SUPERPOWER VOLUME 1 - RISE OF CHAOS

Superpower Part 1 The Awakening

SUPERPOWER – PART 1: THE AWAKENING

Location: Earth, near future.

A world that looks normal… but isn’t.

Cars move. Cities glow. People laugh.

But beneath this normal life…

Something is changing.

Something ancient is waking up.

THE WORLD

Scientists called it The Surge.

One night, a strange cosmic storm passed over the planet.

No thunder.

No lightning.

Just a silent wave of energy spreading across the Earth.

And the next morning…

People began to change.

Some could move objects without touching them.

Some could run faster than cars.

Some could control fire, wind… even shadows.

The world had entered a new age.

The age of Superpowers.

Some used them to protect.

Others used them to dominate.

Governments feared it.

Cities prepared for chaos.

Because one truth became clear:

Power doesn’t change people.

It reveals who they truly are.

In a quiet town lived two boys who had been friends since childhood.

Tony and Loki.

They studied together.

Played football together.

Got into trouble together.

If one fought, the other stood beside him.

People used to say:

“They’re like brothers.”

They believed their future would always be the same.

They were wrong.

THE THIRD FRIEND

There was also someone else.

A girl who knew them better than anyone.

Sadie Sink.

Smart. Brave.

The one who always stopped Tony and Loki from doing something stupid.

Sadie (laughing):

“If you two ever rule the world, I’m moving to another planet.”

Tony grins.

Loki smirks.

At that moment…

None of them knew the world was about to change forever.

THE NIGHT EVERYTHING CHANGED

The sky turns strange.

Clouds swirl.

Energy spreads across the air like invisible lightning.

Tony suddenly falls to his knees.

Electric sparks flicker around his hands.

Loki grabs his head.

Dark shadows crawl across the ground.

Sadie watches in shock.

The power has chosen them.

Three lives.

Three destinies.

And from this moment on…

The world will never be the same.

This is just the beginning of a much bigger story. The world of SUPERPOWER is entering a new era where ordinary people suddenly gain extraordinary abilities. But power is not just about strength—it’s about the choices people make with it.

Tony, Loki, and Sadie have only taken their first step into this new world. Their powers have awakened, but their true destinies are still unknown. As the story continues, friendships will be tested, secrets will be revealed, and the line between hero and villain may become harder to see.

Power doesn’t change people… it reveals who they truly are.

Part 2 The first choice

SUPERPOWER – PART 2: THE FIRST CHOICE

Written by Kingson

Location: Tony’s Town. Late Evening.

The world had already begun to change.

News channels talked about strange incidents every day.

People lifting cars.

Lightning striking without storms.

Shadows moving on their own.

Everyone called it one thing now:

The Age of Superpowers.

Some people became heroes.

Some became criminals.

And some… didn’t know what to become.

But for Tony, Loki, and Sadie, the truth had become impossible to ignore.

Because the power had chosen them.

AFTER THE AWAKENING

Three days had passed since the strange night.

Tony stood alone on the rooftop of an old building.

The wind blew softly across the city.

He slowly raised his hand.

CRACK—

A small bolt of lightning jumped between his fingers.

Tony stared at it in disbelief.

Tony (whispering):

“So… this is real.”

His power wasn’t just electricity.

It was something more.

A strange mix of light and thunder.

Energy moved around him like it was alive.

Behind him, footsteps approached.

It was Loki.

But Loki looked different now.

His eyes seemed colder.

And the shadows around him felt… heavier.

Loki leaned against the wall.

Loki (smirking):

“So… looks like we’re not normal anymore.”

Tony laughed nervously.

Tony:

“Yeah… I guess not.”

For a moment, the two friends simply stared at the city lights.

Just like they had done hundreds of times before.

But tonight felt different.

Tonight, the world was bigger.

And more dangerous.

SADIE ARRIVES

The rooftop door suddenly slammed open.

Sadie rushed in, slightly out of breath.

Sadie:

“I’ve been looking everywhere for you two!”

Tony scratched the back of his head.

Tony:

“Relax… we were just talking.”

Sadie crossed her arms.

Sadie:

“Talking? Tony, lightning literally exploded in your room yesterday!”

Tony looked embarrassed.

Loki chuckled quietly.

Sadie turned toward Loki.

Sadie:

“And you… the shadows in the hallway started moving when you walked past them!”

Loki shrugged casually.

Loki:

“What can I say? Darkness likes me.”

But Sadie’s face wasn’t amused.

Sadie:

“This isn’t a joke anymore. People with powers are causing chaos everywhere.”

Tony looked at his glowing hands again.

For the first time…

He understood the weight of what he had.

THE QUESTION

Loki suddenly spoke.

His voice was calm… but serious.

Loki:

“So tell me, Tony.”

Tony looked at him.

Loki continued.

Loki:

“Now that we have these powers…”

He spread his arms slightly, shadows stretching along the rooftop floor.

Loki:

“What are you going to do with them?”

The wind grew stronger.

Tony looked out at the city.

Cars moved below.

People walked the streets.

Completely unaware that the future of their world might depend on choices made tonight.

Tony closed his fist.

Lightning flashed around his hand.

Tony spoke slowly.

Tony:

“With great power…”

He paused.

Tony:

“…comes great responsibility.”

Sadie looked at him, surprised.

Tony continued.

Tony:

“If we have these abilities… then we should use them to help people.”

His eyes were determined.

Tony:

“I’m going to protect this world.”

Silence fell.

Then Loki started laughing.

Not loudly.

But coldly.

A DIFFERENT BELIEF

Loki stepped forward.

The shadows around him twisted like living smoke.

Loki:

“Protect the world?”

He shook his head.

Loki:

“You’re still naive, Tony.”

Sadie frowned.

Sadie:

“What do you mean?”

Loki looked toward the city.

His voice turned darker.

Loki:

“This world doesn’t deserve protection.”

Tony stared at him.

Loki continued.

Loki:

“People lie… betray… destroy each other every day.”

His shadows spread across the rooftop floor.

Loki:

“They pretend to be good.”

He looked directly at Tony.

Loki:

“But they don’t know what real pain is.”

The darkness around him pulsed.

Loki:

“I’ll show them.”

Sadie’s eyes widened.

Sadie:

“Loki… stop. That’s not who you are.”

But Loki didn’t look convinced.

Tony stepped forward.

Tony:

“You’re talking like a villain.”

Loki smiled.

A slow, dangerous smile.

Loki:

“Maybe villains are the only honest people left.”

The sky rumbled softly above them.

Light and darkness stood face to face.

Once they were friends.

Now…

Their paths were beginning to separate.

ENDING SCENE

Tony’s lightning crackled in the air.

Loki’s darkness swallowed the shadows around him.

Sadie stood between them, afraid of what was coming next.

Three friends.

Three different destinies.

And tonight…

The first line between Hero and Villain had been drawn.

Part 3 The shadow of the past

SUPERPOWER – PART 3: THE SHADOW OF THE PAST

Written by Kingson

Location: The City Rooftop. Midnight.

The wind howled across the buildings.

Lightning flickered faintly around Tony’s hands, bright and powerful.

Opposite him stood Loki.

The shadows around Loki stretched unnaturally across the rooftop floor, like living creatures waiting for a command.

Between them stood Sadie, her heart racing.

Three friends.

But the distance between them had never felt this large.

Sadie (worried):

“Loki… listen to yourself. This isn’t you.”

Loki didn’t answer.

Instead, he looked down at the dark city streets.

For a moment, his face looked… tired.

Not evil.

Just broken.

Tony stepped closer.

Tony:

“You’re angry. I get that. But hurting the world won’t fix anything.”

Loki slowly turned toward him.

His eyes were colder than before.

Loki:

“You still don’t understand.”

The shadows around him pulsed.

Loki:

“You think this world deserves saving.”

He laughed quietly.

Loki:

“I’ve already seen its true face.”

THE MEMORY

The rooftop suddenly grew darker.

The shadows around Loki spread across the ground… forming images.

Tony frowned.

Sadie whispered.

Sadie:

“Is he… showing us something?”

The darkness formed a memory.

A small house.

Rain falling outside.

A six-year-old boy sitting at a table, drawing with crayons.

Young Loki.

Inside the house, his mother smiled while cooking dinner.

She looked tired… but kind.

Young Loki ran up to her.

Young Loki:

“Mom! Look what I drew!”

She knelt beside him, brushing his hair.

Mom (smiling):

“It’s beautiful, Loki.”

For that moment…

Everything felt safe.

Everything felt normal.

THE NIGHT EVERYTHING BROKE

The door suddenly burst open.

A stranger stepped inside.

Angry. Drunk. Dangerous.

Young Loki froze.

His mother quickly stepped in front of him.

Mom:

“Please… leave.”

But the man didn’t listen.

The shadows trembled.

Tony clenched his fists.

Sadie covered her mouth.

The memory blurred slightly — Loki’s powers refusing to show every detail.

But the pain was clear.

The man attacked.

Young Loki screamed.

He watched helplessly as the person he loved most was hurt.

The room filled with chaos.

Fear.

And silence.

When it was over…

His mother lay on the floor.

Not moving.

The rain outside kept falling.

THE WORST PART

The memory changed again.

Police lights flashed outside the house.

Neighbours gathered in small groups.

But instead of comfort…

They whispered.

Neighbor 1:

“Maybe she had problems…”

Neighbor 2:

“I heard she was seeing someone…”

Neighbor 3:

“Who knows what really happened?”

Tony’s eyes widened.

Sadie shook her head.

Sadie:

“That’s horrible…”

Young Loki stood at the doorway, hearing everything.

His small hands trembled.

Nobody defended his mother.

Nobody cared about the truth.

They only cared about rumors.

That night…

A child didn’t just lose his mother.

He lost his faith in people.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

The memory faded.

The rooftop returned.

Loki stood silently, his eyes glowing faintly with darkness.

Tony looked stunned.

Tony:

“Loki… I didn’t know…”

Sadie’s voice trembled.

Sadie:

“You went through all that alone?”

Loki shrugged.

But the pain in his eyes betrayed him.

Loki:

“That’s the world you want to protect, Tony.”

He gestured toward the city.

Loki:

“A world that destroys people… and then blames the victims.”

The shadows around him grew stronger.

Loki:

“I was six years old.”

His voice dropped.

Loki:

“And that night, I learned something important.”

The darkness rose like a storm.

Loki:

“There are no heroes.”

Tony stepped forward, lightning crackling.

Tony:

“You’re wrong.”

Loki looked at him.

Tony’s eyes were determined.

Tony:

“With great power comes great responsibility.”

Lightning flashed brighter.

Tony:

“And I’m not going to let the world fall into darkness just because it hurt you.”

Silence filled the rooftop.

Then Loki smiled.

A sad… dangerous smile.

Loki:

“Then stop me.”

Thunder rumbled in the sky.

Light and darkness clashed in the air between them.

Sadie stood frozen between two friends who were about to become enemies.

One believed the world deserved hope.

The other believed the world deserved pain.

And tonight…

The first battle between Light and Darkness was about to begin.

✨ A/N from Kingson Das ✨

Hey everyone! 👋

Part 3 dives into the heart of Loki—his past, his pain, and why he’s standing on the edge between darkness and friendship. 💀⚡

This chapter shows that villains aren’t born; they’re shaped by the world and the choices made for them—or against them. Loki’s childhood, his loss, and the way people treated him created the shadows he now commands.

Tony stands firm in hope and responsibility. Sadie is caught in the middle, the bridge between light and darkness. And now… the first real clash is coming. ⚡🌑

This isn’t just a battle of powers. It’s a battle of ideals, emotions, and the scars we carry. The question is: can friendship survive trauma? Can hope survive doubt?

Next part promises action, moral dilemmas, and the choices that will define these three friends’ destinies.

Stay ready—this is only the beginning of the Age of Superpowers. 🌌
