Mafia King's Broken Angel

The Heart of the Empire

The world feared the mafia empire ruled by BTS.

Six ruthless kings controlled cities, governments, and entire criminal networks. Their enemies whispered their names in terror, knowing that once they were targeted, there was no escape.

But inside the walls of their massive mansion, there was one person who softened even the coldest hearts.

Kim Taehyung.

Taehyung wasn’t the strongest fighter or the most dangerous strategist. Yet somehow, he was the one person everyone trusted the most.

If someone got injured during a mission, Taehyung was the first to run to them.

If arguments broke out between the members, he was the one who calmed them down.

If the long nights of bloodshed and violence became too heavy, Taehyung was the one who reminded them they were still human.

He was the heart of the empire.

And everyone knew it.

“Taehyung!”

The loud voice echoed through the mansion halls.

Taehyung looked up from the files he was organizing in the office and sighed softly.

“Coming!” he replied.

When he stepped into the living room, chaos immediately greeted him.

The members were arguing again.

One insisted a mission should happen tonight, another said it was too risky, while someone else looked ready to flip the table.

Taehyung rubbed his temples.

This was normal.

Very normal.

“Okay, stop,” he said calmly.

The room fell silent almost instantly.

Six pairs of eyes turned toward him.

Taehyung walked closer, gently placing the files on the table.

“You’re all yelling, but none of you are actually listening,” he said with a small smile.

A few seconds later, the tension in the room slowly disappeared.

It always happened like this.

No matter how dangerous or powerful the mafia kings were, they always listened to Taehyung.

Because he never lied to them.

Because he always protected them.

Because they trusted him more than anyone else in the world.

Taehyung picked up one of the mission files and flipped through it.

“This mission can wait two days,” he said after a moment. “Our information isn’t complete yet. If you go now, it’ll only increase the risk.”

Silence filled the room again.

Then one of them leaned back with a sigh.

“Fine,” he muttered.

Another nodded in agreement.

Just like that, the argument ended.

Taehyung smiled softly.

Moments like this made him feel peaceful.

He loved being here.

He loved being with them.

Even if the world saw them as monsters, Taehyung knew the truth.

They were his family.

And he would do anything to protect them.

Anything.

What Taehyung didn’t know…

Was that somewhere far away, hidden in the shadows, someone was watching him carefully.

A pair of cold eyes stared at a photograph of Taehyung on a screen.

“Interesting,” the mysterious voice murmured.

“Looks like we’ve found the weak point of the mafia kings.”

The man leaned back slowly, a cruel smile spreading across his face.

“Prepare the plan.”

“Soon… their precious angel will become their greatest enemy.”

The Most Trusted One

Morning sunlight slowly filled the enormous dining hall of the mafia mansion.

For a place that belonged to the most feared criminal empire in the world, the atmosphere inside the mansion was strangely peaceful.

That peace, however, only existed because of one person.

Kim Taehyung.

Taehyung walked into the dining room carrying a tray of coffee cups, carefully placing them on the large table one by one. He didn’t even need to ask who wanted what.

He already knew.

Black coffee for Yoongi.

Extra sugar for Jimin.

A strong espresso for Namjoon.

Jin preferred tea in the morning.

Hoseok liked something sweet.

And Jungkook usually grabbed whatever Taehyung handed him.

“Taehyung!”

The loud voice made him look up.

Kim Seokjin was standing near the kitchen doorway with his arms crossed.

“Why are you doing this again?” Jin asked with a dramatic sigh.

Taehyung blinked innocently. “Doing what?”

“This,” Jin said, gesturing toward the tray. “You’re not our butler.”

Before Taehyung could answer, another voice joined in.

“You kind of act like one.”

Min Yoongi was already sitting at the table, lazily scrolling through something on his tablet.

Taehyung chuckled softly.

“Well, someone has to take care of you all,” he said.

Across the room, Jungkook entered while stretching his arms above his head.

“Hyung, if you stop making coffee for them, maybe they’ll finally learn how to do it themselves.”

“Hey!” Jimin protested immediately, grabbing his cup. “Don’t ruin a good thing.”

Hoseok laughed loudly, leaning back in his chair.

“Honestly, if Taehyung ever leaves us, this mansion will fall apart within a week.”

Namjoon nodded seriously.

“That’s probably true.”

Taehyung shook his head, trying not to laugh.

Moments like this felt warm and normal, almost like they weren’t the rulers of a dangerous mafia empire.

But the peaceful atmosphere didn’t last long.

Soon the table filled with mission reports, phones, and tablets.

Namjoon, the leader, started discussing an important shipment that had mysteriously been delayed.

Yoongi mentioned a suspicious deal that had suddenly fallen through the night before.

Jimin talked about unusual movements from smaller gangs in their territory.

Within minutes, the calm breakfast turned into a heated discussion.

“Someone is interfering with our operations,” Namjoon said seriously.

“Then we crush them,” Jungkook replied without hesitation.

Yoongi looked unconvinced. “It’s not that simple.”

Voices began overlapping again.

Arguments started building.

Taehyung watched quietly for a while before gently tapping his spoon against the table.

The small sound instantly made everyone stop talking.

Six pairs of eyes turned toward him.

Taehyung stood up and walked toward the large screen on the wall.

“Wait,” he said calmly. “You’re all talking about different problems, but they’re connected.”

Namjoon frowned slightly. “Connected how?”

Taehyung quickly pulled several files onto the screen.

A map appeared.

Then transaction reports.

Then security footage from a warehouse.

“These incidents all involve the same group,” Taehyung explained.

Jungkook leaned forward. “Which group?”

Taehyung hesitated for a brief moment before saying the name of a mysterious underground organization that had recently appeared in criminal circles.

The room became quiet.

No one had taken that organization seriously before.

Namjoon crossed his arms, thinking carefully.

“You believe they’re testing us?”

Taehyung nodded slowly.

“They’re watching our reactions.”

Yoongi looked annoyed. “Then we should strike first.”

But Taehyung shook his head.

“Not yet.”

Everyone looked at him again.

“We don’t know enough about them,” Taehyung continued. “If we attack blindly, we might fall into their trap.”

A long silence followed.

Finally Hoseok sighed.

“So what do you suggest?”

Taehyung glanced back at the screen.

“We gather information first,” he said. “Let me handle it.”

Namjoon studied Taehyung for a moment.

Then he nodded.

“Alright. I trust you.”

No one argued.

Because everyone in the room knew the same truth.

If Kim Taehyung was involved, things would always be handled perfectly.

What none of them knew…

Was that somewhere far away, hidden behind layers of encrypted networks, someone was watching the meeting through hacked cameras.

A cold smile slowly appeared on the mysterious man’s face.

“So that’s Kim Taehyung,” he murmured.

Multiple photos of Taehyung appeared across the monitors.

“Interesting.”

The man leaned back in his chair.

“If we break him…”

“Those mafia kings will collapse.”

And with that thought, the first step of a dangerous plan quietly began.

Hidden Threats

Night had slowly fallen over the massive mansion that served as the headquarters of the most feared mafia empire in the world.

Outside, the city lights shimmered beneath the dark sky, unaware of the power that existed within those towering walls.

Inside the mansion, however, most lights were already dim.

Long meetings, negotiations, and missions had finally come to an end for the day.

Most of the members had gone to rest.

But Kim Taehyung was still awake.

He sat alone in the large study room, surrounded by glowing screens, documents, and scattered files. The soft blue light from the monitors reflected in his tired eyes as he carefully examined every piece of information he had collected.

Something wasn’t right.

The mysterious organization he had mentioned earlier kept appearing in different places connected to their operations.

But strangely…

There were almost no records about them.

No leader.

No official name.

No clear structure.

It was like chasing a shadow.

Taehyung leaned back in his chair and rubbed his eyes, letting out a quiet sigh.

“Who are you people…?” he murmured to himself.

Just then, the door creaked open slightly.

Taehyung looked up to see Jeon Jungkook walking inside, his hair slightly messy as if he had just woken up.

“Hyung,” Jungkook said quietly, leaning against the doorway. “You’re still working?”

Taehyung gave a small smile.

“Someone has to make sure you don’t accidentally start a war tomorrow.”

Jungkook scoffed.

“Starting wars is Namjoon hyung’s job.”

Taehyung chuckled softly.

Jungkook walked further into the room and glanced at the screens filled with maps and reports.

“You’ve been staring at this stuff all night?”

“Almost,” Taehyung admitted.

Jungkook frowned slightly.

“You’re overworking again.”

Taehyung shook his head.

“It’s nothing.”

But Jungkook wasn’t convinced.

He had known Taehyung long enough to recognize when something was bothering him.

“You think that organization is really dangerous?” Jungkook asked after a moment.

Taehyung hesitated.

Then he nodded slowly.

“They’re too careful,” he said. “Groups like this don’t hide unless they’re planning something big.”

Jungkook crossed his arms.

“Then we’ll deal with them.”

Taehyung smiled faintly but didn’t reply.

After a few minutes, Jungkook finally left the room, telling Taehyung to sleep soon.

The study room became silent again.

Taehyung turned back to the screens.

What he didn’t know…

Was that at that exact moment, someone else was watching him.

Far away in a hidden underground control room, dozens of monitors displayed different camera feeds.

One of them showed the exact study room Taehyung was sitting in.

The mysterious man leaned forward in his chair, studying Taehyung’s face carefully.

“So diligent,” he murmured.

Several people stood behind him, waiting for instructions.

One of them spoke.

“Sir, our infiltration of their security system is complete.”

The man smiled slightly.

“Good.”

He tapped the screen showing Taehyung.

“That one.”

“Their weakest point.”

One of the subordinates looked confused.

“But sir… he doesn’t appear to be the leader.”

“He isn’t,” the man replied calmly.

“But he’s the one holding them together.”

The man’s smile slowly turned colder.

“If we destroy him…”

“The entire empire will collapse.”

He leaned back in his chair and clasped his hands together.

“Begin phase one.”

Back in the mansion, Taehyung suddenly paused while reading a file.

A strange feeling crawled down his spine.

It felt like someone was watching him.

He glanced around the quiet room.

Nothing seemed unusual.

The cameras were normal.

The hallways were silent.

Still…

Something felt wrong.

Taehyung slowly closed the file and looked toward the dark window.

Outside, the night was calm.

Too calm.

He didn’t know why, but deep inside, a quiet uneasiness began to grow in his chest.

As if a storm was slowly approaching.

And soon…

That storm would change everything.
