Demons vanished but I'm their place came things called anomalies. Anomalies are spectral beings that linger in the living world. They originate from negative emotions left by the dead. Both demons, animals and people. They're harder to kill and require a stable mind however they're more rare and can't multiply themselves (the way demons do). Enough about that. So after the great sunrise battle with Muzan, the Corps retired. Most of the inexperienced and novice slayers were relocated to Mount Fujikisane. However it's not a completely safe location, anomalies appear more here. Aah, so much to explain. I'll explain bit by bit as it happens.

*Tries another sneak attack*

They battle and clash against each other for a straight whole hour. Each one adding unfiltered and raw killing intent into each thrust, each slash, each twist. And rest thereafter until it's sunset. And head to the base of the mountain.

In the Anomaly Corps, 3 main types of anomalies had been identified as of late. These are Strength-type, Speed-type and Blood-type. They designed the course to favour each of the mentioned types. Slimming the chances of winning and...staying alive during the course. Iye and Nazumi's siblings are the invigilators of Nazumi's Trial. They can choose to stop and save her if they deem that she can't make it. However there's a rule that they should observe from afar. Because of this, there's some time between getting there and saving her. Nazumi arrives at a deep pit. Hears a rumbling within the Earth.

*Grunts and roars at her, moves slowly trying to crushed her*
