Jesus Christ:The Love of My Life

The Birth of My Love

The love of my life is Jesus Christ. He is my savior, my king and the one who really loves me and cares for me forever and ever.

For anyone to understand why, we need to start from the beginning, the birth of my savior.

Jesus Christ wasn't born like any other kid in a fancy hospital with lots of relatives and loved ones. He was born in a manger. The reason, because the king at that time called for a population census. So his parents, Mary and Joseph went back to their hometown, Bethlehem for the population census. In truth, Mary was still a virgin when she was pregnant with Jesus Christ. An angel, angel Gabriel in particular, appeared to her some time back that she will conceive a son and will name him Jesus. So when they got to Bethlehem turns out there was no inn for them to stay in because it was all full. So, a manger was given to them to stay in.

Meanwhile, some shepherds feeding their flock in a field were suddenly visited by angels, singing and telling them Christ was born. even some magi, these are men who read and studied the stars, went to the place baby Jesus was born. On the way (I'm not very sure.) they met king Herod and they told him about Jesus, who would be the king of the world. Herod was angry at this because if Jesus was born it would end his rule, so he said to the magi,

'show me this child that I may see him and worship him.'

The magi agreed and left. On reaching the manger, baby Jesus had already been born wrapped in swaddling clothes. The wise men/ magi, brought him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Even the shepherds came and worshipped him. when the wise men left, they followed another direction to leave Bethlehem as GOD had instructed them. Herod realized this and was angry that the men had trucked him and ordered for all the children from 3 years and younger be killed. But fortunately, God had already instructed Mary and Joseph to flee from Bethlehem to Egypt (not really sure...) until the death of king Herod and they did. When Jesus Christ was young he would go to the temple, asking the men there questions about things people his age shouldn't have even understood. Jesus could already be seen as blessed at a young age, he spent most of his time in the Temple (also called the synagogue or church at that time...), praying and asking questions to the Jewish leaders. When Jesus became older, he became more knowledgeable and wise. At this time there was a prophet called John the Baptist. He preached the word of GOD and baptized people. He was one of the many prophets that spoke of Jesus Christ before his birth. One day, Jesus went to the river where John the Baptist baptized people and asked if John to baptize him. John quickly refused with a saying like this.

'Lord, I am not even worthy of tying your shoe laces, how can I be the one to baptize you, you are the one to baptize me.

TO BE CONTINUED IN THE NEXT CHAPTER. YOU DON'T NECESSARILY HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY UPDATES YOU CAN READ THE BIBLE BY YOURSELF. READ MATTHEW IN THE NEW TESTAMENT OF THE HOLY BIBLE. PLEASE I WANT YOU TO LOVE JESUS CHRIST AS MUCH AS I DO BECAUSE HE LOVES, GENUINELY CARES AND DIED FOR US EVEN WHEN NONE OF US DESERVE IT. THINK OF SOMEONE WHO NEVER DID WRONG IN HIS LIFE BEING PUNISHED FOR THE SINS OF EVERYONE.
