The rain tapped gently against Alisa’s window as she lay on her bed, phone in hand. The final episode of her favorite anime had just ended, but one character kept lingering in her thoughts.
The villain.
With a small frown, she calls Maya

Finally. Did the hero beat Adrian?📱

*rolling her eyes*
Yeah… but honestly he wasn’t that evil.📱

Alisa sighed and glanced toward the dark TV across the room.
Suddenly the screen flickered.
Her eyebrows pulled together in confusion.

The light in the room flickered again. The static on the screen twisted strangely, like shadows moving behind the glass.

Suddenly the screen flashed.
CRACK.
A bright line of light spread across the television like broken glass.

Before she could react—
Someone stepped out.
A tall man in a dark coat appeared in the middle of her room.
Alisa froze, her phone still clutched tightly in her hand.

Maya.
There’s a man in my room.
*staring in disbelief*
He looks exactly like Adrian.📱
The man slowly turned his head and looked directly at her.
His sharp eyes were calm, almost curious.
Alisa felt a chill run down her spine.
Then he spoke.
“Are you the one who understood?”
Her fingers trembled slightly as she cut the call and typed a message.

Maya.
I think the anime villain just came out of my TV.
