Morning at the university
The campus was filled with noise and laughter as students walked around in groups
Some were talking excitedly while others joked with their friends. It was the usual lively atmosphere of a normal college day
But among all those people one person walked quietly through the hallway
Jungkook was known by many students in the university yet no one was truly close to him
He rarely talked to anyone unless it was necessary His calm expression and distant attitude made people think he simply didn’t care about others
Earphones rested in his ears as he walked past the crowd his eyes focused straight ahead
His routine was always the same — attend classes and leave without getting involved with anyone

Jungkook heard their voices clearly as he passed by
For a moment his steps slowed slightly
But he didn’t turn around.
Instead
He kept walking like nothing happened After hearing whispers like that for years
Reacting to them felt pointless
Maybe people thought Jungkook liked being alone
But the truth was much simpler
Somewhere along the way
Jungkook had simply stopped expecting anyone to stay
Maybe there was a time when things were different Maybe there was a time when he tried to talk to people and hoped someone would understand him
But that time had passed a long time ago
Now Jungkook didn’t try anymore
It was easier this way
He quietly entered his classroom and took his usual seat near the window
Students around him were busy chatting with their friends their voices filling the room with energy
Jungkook simply looked outside the window
The sky was clear the sunlight soft and warm
Yet somehow none of it felt like it belonged to him
After a moment he lowered his gaze and opened his book focusing on the

Just another normal day
And Jungkook believed that nothing in his life was going to change

Chapter 2
The classroom slowly filled with noise as more students arrived
Laughter, conversations, chairs moving across the floor — everything felt lively
But Jungkook sat quietly in his seat near the window flipping through the pages of his book
His eyes moved across the words but his mind was somewhere else
student 1
Did you finish the assignment
student 2
Yeah I stayed up all night doing it
student 3
Let’s go eat after class
Their voices blended together like distant noise
Jungkook didn’t join the conversation
He never did
After a while the professor entered the room and the class finally became quiet
professor
Open your books to page forty two
Everyone followed the professor’s instructions and opened their books
Jungkook did the same quietly turning the pages and focusing on the lecture in front of him
The professor’s voice filled the classroom as the lesson continued and for the next hour everything moved normally like any other day
Students listened took notes and sometimes whispered to their friends
To everyone else it was just another lecture another ordinary part of their routine
When the class finally ended the quiet atmosphere quickly changed as students gathered their things and started leaving the classroom in groups chatting and laughing as they walked out together
Jungkook packed his bag quietly.
He was about to leave when two students near the door started whispering

Did you hear what happened yesterday

About that businessman

Yeah… they said the police are investigating him

I heard something else too

That man… isn’t he related to Jungkook

That’s what people are saying
For a moment Jungkook’s hand stopped moving as the whispers reached his ears and the classroom suddenly felt colder than before yet he quickly closed his bag and stood up without showing any reaction to anyone around him he walked out of the classroom quietly his expression calm and unreadable as if those words meant nothing to him but deep inside Jungkook already knew the whispers about him would never truly stop

The afternoon sun was slowly setting as students began leaving the university
Groups of friends walked together talking about their plans for the evening
Some decided to hang out before going home
Jungkook walked through the campus gates alone
His hands rested in the pockets of his jacket while his earphones played quietly in his ears
The world around him felt distant

Is that Jungkook again

Yeah he’s always by himself

Does he even have friends
student 2
I don’t think so
But he kept walking without turning his head
The streets outside the university were busy with people rushing home after work
Shops were starting to fill with customers
Yet somehow Jungkook felt like he didn’t belong anywhere in that crowd
After walking for a while he stopped at a small convenience store near the street corner
He entered quietly and grabbed a drink from the refrigerator
The cashier barely looked at him as he paid and walked out again
But as Jungkook continued walking down the street
He didn’t notice something
Someone standing across the road
As if they had been observing him for a while
Unaware of the eyes following his every move
And somewhere in the distance
The beginning of something unexpected had already started
