Busan Police Station — 5:00 PM
The dim office light cast long shadows across the room.
A man sat lazily in his chair, rolling a small metal sphere between his fingers.
His expression was unreadable, calm — but authoritative.
The officer standing in front of him straightened immediately.
He bowed respectfully and left without another word. From the tone alone, it was obvious — the man in the chair was superior to both of them.
A few minutes later, the door opened again.
A man dressed in black stepped inside. His soft fringe fell slightly over his forehead, and his lips naturally curved into a heart shape. He walked forward confidently and saluted the senior officer.
???
Good evening. Do you know why I called you?
The senior officer glanced at the man who had brought Hoseok.
???
You may leave. Thank you for calling him.
The officer bowed once more and exited the room, leaving them alone. The man in the chair leaned back slightly.
Hoseok
*straightened instinctively*... Tell me, sir.
???
*sighed softly*... Hoseok… how many times have I told you? When we’re alone, call me by my name.
Hoseok
*hesitated for a second*
Hoseok
I’m sorry… Namjoon. No matter what, you’re still my superior. That’s why I respect you.
Namjoon’s lips twitched into a faint smile.
🕶️ Kim Namjoon
Occupation: Underground Police Leader
• The most respected and intelligent leader in the underground police unit.
• Calm, strategic, and highly observant.
• Hoseok’s best friend since college — their bond is unbreakable.
• A natural-born leader who always protects his team first.
Behind his strong and composed exterior…
• He is deeply, hopelessly in love with Jin.
• A one-sided love he has never confessed.
• Jealous.
• Possessive.
• But still kind and caring — especially when it comes to the one he loves.
He hides his emotions well.
But when it comes to Jin…
his heart is not as strong as his mind.
(NOTE: Has a little space (age regression state) when he is emotionally overwhelmed or under extreme stress.
In that state he becomes very vulnerable and childlike.)
Namjoon
*let out a deep sigh*... Anyway… I need to talk to you about something important.
Namjoon
*placed his hand on the empty chair beside him*... Come. Sit.
Hoseok immediately understood the tone.
Namjoon only spoke like this when it was about a mission. Otherwise, he would joke, tease, or act casually.
Without arguing, Hoseok walked over and sat beside him, turning to look directly at his best friend.
Hoseok
What mission now?... *asked calmly*
Namjoon
*suddenly grabbed Hoseok’s hand*... I knew you’d react like this
Namjoon
*softly*... You just finished a mission. I know you hate being sent out again so soon… but Hoseok, I don’t have a choice.
Hoseok
*sighed*... Okay. Just tell me.
Namjoon hesitated for a moment before speaking.
Namjoon
You have to go to Seoul. We received information that Agust D is operating there. We have orders to capture him.
Hoseok
*frowned*... But we don’t even know his real name.
Namjoon
I know... *replied*
Namjoon
But there are reports saying he’s hurting civilians in Seoul.
Hoseok
*brows knitted together*... Why would he do that? What does he gain from it?
Namjoon
*shook his head slowly*... I don’t know. That’s what you need to find out.
Hoseok
*looked at him, doubt flickering in his eyes* “
Hoseok
Namjoon… do you really think I can do this? What if I fail? What if I can’t even find him?
Without another word, Namjoon pulled Hoseok into a tight hug.
Hoseok hugged him back immediately.
Namjoon
I trust you... *whispered*
Namjoon
That’s why I’m sending you. You’re the most talented officer I have.
After a moment, Hoseok pulled away.
Hoseok
Fine. When do I leave?
Namjoon
*didn’t hesitate*... Tonight.
Hoseok’s eyes widened in disbelief. He broke the hug completely and stared at him.
Hoseok
Namjoon! I hate you! Who tells someone this so suddenly? I didn’t even prepare anything!
Grumbling under his breath, Hoseok rushed out of the office.
The door closed. Namjoon’s laughter slowly faded.
And then… it turned into silence.
His smile disappeared, replaced by tears gathering in his eyes.
Namjoon
Forgive me, buddy... *whispered to the empty room*
Namjoon
I argued as much as I could… but they keep insisting I send you. Even knowing your life will be in danger… I have to do this.
Outside the door, someone stood hidden in the shadows.
Seoul — Private Strip Club
Dim neon lights flickered across the dark interior.
The air was thick — heavy with alcohol, cigarette smoke, and expensive perfume. Laughter blended with low music and the clinking of glasses. This wasn’t a place for ordinary people. Mafia members, illegal dealers, and smugglers frequented this club. Power and sin walked hand in hand here.
On one of the private couches sat a man with sharp feline features. His face looked almost cute — like a cat — but there was no emotion in his eyes.
A man leaned close to him, lips brushing against his neck. Yoongi allowed it, bored, detached, as if it meant nothing.
Beside him, a soft-looking man with mochi-like cheeks — Jimin — was equally distracted, whispering something to another guest while lazily sipping his drink.
The club doors suddenly opened.
A tall man with long dark hair falling over his forehead stepped inside. His sharp jaw tightened the moment he saw them.
He walked straight toward them, irritation clear on his face.
Taehyung
Hyung... *said, lowering his voice but unable to hide his frustration*
Taehyung
How many times have I told you not to come here? Why do you come every single day?
Yoongi didn’t even look at him.
Jimin
*rolled his eyes*... If you don’t like it, Taehyung, don’t come. And don’t tell hyung what to do.
Yoongi
*smirked faintly*... You’re still the same, Jimin.
Taehyung
*frowned at Jimin*... I’m not saying it’s wrong, hyung. I’m just saying… don’t get addicted to this.
Taehyung
*crossed his arms*... Then why are you here?
Taehyung ignored the teasing and leaned closer.
Taehyung
We have a problem.
That got Yoongi’s attention.
Taehyung
Seon just called.
Yoongi’s expression changed instantly. The lazy boredom disappeared, replaced with cold focus.
Without another word, Taehyung turned and walked out toward the parking area.
Because if Seon called, it was never something small.
Seon worked directly under Yoongi.
And if he said there was a problem…
Then something serious had just begun.
Role: Sniper in Yoongi’s Gang
• The sniper of Yoongi’s organization.
• Calm and precise when handling a gun.
• Childhood best friend of Taehyung.
• Secretly in love with Taehyung since school days.
• Wants a relationship with Teahyung.
• Never confessed because he is afraid of rejection.
• Min Yoongi and Taehyung’s close friend.
• When he was in 10 years old, his parents died in a train accident.
• Since then, he learned to stay strong on his own.
• The genius hacker behind Yoongi’s empire.
• Cold-minded when working, unpredictable when angry.
• Studied in the same college as Jungkook — but he was Jungkook’s senior.
• Has a quiet, hidden crush on Jungkook.
• Never confessed because of the age difference and fear of rejection.
• Jimin’s childhood best friend.
• Joined Yoongi when he was struggling to find a job — Yoongi gave him an opportunity when no one else did.
• Loyal.
• Sharp.
• Protective.
He doesn’t believe in relationships… but his heart betrays him whenever Jungkook is near.
The three of them drove straight to Seon’s house.
Yoongi stepped out first and pressed the doorbell, his expression unreadable.
From inside, a cautious voice called out.
Yoongi
*replied calmly*... Agust.
Yoongi
*lips curved slightly*... The mafia are all bad guys.
A second later, the door unlocked.
Seon opened it carefully, scanning the surroundings before letting them in. Yoongi walked past him without another word, looking completely bored. Taehyung and Jimin followed behind.
The three men sat down on the sofa.
Jimin
*leaned back and crossed his arms*
Jimin
Seon… not all mafia are bad.
Jimin
*A faint smirk played on his lips*
Yoongi didn’t react. But Taehyung glanced at Jimin knowingly.
Because in their world… Good and bad were just words.
Seon adjusted his invincible glasses slightly.
seon
That’s what the world believes... *replied calmly*
Yoongi’s jaw tightened for a second. He clearly didn’t like that answer.
Yoongi
Well... *said coldly, shifting the topic*... why did you call us?
Seon’s expression turned serious.
seon
There’s information that an underground police officer has been assigned to Seoul.
seon
He’s coming to arrest you, Yoongi. The order is to capture you and put you in prison.
Taehyung leaned forward immediately.
Taehyung
Any other details? Name? Rank? Face?
seon
That’s all I could get.
Jimin
*scoffed lightly*... With just this? They’re sending one man against us?
Yoongi let out a low chuckle. A dangerous smirk spread across his face.
I think they enjoy sending their people to die by my hands.
His tone was calm. Too calm. He stood up slowly.
Yoongi
If you get any more information, contact me immediately.
Without another word, Yoongi walked toward the door. Taehyung and Jimin followed behind him.
Outside, the night air felt colder. And somewhere in Busan… An underground officer was preparing to walk straight into the lion’s den.
Hoseok’s House — Late Night
Mia
Hoseok… do you really have to go?
Hoseok turned at the familiar voice.
She stood in front of him, worry clear in her eyes.
Mia
But why you?... *asked softly*
Mia
Why did they choose you?
Hoseok
*sighed*... I know why you’re asking. But Namjoon doesn’t trust anyone the way he trusts me.
Mia stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him. Hoseok hugged her back.
Mia
I love you... *whispered*
Hoseok
*arms tightened slightly*... I’m going to miss you.”
They had been together for two years. Yet Hoseok had never been the first to say I love you. He had never even proposed — Mia was the one who had confessed first.
Hoseok was shy when it came to love. Always hesitant. Always awkward. And Mia never pressured him for more.
Hoseok
Okay… I should leave... *said softly*
He picked up his luggage.
Mia
Won’t you give me one last kiss before you go?
Hoseok
Mia… I don’t really know how…
Mia
*smiled teasingly*... You’re such a grown man, and you don’t even know this?
Hoseok
*looked down shyly*... You’re my first love. I’ve never… been close to anyone before.
Mia
It’s okay... *whispered*
Hoseok instinctively took a small step back. She stepped forward again until his back lightly touched the wall.
She paused when she noticed the discomfort in his eyes. Instead, she gently kissed his cheek.
Mia
Don’t forget me... *said softly*
For some reason, that sentence made his chest tighten.
Hoseok
I could never forget you... *replied*
Tears suddenly welled up in his eyes.
Mia
Hoseok... *laughed lightly, wiping his tears*
Hoseok
I won’t forget you, Mia... *repeated, voice breaking*
She hugged him again, comforting him.
Mia
Well… it’s time. You have to go.
Hoseok
Oh god... *muttered, quickly wiping his face*
Hoseok
I almost forgot. Okay… bye.
Mia
Don’t misunderstand me… I didn’t come to drop you off. I wanted to. But I have important work.
Hoseok
It’s okay... *smiled gently*
Hoseok
Don’t worry about it.
Mia
Thank you for understanding.
He gave her his bright sunshine smile.
Hoseok
If Jungkook calls you, tell him I asked about him.
Hoseok
I will. I don’t know why he avoids talking about you.
Mia’s smile flickered for just a second.
Mia
Don’t worry. That will change soon.
Hoseok picked up his luggage and walked out of the house.
The door closed. And behind him… Mia’s soft expression slowly turned into a faint smirk.
Hoseok stood at the airport, waiting for his flight to arrive. The terminal was crowded and noisy, but his mind was somewhere else — already thinking about the mission waiting for him in Seoul.
Suddenly, he heard someone calling him.
Hoseok
*turned toward the voice*... Jungkook?
• Third-year college student in the Computer Science department.
• Hoseok’s cousin, but they share a bond like real brothers.
• Kind, shy, and usually quiet, but can become bold and confident when necessary.
• Has a secret crush on Kim Taehyung, who is his senior in college. (now Taehyung didn't studying)
• Often feels jealous of Jimin because Taehyung and Jimin are very close.
• Later becomes involved in an undercover police operation led by Officer Ken, where he helps with technical support and hacking.
Jungkook ran toward him with a bright smile.
Hoseok
kook, what are you doing here?... *asked in surprise*
Hoseok
Didn’t you say you were going on a college trip?
Jungkook
Yeah, hyung. Our trip is also to Seoul...
Hoseok blinked for a moment before rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
Hoseok
Ah… I guess I forgot.
Jungkook crossed his arms and looked at him with a small pout.
Jungkook
Hyung, I told you about it so many times, but you didn’t even listen.
Hoseok
Sorry, Kookie... *said with a sheepish smile*
Hoseok
I was busy with work.
Jungkook
*sighed but quickly smiled again*
Jungkook
So, what are you doing here, hyung? Going somewhere?
Hoseok
*let out a tired sigh*... Another mission.
Jungkook
*Eyes widened*... But hyung, you just came back from a mission two days ago!
Hoseok
I know... *replied softly*
Hoseok
But Namjoon trusts me. That’s why he sent me again.
Jungkook
*smiled proudly*... My hyung is so talented. That’s why Namjoon hyung always sends you.
Hoseok chuckled and gently patted Jungkook’s shoulder.
Hoseok
You’re smart too, Jungkook.
Jungkook
I know... *said confidently*
Hoseok
You shouldn’t say that about yourself. Other people should look at you and say it.
Jungkook
*smiled shyly before speaking again*
Jungkook
Hyung… can I ask you something?
Jungkook hesitated for a moment before looking directly at Hoseok.
Jungkook
Can I come with you… and stay in Seoul with you?
After thinking for a moment, Hoseok walked toward Jungkook’s teachers and talked with them privately. He told them that Jungkook would be staying with him in Seoul.
Luckily, there was an empty seat available on the same flight. Soon, Jungkook was able to board the plane with Hoseok.
Hoseok glanced at his cousin and sighed quietly.
He had a strange feeling that bringing Jungkook with him… might change everything.
Namjoon had taken a day off from work today. But resting didn’t help him at all.
The only thought repeating in his mind was the same one again and again:
Namjoon
💭 I shouldn’t have sent Hoseok.
Guilt was eating him alive. Sending his best friend away on such a dangerous mission felt like the biggest mistake of his life.
Because of that, he couldn’t focus on anything. He hadn’t eaten properly since morning. He even skipped breakfast.
He just sat there, lost in his thoughts.
Someone knocked on the door. Namjoon slowly walked over and opened it.
For a moment, his face showed shock. Then it quickly turned into anger.
The man at the door smirked slightly.
???
Have you already forgotten me? We were just talking about Hoseok yesterday... *said casually*
???
Anyway, let me come in first.
Without waiting for permission, he walked into the house. Namjoon hated it.
He kept staring at him with pure anger, but the man didn’t seem to care at all.
???
Hmm… Namjoon, are you alone in your house?... *asked while looking around*
Namjoon
You don’t need to know that... *snapped*
Namjoon
First tell me why you’re here.
???
I came to give you a gift. After all, you completed the task I gave you so well.
Namjoon
*jaw tightened*... Thank you very much, Mr. Seokjin, but I don’t want any gifts.
• Works secretly with powerful underground connections
• Very intelligent and calm
Looks gentle.
• Knows about Namjoon's one-sided love for him. But he keeps his distance from Namjoon.
• because he is afraid Namjoon will get hurt if he becomes involved in his dangerous life.
• Cold on the outside
But secretly cares about Namjoon.
Seokjin
*shrugged*... But it’s my duty to give one.
Namjoon
And it’s my right to refuse it... *replied coldly*
Namjoon
I did what you asked. Now you can leave. I have other responsibilities.
Seokjin
So what?... *said casually*
Namjoon
*eyes darkened*... Just like you asked my friend to go after your little brother… I, as his friend, will go and save him.
Seokjin
*chuckled softly*... You think you can save your friend?
Seokjin
First, you were wrong to believe everything I said.
Seokjin
Second, your friend will probably be captured by Yoongi’s men the moment he arrives in Seoul. And third…
Seokjin
*looked straight into Namjoon’s eyes*... You should forget about your friend.
In anger, Namjoon grabbed Jin by the collar and slammed him against the wall.
His eyes were burning with rage, but tears were also falling down his cheeks.
They were red and trembling. Jin studied his face carefully.
Seokjin
If you care so much about your friend… *said slowly*
Seokjin
…I think you might be in love with him.
Namjoon
*expression turned furious*... You traitor! It’s my fault for trusting you! I should never have believed you!
Seokjin
I didn’t ask you to trust me... *replied calmly*
Seokjin
But you still haven’t answered my question.
Seokjin
*smirked slightly*... Do you love that Hoseok?
Namjoon’s fist slammed into Jin’s face. Jin clearly didn’t expect that.
For a moment he looked shocked, but he quickly restrained himself from hitting back.
Namjoon
Say that one more time and I’ll break your teeth!... *shouted*
Namjoon
*Tears continued falling down his face*
Namjoon
Because of you, I put my friend in danger! And now I’m too helpless to save him!
Seokjin
*tilted his head slightly*... Who asked you to do all this for me?
Namjoon
*voice trembled*... Because I love you… and I believed you.
Seokjin
*eyes widened slightly*
Namjoon
You told me my friend would find a good love… you said he would meet a loving husband soon.
Namjoon
When you said it was your brother, I thought he would get a good life.
Namjoon
*voice broke*... But after I learned your brother is a mafia…
Namjoon
*looked down*... I realized I made a huge mistake.
Namjoon
I betrayed my friend.
Seokjin
*crossed his arms*... That’s not my fault. From what you’re saying, you made that decision on your own.
Namjoon completely lost control. He started grabbing things around the room and throwing them to the floor.
He just stood there silently, watching Namjoon destroy everything. Finally, Namjoon collapsed to his knees.
Namjoon
I hate you, Jin… with all my heart.
Seokjin
*looked at him quietly*... Thank you, Namjoon.
Namjoon fell completely to the floor, crying like a child. His body trembled as he sobbed.
*frowned slightly*... Why are you crying like a baby?
Namjoon’s voice suddenly changed — small, soft, broken.
???
N–No… one… i–it’s… Joon…
Seokjin
*eyes widened*... Namjoon?
Hoseok and Jungkook finally arrived safely in Seoul. As soon as they stepped out of the airport, both of them felt relieved after the long journey. Jungkook stretched his arms excitedly while looking around the busy airport.
Jungkook looked at Hoseok with bright eyes. He was clearly excited about being in Seoul.
Jungkook
I'm excited, hyung... *said happily*
Hoseok smiled at him, but there was still worry in his eyes.
Hoseok
But I'm worried about who will look after you when I go to work... *replied*
Jungkook
*immediately rolled his eyes*... Hyung, you're acting dramatic
Hoseok
You only say that because you don't understand... *answered calmly*
Jungkook
Then don't leave anyone to look after me... *replied confidently*
While talking, the two of them started looking for a taxi. Hoseok had already decided that they would stay in a hotel first until he found a house in Seoul.
Just then, a masked man suddenly approached them.
??? (driver)
Sir, are you looking for a taxi?... *asked politely*
Hoseok
*nodded*... Yeah. Are you a taxi driver?
??? (driver)
Yes. Come with me, I'll take you wherever you want... *replied*
Jungkook looked at the man suspiciously.
Jungkook
Where?... *asked*
Hoseok
*chuckled slightly and shook his head*
Hoseok
Jungkook, taxi drivers take us wherever we tell them...
The masked driver quietly smirked behind his mask.
💭 Yes, baby boy… but I won't take you where you want. I'll take you where I want.
Episode 2 — Mission: August D (part 2)
The two of them got inside the car.
Hoseok
Please drop us at a hotel nearby... *told the driver*
The driver simply hummed in response and started driving.
As the car moved through the streets, Hoseok casually looked outside at the city lights of Seoul. However, the driver kept glancing at him through the side mirror. Jungkook noticed it too, but he stayed quiet because he didn't want to cause trouble for Hoseok.
After a few minutes, the driver suddenly spoke again.
??? (driver)
Are you two brothers, little boy?
Jungkook
*frowned slightly*... Why do you care?... *replied coldly*
Hoseok immediately looked at him with a serious expression.
Hoseok
Jungkook... *Hoseok warned*
Jungkook sighed but stayed quiet.
Hoseok
How many times have I told you to respect elders?... *said firmly*
Jungkook
Hyung, I'm not a child. I know how to talk... *replied stubbornly*
Hoseok's expression suddenly turned dark, and the atmosphere inside the car became tense.
Hoseok
Jungkook… sit quietly... *said in a low voice*
Jungkook's heart started beating faster. Even the driver felt a strange chill in the air.
Jungkook
F-forgive me… hyung… *said nervously*
Hoseok immediately realized that Jungkook had become scared. He sighed softly.
Hoseok
I didn't mean it like that. I just said it in anger... *said gently*
Hoseok then pulled Jungkook into a warm hug.
Slowly, Jungkook calmed down in his arms. After a moment, Hoseok gave his usual bright sunshine smile, and the tense atmosphere inside the car disappeared. Jungkook laughed softly like a little rabbit who finally felt safe again.
Hoseok then turned toward the driver.
Hoseok
Sorry about that. I'll answer your question... *said politely*
??? (driver)
No problem... *driver replied*
Hoseok
We're cousins, but we act like real brothers... *explained*
The driver hummed quietly and continued driving. The ride became silent again.
However, after a few minutes, something started to feel strange.
They had already passed two hotels, but the driver didn't stop. Instead, he suddenly turned the car toward another road.
Now Hoseok started feeling suspicious.
Hoseok
Stop the cab... *said calmly*
The driver didn't respond.
Hoseok
I said stop the car... *repeated, this time more firmly*
But the driver ignored him and pressed the accelerator harder.
The car sped away from the city lights and entered a dark forest road.
Finally, the car stopped in the middle of the forest.
Before Hoseok could react, the driver suddenly opened the door, grabbed him, and threw him out of the car.
Jungkook
Hyung!... *cried out in shock*
He tried to get out of the car immediately, but Hoseok shook his head at him, silently telling him not to move.
Hoseok slowly stood up and glared at the masked man.
Hoseok
Who are you?.... *shouted angrily*
Hoseok
And why did you bring us here?
The man laughed softly and removed his mask.
??? (driver)
Enough, baby boy... *coldly*
??? (driver)
You've talked too much already.
Hoseok
*clenched his fists*...
The forest was quiet, eerily so, until Hoseok’s voice cut through the stillness.
Hoseok
TELL ME, WHO YOU ARE?!
He screamed, every ounce of fear and anger laced in his words.
??? (driver)
*A calm, chilling voice answered*
Hoseok and Jungkook’s eyes widened at the name. Yoongi—the legendary mafia leader. From the shadows, his men emerged, surrounding them. Hoseok’s gaze hardened as he stared each one down. Jungkook, however, looked on in shock. He recognized them immediately—it was Vmin.
Hoseok
I’ll kill you all if you lay a hand on my brother!
Hoseok
*growled, stepping protectively in front of Jungkook*
A smirk tugged at Yoongi’s lips.
Yoongi
Well, baby boy… let’s see. You can try to kill us, but your brother will be dead before you even get the chance.
Hoseok’s eyes never left Yoongi. His fists clenched, but he stayed silent.
Yoongi
Go ahead... *said to his men*
Yoongi
Grab his brother and stand behind me.
Without hesitation, Hoseok pushed Jungkook behind him. Jungkook’s eyes were wide with fear, and his voice barely a whisper.
Yoongi’s smirk widened. He drew his gun and aimed directly at Jungkook. Hoseok’s jaw tightened, silent fury blazing as his brother was taken. They tied Jungkook’s hands and set him behind Yoongi, just as the mafia leader had ordered.
Yoongi
Wow... *said slowly, admiration in his tone*
Yoongi
You really care for him, don’t you?
Hoseok
You don’t need that. Why did you kidnap us?... *demanded, keeping his tone steady*
Yoongi
You’re an underground police officer, sent to catch me... *replied coolly*
Hoseok
I know... *eyes never leaving Yoongi*
Hoseok
But I didn’t think you’d figure it out so soon.
Yoongi
It’s okay... *said with a hint of amusement*
Yoongi
You’re proving to be smart too… but now, you’ll have to face your punishment.
Hoseok
I’m not new to punishment...
Hoseok
*voice sharp and unwavering*... But if you want my brother to remain unharmed, you’ll have to witness my true form.
Jungkook
Hyung… what are you talking about?... *whispered, fear and confusion in his eyes*
Hoseok
*cast a quick glance at him*... Calm down, Jungkook. I know what I’m doing.”
Jimin, standing nearby, pressed a hand over Jungkook’s mouth, preventing him from speaking. Jungkook’s anger flared—not just at the situation, but at Jimin. He had never liked him in college, and now seeing this act only fueled his frustration.
Hoseok said, his voice steady and commanding, turning back to Yoongi.
Hoseok
Jungkook cannot see me suffer.
Yoongi’s lips curved into a faint smile, and he nodded. His men carried Jungkook away. Jungkook’s eyes brimmed with tears, and he glanced at Hoseok, who gave him a look that said: “Hyung will take care of everything.”
The forest seemed to hold its breath as Hoseok’s gaze never wavered from Yoongi. This was only the beginning.
Yoongi’s hand shot out, gripping Hoseok’s wrist with a strength that made him stumble. Before Hoseok could react, he was pulled hard and shoved into the car. The door slammed shut with a force that rattled the vehicle.
Hoseok sat upright, calm, unshaken. Every muscle in his body radiated control, and for some reason, that only made Yoongi’s anger flare higher.
Yoongi’s voice was low, dangerous, almost a growl.
Hoseok hesitated, searching for the right words.
Yoongi
You’ve been through punishments before.... *continued*
Yoongi
*Leaning closer*... So… tell me, how are you enjoying this one?
Hoseok
*eyes met his, steady and unafraid*... You don’t need to lecture me now. You just need to punish me yourself… I’m ready. But… my brother—
Yoongi
Nothing will happen to your brother... *interrupted sharply*
Hoseok
💭 It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have brought him. What if something happens to him?
Hoseok
*Panic twisted inside him, but he kept his face calm*
Hoseok
💭 I won’t forgive anyone… and I won’t forgive myself. What is this August going to do now?
The car roared down the darkened forest road, the tires cutting through the silence. Neither Hoseok nor Yoongi spoke. The only sound was the hum of the engine, heavy with unspoken tension.
Hoseok’s heart pounded—not with fear of himself, but with worry for Jungkook. He clenched his fists in his lap, silently vowing: 'I will protect him, no matter what.'
The journey continued, tense and quiet, every second stretching like a lifetime.
The car finally stopped in front of a mansion so grand, Hoseok felt his chest tighten. He had never seen anything like this before—so many floors, endless windows reflecting the moonlight, and gates that seemed to guard an entire kingdom.
Hoseok froze, his mouth slightly open, eyes wide. He didn’t know whether to be impressed or scared.
Yoongi, noticing the reaction, let a small, sharp smirk curl on his lips. He stepped forward, arms crossed over his chest, and stood just a few feet in front of Hoseok.
Yoongi
Have you seen enough?
Yoongi's voice was calm, but there was an edge to it that made Hoseok swallow hard.
Hoseok blinked, then tried to gather himself. He had come here expecting danger—but not this. Not a mansion that screamed power, wealth, and… control.
Yoongi turned and started walking toward the grand entrance, each step confident, deliberate. Hoseok, like a lost puppy, followed him, his eyes still darting around, drinking in every detail.
The glow from the windows, the perfectly manicured gardens, the sheer size of the place—it was overwhelming. Hoseok didn’t notice Yoongi’s amused smile as he watched him stumble slightly, captivated by the mansion’s magnificence.
Yoongi said lightly, and Hoseok hurried to catch up, trying not to seem out of place… but failing miserably.
Hoseok wandered through the mansion, his eyes wide as he took in every detail. He moved carefully, but in his distraction, he accidentally bumped into someone.
Slowly, he turned to look at Hoseok, a sharp, unreadable smirk on his face.
Yoongi
I know my house is big... *said, arms crossed*
Yoongi
but do you not understand the risk of touching me?
Hoseok
*swallowed, lowering his gaze*... I won’t touch you… not even in your dreams.
Yoongi
*smirk widened*... We’ll see about that, baby boy.
Hoseok
Don’t smirk—it’s… weird...
Hoseok muttered, tilting his head down, fidgeting with his hands, his body trembling slightly.
Yoongi
What’s weird?... *asked, intrigued*
Hoseok
*voice trembled*... It-it makes a feeling of dread… in my chest. I… I don’t know what it is… but I—I like it.
His eyes stayed cast downward, refusing to meet Yoongi’s gaze.
Yoongi leaned closer, his hand moving to Hoseok’s waist, pulling him gently toward his face. Hoseok stiffened, irritated.
He tried to push Yoongi’s hand away, but Yoongi’s grip remained firm, tugging him to the side. Hoseok froze, hand now resting lightly over Yoongi’s, unable—or unwilling—to resist. His cheek brushed against Yoongi’s as he leaned in slightly.
Yoongi’s lips moved near Hoseok’s ear, voice low and husky.
Yoongi
I know what happened to your feelings. Do you want to know?
Hoseok
Yes… *whispered, clutching Yoongi’s shirt in his knuckles*
Yoongi
Will you listen to everything I say?
Hoseok answered, knuckles tight, eyes closed, trusting and obedient like a child.
Yoongi’s smirk deepened, pleased by the sight. He leaned closer, lips brushing against Hoseok’s neck, teasing but never fully touching.
Yoongi
Who am I to you… in bed?
Yoongi
*husky voice lingered near hoseok's ear.*
Hoseok
*voice quivered*... D-Daddy…
Yoongi pulled his hand back quickly, stopping just before Hoseok’s hand touched him. Hoseok blinked, panicked for a moment, cheeks burning.
Yoongi
What happened?... *teased, voice soft*
Hoseok
*blush deepened*... I… I… that… you… touched me…
He couldn’t find the words to explain the flustered mess of feelings coursing through him.
Yoongi
*smiled, leaning back slightly*... I don’t understand what you’re saying.
Hoseok
You… you don’t act… but you’re the reason… for me…
Hoseok admitted, voice barely above a whisper, turning even redder at his own confession.
Yoongi
You’re blaming me?... *asked, amused*
Thankfully, Hoseok realized Yoongi hadn’t noticed his flushed state—or more embarrassingly, his pants.
A voice interrupted them. “Sir, I’ve prepared what you requested.”
Yoongi
*straightened to the sevent*... Good. You may go now. Everyone else should arrive tomorrow.
The servant bowed and left, and Hoseok blinked, confused. Why had Yoongi said that? He didn’t have time to think, though—Yoongi had already started walking, leaving Hoseok no choice but to follow.
Hoseok continued following Yoongi through the long hallway of the mansion. The place felt endless, every step echoing softly against the polished floors. After walking silently for a while, a question formed in Hoseok’s mind.
Hoseok
Yoongi... *finally said, breaking the silence*
Hoseok
Where do I sleep? Are you going to make me sleep in the basement?
Yoongi stopped walking and turned to look at him.
Hoseok stood there calmly, his face blank, as if he had just asked a normal question.
Yoongi
Aren’t you afraid of being there?
A small smirk appeared on Hoseok’s lips.
Hoseok
I’m used to it... *replied casually*
Hoseok
That’s usually the first punishment I get after someone finds out I’m a police officer.
Yoongi
*gaze sharpened slightly*... Then?
Hoseok
Then comes the other punishments... *said simply*
Yoongi
*tilted his head*... You say that so easily. Aren’t you scared?
Hoseok
If I were scared, I wouldn’t have come here in the first place... *replied*
Hoseok
I’d just do my job quietly—catch criminals and leave.
Yoongi stared at him silently. For a moment, it looked like he was about to say something, but a memory flashed in his mind, stopping the words before they could escape.
Hoseok
*let out a quiet breath*... Telling you all this won’t change anything anyway.
Hoseok
You’re just like the rest of them.
Yoongi
*sighed softly*... I don’t know about your past
Yoongi
*after a moment, his voice calmer now*
Yoongi
But your future… it will be better.
Hoseok
*looked away*... It won’t... *murmured*
Yoongi
💭 I want to hold your hand, I want to tell you that I’m here… that everything will be alright.
But something stopped him.
Fear that Hoseok wouldn’t accept it.
Clearing his throat slightly, Yoongi changed the subject.
Yoongi
Well… you must be tired, Go take a shower and change.
Hoseok
*blinked*... Okay… but where should I stay?
Yoongi looked at him for a moment before answering calmly.
He turned and opened a large door.
Yoongi
With me. In my room.
The moment Hoseok heard those words, his heart began beating wildly.
Heat rushed through his body, and his hands trembled slightly.
A memory from the past flickered in his mind—something he didn’t want to remember.
After the earlier chaos, Jin had somehow managed to calm Namjoon down. But it hadn’t been easy. Namjoon was in his little space, clinging to Jin’s words like a child repeating the same things again and again.
Jin liked hearing Namjoon talk like that… but the constant repetition and refusal to listen was starting to test his patience.
Seokjin
Joon, I already told you no... *said, trying to keep his voice calm*
But Namjoon only shook his head stubbornly.
Jin sighed, rubbing his temple. The tall man in front of him looked nothing like the powerful person everyone knew. Right now, Namjoon just looked small… fragile.
Still, when Namjoon ignored him again, Jin finally lost his patience.
The sound echoed softly in the room as Jin slapped Namjoon on the butt.
Namjoon immediately froze. Then his eyes filled with tears.
His lips trembled as he tried to hold back the crying, biting his lower lip. The sight was so unexpected that Jin couldn’t stop the laugh that escaped him.
Jin covered his mouth, still smiling.
Seokjin
Oh my God... *chuckled*
Seokjin
Did I make baby joon cry?
Joon
Hmmm… *whimpered, tears sliding down his cheeks*
Jin’s smile softened instantly.
Seokjin
Come here... *said gently, opening his arms*
Namjoon didn’t hesitate even for a second.
He stepped forward and wrapped his arms tightly around Jin, burying his face in Jin’s chest. Almost immediately, the tears stopped and a small smile appeared on his face.
Seeing that made Jin’s chest feel warm.
Joon
Can we cuddle in bed?... *asked softly, rubbing his eyes*
Jin blinked in confusion at first. But when he looked closer at Namjoon’s sleepy eyes, he finally understood.
Seokjin
Is Joon feeling sleepy?... *asked gently*
Joon
*nodded slowly*... Mmm…
Without saying anything more, Jin guided him toward the bed.
They both lay down, and Namjoon immediately curled closer, resting against Jin’s chest. Jin wrapped his arms around him, holding him carefully.
Namjoon had asked for it like a child seeking comfort… and Jin couldn’t refuse him.
But as Namjoon slowly drifted toward sleep, Jin’s mind was far from peaceful.
Seokjin
💭 I’m the reason for all of this…
Seokjin
*closed his eyes for a moment*
Seokjin
💭 I know Yoongi likes Hoseok… so why did I lie to him?
Seokjin
💭 Because of that lie, everything had changed.
Now Jin couldn’t even leave for Seoul like he had planned.
Seokjin
💭 I’ll see what happens tomorrow, I have to take Namjoon with me. I can’t leave him like this.
Namjoon shifted slightly in his arms.
Joon
I’m… happy that… Jinnuuu loves me… *murmured in a sleepy voice*
Seokjin
*let out a quiet sigh*
Seokjin
I don’t know, Joona... *whispered softly*
Seokjin
But I might end up hurting you.
The room fell silent again as Namjoon slowly drifted into sleep.
Jungkook’s cries echoed through the quiet house as he walked in, his steps uneven and angry. The sound irritated both Taehyung and Jimin, who were sitting in the living room. Still, neither of them spoke at first.
Taehyung simply watched him.
Jungkook had always had this effect on him. No matter how reckless or rude Jungkook acted, Taehyung found himself unable to truly get angry. A quiet, hidden crush he had carried for years kept his words locked behind his teeth.
Jimin, however, had no such restraint.
The moment Jungkook passed them, Jimin stood up sharply and grabbed his wrist, squeezing it tightly before dragging him inside.
Jungkook
Hey!... *snapped, trying to pull away*
Jungkook
Let go of my hand, b!tch.Annoying.
The insult barely left his mouth before the room went silent.
Jimin’s grip tightened, his expression darkening. Jungkook didn’t bother fighting back; he had never liked Jimin—not since their college days. The hatred between them had only grown worse over time, especially after Jimin and Taehyung became a couple.
The sharp sound cut through the room.
Jungkook’s head snapped to the side as Jimin’s palm connected with his cheek.
Jimin
How dare you call me that..
Jimin said coldly, his voice trembling with anger.
Taehyung’s voice rang out sharply.
Taehyung rarely raised his voice, which made the moment even more shocking. His eyes flickered toward Jungkook, concern flashing across his face before he tried to calm the situation.
Jimin slowly released Jungkook’s hand, though his chest was still rising and falling with anger.
For a moment, the three of them simply stared at each other.
Then Taehyung spoke again, his voice quieter this time.
Taehyung
Jungkook… you should sleep in my room tonight.
A small smirk appeared on Jungkook’s lips immediately. But Jimin’s reaction was very different.
His eyes widened in shock, and before he could stop himself, a tear slipped down his cheek. He looked at Taehyung as if he had just heard something impossible.
Taehyung noticed it instantly.
But Jimin had already turned away. Without saying a single word, he walked past them and disappeared into his room, closing the door behind him.
The silence that followed felt heavier than any argument. Taehyung stood frozen, guilt twisting inside his chest.
Jungkook, however, only watched the closed door with an unreadable expression. And the night was far from over.

Episode 3: I Was Never Just Your Friend
Jimin rushed into his room and quickly locked the door behind him.
The moment the lock clicked, his composure shattered.
He covered his mouth as tears slipped down his cheeks. His chest felt tight, heavy — like something was pressing down on him.
A knock sounded from the other side of the door.
Taehyung
Jimin?... *voice was soft but worried*
Taehyung
What happened? Why did you suddenly run away?
Jimin quickly wiped his tears and forced his voice to steady.
Jimin
I’m fine, Taehyung. I just came to the bathroom.
There was a short silence.
Taehyung
But it sounds like you were crying... *said gently*
Jimin
I’m not... *replied quickly*
Taehyung answered, though he didn’t sound convinced.
After a few seconds, Taehyung’s footsteps faded away.
Jimin slowly slid down against the door, his shoulders trembling.
He stood up after a while and walked to the bathroom. He splashed cold water on his face, staring at his reflection.
Jimin
💭 Tae has never let anyone stay in his room all these years…
Then why only Jungkook?
Jimin
*throat tightened again* 💭 Maybe Taehyung is in love with Jungkook…
Jimin
*A tear rolled down his cheek*
Jimin
Stop it, Jimin.... *whispered to himself*
Jimin
You don’t own Taehyung. He has the right to be with whoever he likes.
Even as he said those words, they hurt.
After changing into comfortable clothes, Jimin lay down on his bed. The exhaustion from crying pulled him into sleep faster than he expected.
He forgot to unlock the door. Later, Taehyung knocked again.
Taehyung
Jimin? Dinner’s ready.
Taehyung tried the handle.
A slight frown appeared on his face. Something felt strange.
He pulled out his phone and called Jimin.
Inside the room, Jimin stirred awake. His eyes were still heavy with sleep as he reached for his phone.
Jimin
📱H–Hello… *murmured softly*
On the other side, Taehyung smiled unconsciously at his sleepy voice.
Taehyung
📱Jimin… didn’t you come to eat?
For a second, Jimin’s face softened hearing Tae’s voice. But then he remembered earlier — Jungkook, the room, the tear.
Jimin
📱No. I’m not hungry... *said quietly*
Jimin
📱And why are you calling when you could just come see that I’m asleep?
Taehyung
📱I tried...But you locked the door.
Jimin
📱*eyes slowly moved toward the door*... Oh… I’m sorry. I forgot.
Jimin
📱But I don’t want food... *he added*
Taehyung
📱*sighed softly*... Okay. Call me when you’re hungry.
Jimin ended the call almost immediately. He lay back down, staring at the ceiling.
He didn’t even realize when tears began sliding from the corners of his eyes again.
And this time, there was no one knocking on the door.
Hoseok
Okay… but where should I stay?
Yoongi looked at him for a moment before answering calmly.
He turned and opened a large door.
Yoongi
With me. In my room.
The moment Hoseok heard those words, his heart began beating wildly. His eyes widened.
Heat rushed through his body, and his hands trembled slightly. A memory from the past flickered in his mind—something he didn’t want to remember.
And suddenly, the air between them felt much heavier than before.
Hoseok's heart began pounding so loudly he was sure Yoongi could hear it. His palms felt warm, slightly trembling.
Hoseok
But it wouldn’t be right for us to sleep together...
Hoseok said, though his voice betrayed the nervousness he tried to hide.
Yoongi
*lips curved into a slow smirk*... That’s exactly why you’ll do as I say.
Hoseok
*frowned*... Why should I listen to you? I’m not your slave.
Yoongi
*stepped closer*... This is my house
Yoongi
*calmly*... So listen first.
Hoseok
You’re so arrogant.
Yoongi
*chuckled softly*... I was born that way.
Hoseok
*sighed in frustration*... Fine. But if you misbehave with me, I’ll kill you.
Yoongi
*raised an eyebrow*... You didn’t kill me earlier.
Hoseok
*swallowed*... That’s… because…
Yoongi
Because you liked it?... *teased, voice lowering*
Before Hoseok could react, Yoongi gently pushed him backward. They fell onto the bed, the mattress dipping under their weight.
Hoseok’s breath caught as he realized he was underneath.
Yoongi hovered above him, close — too close.
Hoseok’s heart was racing wildly now. He could feel the heat in his cheeks, the tension in his body. He wanted to push Yoongi away… but he didn’t.
Yoongi
Even now, you can’t do anything.
Hoseok turned his head to the side, refusing to meet his eyes. Yoongi leaned down slowly, his breath brushing against Hoseok’s ear.
Yoongi
I think someone’s nervous... *whispered*
Hoseok replied, though his fingers were gripping the bedsheet tightly.
Yoongi’s lips brushed lightly near his ear — not forceful, just enough to make Hoseok shiver.
Yoongi noticed everything. The trembling. The warmth. The way Hoseok’s breath grew uneven.
Yoongi
I think someone’s flustered... *murmured teasingly*
Hoseok said, his face burning with embarrassment. He hated that his body reacted this way. Hated that Yoongi could see it.
Yoongi’s teasing expression softened slightly.
Yoongi
Don’t fight it so much... *said quietly*
Yoongi
I’m not trying to hurt you.
Hoseok’s eyes flickered toward him.
Hoseok
We just met... *whispered*... How can I trust you?
Yoongi held his gaze this time — no smirk, no teasing.
Yoongi
Maybe you can’t... *admitted*
Yoongi
But I like you. More than I planned to.
Hoseok
Really?... *asked softly*
Yoongi
*voice lowered*... If you don’t believe me… I’ll move away right now.
And for the first time since they entered the room, Yoongi gave Hoseok the choice.
Soft morning light slipped through the curtains. Hoseok stirred in his sleep, shifting slightly under the sheets. His body felt heavy, warm… unfamiliar. Slowly, he opened his eyes.
Yoongi wasn’t beside him.
Hoseok blinked, sitting up slightly. He quickly pulled the bedsheet up to his chest when he noticed he was only half-dressed. His gaze found Yoongi near the edge of the bed, searching for something on the floor.
Hoseok
Where are you going?
Hoseok asked, his voice still thick with sleep. Yoongi didn’t look at him.
Yoongi
Don’t worry about it... *replied coldly, still searching*
Hoseok
*frowned*... But… yesterday you—
Yoongi
Forget what I said yesterday.
The words landed like a slap. Hoseok’s fingers tightened around the sheet.
Yoongi finally straightened up, irritation visible on his face.
Hoseok
*eyes slowly filled with tears*... Then everything you said yesterday… was a lie?
Yoongi
*exhaled sharply*... Yeah. What now?
The indifference in his tone broke something inside Hoseok. Hoseok looked down at the floor, trying to hold back the sob rising in his throat.
Hoseok
I was wrong to trust you… then.
Before he could move away, Yoongi suddenly stepped forward, grabbing Hoseok by the collar and pushing him back onto the bed.
Yoongi
I didn’t tell you to believe me... *snapped*
Yoongi
I wasn’t in my right state.
Hoseok didn’t fight back. He just looked up at Yoongi through blurred vision, silent tears sliding down his cheeks.
There was pain in his eyes — not anger. Not hatred. Just hurt. For a second, Yoongi’s expression flickered.
Then he let go abruptly and turned away. Without another word, he walked out and slammed the door shut.
The room fell into heavy silence. Hoseok covered his face with both hands as the sobs finally escaped him.
Hoseok
I thought… his words were real... *whispered himself brokenly*
Hoseok
But they were all lies.
Hoseok
*chest tightened painfully*... Hoseok… why are you like this?
Hoseok
*muttered to himself between tears*... You don’t even know who he is… but you let him get this close to you.
The morning sunlight no longer felt warm. It felt cold.
And for the first time since meeting Yoongi, Hoseok felt completely alone.
The grand hall felt too large. Too cold.
Hoseok stood near the center of the marble floor, staring at nothing. His mind wasn’t in the present — it was trapped in last night.
Every word.
Every touch.
Every promise.
It kept replaying.
yoongi's maid (Minjae)
Mister… you need to eat... *one of the maids said gently*
Hoseok
I don’t need anything... *replied sharply, irritation clear in his voice*
yoongi's maid (Minjae)
*maid stepped forward carefully*... At least drink this milk, sir. You haven’t eaten since morning.
Hoseok
I said no... *snapped*
Hoseok
Why are you forcing me?
yoongi's maid (Minjae)
*maid lowered his head*... Yoongi sir will be angry if he finds out you didn’t eat.
Hoseok
Yoongi. Yoongi. Yoongi… *let out a bitter laugh*
Hoseok
He ruined my life. Why does he suddenly care whether I eat or not? I don’t care.
yoongi's maid (Minjae)
Sir—
Before she could finish, Hoseok knocked the glass from her hands.
It shattered against the floor, white milk spreading across the polished marble.
The maids immediately bent down to clean it without another word.
Hoseok’s chest rose and fell heavily. Then footsteps echoed from the entrance.
He stopped when he saw the broken glass. His jaw tightened.
Yoongi
Who did this?... *demanded coldly*
Yoongi
You know I don’t tolerate mess in my house.
yoongi's maid (Minjae)
*maid hesitated*...It’s si—
The sound echoed sharply. Hoseok froze in shock as Yoongi’s hand struck the maid across his cheek.
Yoongi
I asked who did it... *said harshly*
The maid’s eyes filled with tears. Something inside Hoseok snapped.
He stormed forward and grabbed Yoongi by the collar of his shirt. His eyes were red — not from anger alone, but from pain.
Hoseok
Why did you hit him?... *shouted*
Hoseok
I broke it. I’m the one who made the mess.
Hoseok
*voice cracked*... You punish them for dirtying your floor… but what about my life? You stained it. And nothing can clean that.
Hoseok
*Tears streamed down his face now*... You’re a liar.
Hoseok
You say words people want to hear, and then you throw them away like they mean nothing.
Before he could say more—
Yoongi struck him across the cheek. Hoseok stumbled slightly, holding his face.
Yoongi
This is my house... *coldly*
Yoongi
Don’t raise your voice at me. You’re here because I allow it. So behave like it.
Hoseok
*looked at him through tears*... You took something from me
Hoseok
*whispered*... Because I believed you… because you said you loved me.
Yoongi’s expression didn’t soften.
Yoongi
What changed now?... *replied flatly*
Yoongi
I’ve said that word to many people.
The words shattered whatever was left inside Hoseok. He slowly sank to the floor. The grand hall, with its high ceilings and expensive chandeliers, suddenly felt suffocating.
Hoseok
I want my brother... *muttered weakly*
Hoseok
*forced himself to stand and wiped his tears*... Give me my brother. I’m leaving.
Yoongi stepped forward and grabbed Hoseok by the hair, pulling him back harshly.
Yoongi
You’re not going anywhere... *growled*
Yoongi
I didn’t bring you here as a guest.
Yoongi
*shoved him backward*... You stay because I say so.
Footsteps rushed down the stairs.
yoongi's maid #2
Yoongi sir! The police are here. They’re looking for you...*The maid cried*
Yoongi’s expression changed instantly. Calm. Unreadable.
Yoongi
Okay... *said quietly*
Hoseok slowly pushed himself up from the floor, wiping his face.
Yoongi
*looked at him coldly*... What can you possibly do?
Hoseok’s eyes sharpened for the first time since morning.
Hoseok
Have they seen your face clearly?
Yoongi
*narrowed his eyes*... And?
Hoseok
They’re here because they suspect you... *replied steadily*
Hoseok
If you walk out like this, you confirm it.
Hoseok
Come with me... *said firmly*
Hoseok
Let me talk to them.
For the first time… Yoongi didn’t interrupt. And the power in the room shifted — just slightly.
The room was painted in a soft blush pink — not too bright, not too pale. The curtains were light cream with tiny embroidered stars. A bookshelf stood near the window, filled with art supplies, small plush toys, and framed photos.
And everywhere Jin looked… he saw pieces of himself.
His favorite color.
His favorite snacks stacked neatly on the desk.
Even a small plush whale he once said he liked — sitting proudly on Namjoon’s pillow.
Jin’s chest tightened. Namjoon was still asleep, curled slightly under the blanket, hair messy across his forehead.
Jin walked closer, carrying a tray of warm food. He gently sat on the edge of the bed and reached out, softly ruffling Namjoon’s hair.
Seokjin
Joon… wake up... *whispered warmly*
Seokjin
Jinuu brought you food… Joonie…
Namjoon’s eyes slowly fluttered open. Sleepy. Soft. Vulnerable. He smiled faintly when he saw Jin.
Joon
GoOd murning… Jinuu… *mumbled, voice small and childlike*
Jin couldn’t help but smile at the sleepy expression and the way Namjoon’s cheeks were slightly puffed from sleep.
Seokjin
Good morning, joona. Sit up. You need to eat before it gets cold.
Joon
*rubbed his eyes*... Jinuu… I relly like Jinuu’s coking.
(i really like jinuu's cooking)
Seokjin
*chuckled softly*... Then hurry and wash up.
Namjoon obediently walked to the bathroom, still half sleepy. While waiting, Jin looked around the room again.
His fingers brushed over a framed photo of the two of them.
Seokjin
💭 He keeps all my favorite things here… Even the toys I once joked about… He painted his room in my favorite color…
Seokjin
💭 *lips curved into a soft smile*... How am I supposed to leave him… when he does all this?
Namjoon came out of the bathroom, hair damp, wearing soft home clothes. He sat down and began eating quietly.
Jin answered, stepping slightly aside while Namjoon ate.
Seokjin
📱Yes, yes… I understand… I’ll come later…
Even after Namjoon finished eating, Jin was still on the call. Namjoon stared at him quietly.
The small smile he had earlier slowly faded.
Joon
Jinuu… *called softly*
Jin immediately turned, hearing the tone in his voice. He ended the call quickly and walked over, ruffling Namjoon’s hair again.
Namjoon gave a shy smile for a second — but it disappeared just as fast. Jin noticed.
Seokjin
What happened, baby boy?... *asked gently*
Joon
*lowered his eyes*... Jinuu has a lat of wok… Joon is jut a buRdn…
(jinuu has a lot of work... Joon is just a burden)
Seokjin
*expression softened instantly, cupped Namjoon’s cheek carefully*
Seokjin
You are not a burden... *said firmly but gently*
Seokjin
Don’t ever say that again.
Namjoon looked up at him with unsure eyes.
Seokjin
Yes, I have work, But the first thing I have to do… is take care of Joon.
His thumb brushed lightly over Namjoon’s cheek.
Seokjin
You come before everything.
Joon
*eyes became glossy*... Rely…? (really)
Seokjin
Really... *smiled*... Now tell me… should we both go to my house today?
Joon
*hesitated*.... If Jin go… Joon will go.
(if jin goes... Joon will go.)
Seokjin
*laughed softly and pulled him into a gentle hug*.... Then we’ll go together.
In the soft pink room, under the warm morning light, Namjoon held onto Jin like a child afraid of being left behind.
And Jin held him back — like someone who had already decided he wasn’t going anywhere.
Soft morning light slipped through the curtains, spreading gently across the wooden floor and the edge of the bed.
Taehyung’s eyes were already open. He wasn’t asleep. Beside him, Jungkook was still resting peacefully, one arm lazily thrown over the blanket.
Taehyung slowly sat up, running a hand through his messy hair. His chest felt heavy. Jimin’s tearful face from last night wouldn’t leave his mind.
That one tear. That silence. That locked door. He let out a quiet sigh. Behind him, Jungkook shifted slightly and blinked his eyes open.
Jungkook
Hyung… *mumbled in a sleepy voice*
Jungkook
What happened? Aren’t you sleeping?
Taehyung
*didn’t turn around*... You sleep... *replied softly*... I can’t.
Jungkook rubbed his eyes and slowly sat up, studying Taehyung’s back carefully. There was something different in his posture. Something distant.
Jungkook
I don’t know if this is the right thing to ask… *said quietly*
Jungkook
But… are you thinking about Jimin hyung?
Silence filled the room. Taehyung’s fingers tightened slightly over the bedsheet.
Jungkook
If you don’t want to say it, don’t say it... *added quickly*
Taehyung
*let out a deep sigh*... Get ready...
Taehyung
*after a moment, his voice calm but unreadable*... I’m coming now.
Without explaining anything, he stood up and walked toward the door. Jungkook watched him leave, his expression slowly changing. The door clicked shut. Jungkook leaned back slightly and exhaled.
Jungkook
…So it’s still him... *murmured under his breath*
After a few seconds, he got up and walked into the bathroom, the sound of running water filling the quiet room. But even inside the bathroom… His thoughts weren’t calm either.
Taehyung walked into the hall, planning to knock on Jimin’s door and talk to him. But Jimin was already there. He was sitting on the couch, staring at nothing.
Taehyung paused for a second before walking over and sitting beside him. The moment he sat down, Jimin shifted slightly away. That small movement hurt more than Taehyung expected.
Taehyung
*sighed*... Jimin… what happened to you? Why are you acting like this?
Jimin
*didn’t look at him and he replied quietly*... I’m always like this, You’re the one who changed.
Taehyung
*frowned*... What do you mean I changed?
Jimin
*finally turned to look at him, eyes tired*... I know Jungkook is your crush. But for that… you let him sleep in your room?
Taehyung
Jimin—I wanted him to sleep with me, That’s all... *admitted honestly*
Jimin
*let out a small, painful laugh*... I know why. You’re seeing him again after so many years. So no offense… I’m just the stupid friend who was always beside you. Easy to use when you need comfort.
Taehyung
*expression hardened*... When did I ever use you?
Jimin
*eyes widened — anger mixing with tears*... Don’t pretend, Tae. A month ago you were drunk. You said you needed me. You said you couldn’t control yourself.
Jimin
*voice trembled*... I couldn’t refuse you. We both crossed the line that night.
Jimin
And the next morning? You acted like nothing happened... *said softly*
Taehyung
Jimin… *whispered*... I’m sorry. I only ever saw you as my friend.
That sentence broke something. Jimin stood up abruptly.
Jimin
Oh. Okay... *said with a bitter smile*
Jimin
Then stay with your crush. I’m leaving.
Taehyung immediately grabbed his wrist, panic flashing in his eyes.
Taehyung
Jimin, what are you talking about? We’ve been together for years.
Jimin
*pulled his hand away*... Not anymore. I never saw you as just a friend, Tae.
Jimin
*voice softened, but it hurt more*... So you and Jungkook love each other. Be happy.
He walked away, leaving Taehyung frozen on the couch.
After a while, Jimin returned. This time with luggage. Taehyung rushed forward, blocking his path.
Taehyung
Jimin… I thought you were just angry. We’ve fought before. Why are you leaving now?
Jimin
*smiled — but it didn’t reach his eyes*... I was different then. I’m different now.
Taehyung
Don’t go... *said quietly, his voice breaking*
Jimin
I’m not disappearing... *replied softly*
Jimin
Wherever I am… I’ll still think about you.
Taehyung
At least tell me where you’re going.
Jimin
If I tell you, you’ll come looking for me... *said gently*
Jimin
I’ll come back when I feel like it.
Taehyung
Jiminie… please... *eyes filled with tears*
Jimin
*looked at him one last time*... I’ll take care of your baby.
Jimin’s expression didn’t change. And the silence that followed felt heavier than everything they had just said.
