between them — not uncomfortable, not awkward, just full. Packed tight with something neither of them knows how to name yet. Like there are a thousand things to say and no idea which one goes first.
Taehyung's thumb brushes against the inside of Jungkook's wrist, just once, barely a movement at all, and Jungkook's heart does something stupid and embarrassing in his chest.
Jungkook
Jungkook
*Then his phone rings.*
The spell shatters. They both jolt, suddenly aware — of how close they're standing, how Taehyung's hand is still touching him, how at least three people have definitely stared. Jungkook fumbles for his phone on the ground, flips it over.
Jungkook
Jungkook
*His Manager*

Shit💭
Jungkook
Jungkook
"I gotta go,"
Jungkook
Jungkook
*comes out with the casual familiarity of someone saying goodbye to an old friend. Someone he's known for years. Not ninety seconds.*
Taehyung
Taehyung
*nods, steps back. The warmth of his hand disappears*
Jungkook
Jungkook
*answers the call as he walks away, already launching into apologies about being late, already being swallowed by the crowd. He makes it three stations down the line before it hits him — sudden and sharp, like a second collision:*
Jungkook
Jungkook
I didn't get a number.💭
Jungkook
Jungkook
"Fuck"
Jungkook
Jungkook
*mutters, loud enough that the woman beside him on the bench shoots him a look.*
He has nothing. Not a last name. Not a photo. Not even which direction Taehyung had been heading. Just a first name, and the ghost-feeling of a thumb against his wrist, and the memory of a smile that hadn't fully formed before he walked away from it.
Jungkook
Jungkook
Seoul has ten million people. What are the odds?💭
Jungkook
Jungkook
*wants to laugh at himself, but it gets stuck somewhere in his throat and just sits there, heavy and useless.*

Taehyung
Taehyung
*realized the moment Jungkook disappears into the crowd.*
Taehyung
Taehyung
"Wait—"
Taehyung
Taehyung
*says, to no one*
He's moving before he's decided to, pushing past businessmen and students and a group of tourists with rolling luggage, scanning face after face after face. Dark hair, everywhere. Black jackets, a million of them.
The announcement board switches and a train rushes in on the opposite platform, swallowing all other sound for three full seconds.
No Jungkook.
He stops in the middle of the platform. Breathing a little harder than he should be. Feeling ridiculous, and desperate, and strangely, inexplicably hollow — like something was almost handed to him and got snatched back at the last second.
Taehyung
Taehyung
*doesn't even know why he ran. Doesn't know what he would've said*
Taehyung
Taehyung
Hey, give me your number, I don't know you, but I think I want to.💭
Taehyung
Taehyung
Insane. He'd have sounded insane.💭
Taehyung
Taehyung
"Idiot,"
Taehyung

*mutters to himself.*

*But he pulls out his phone anyway. Opens the maps app. Pins the location with a small flag.*
