The Mafia Queen and the Broken Heir

Introduction: The Beginning.

Morrigan was not an ordinary woman.

In the hidden world of the underworld, her name was whispered with fear. She was known as a dangerous and powerful mafia leader. Cold, intelligent, and ruthless, she had built a reputation that no one dared to challenge.

But far away from that dark world lived a boy named David.

David belonged to a very rich family. His father owned many companies and industries, and their name was famous in the business world.

From the outside, their family looked perfect.

But inside, it was empty and cold.

David lost his mother when he was very young. She had been a gentle and caring woman, but her life had been full of pain. Her marriage had never been happy, and the house had always been filled with silence instead of love.

When she became seriously ill, no one truly cared for her. She slowly lost the will to live, and one day she was gone.

David was only a child, but he understood more than people thought.

After her death, the house became even colder.

His father rarely spoke to him and spent most of his time outside the house. Sometimes he returned home drunk and angry. When that happened, David became the target of his frustration.

Because of this, David slowly grew quiet and distant from everyone.

He started believing that everything bad that happened around him was somehow his fault.

Even at school, things were not easy.

One afternoon, when David was nine years old, he was standing behind the school building.

Diseapear.......

One afternoon, when David was nine years old, he was standing behind the school building.

A group of boys surrounded him.

They pushed him hard.

Thud

David fell to the ground, his clothes becoming dirty with dust and mud.

The boys laughed loudly.

“Look at him!” one of them shouted mockingly. “The rich boy lying in the mud!”

Another boy picked up David’s school bag and threw it into a puddle.

“You’re rich, right?” he said with a cruel smile. “You won’t mind if your bag gets dirty!”

The boys laughed again.

David said nothing.

Inside his mind, poison of dark thoughts has already appear.

I deserve this....

Why was I even....born??

I am a piece of Shit!!.

I deserve more worse than this!.

Everything bad happens because of me.....

He simply stayed on the ground and accepted it.

Then suddenly, only silence appear in the blow of wind.

The boys looked toward someone standing nearby.

A girl had appeared.

She was standing a few steps away leaned against the wall with Crossed hands, watching everything quietly. Her face was calm, almost emotionless.

Seeing her makes hearts shudder, they're breathes stop as if someone choke their throats under her presence,

Without saying another word, they quickly ran away.

Now only David and the strange girl remained.

She slowly walked toward him and sat down beside him on the ground.

“So,” she said casually, raising one eyebrow, “how was the pain?”

Only Silence remained between them

While,He kept his head lowered.

The girl tilted her head slightly.

“So that’s how it is, huh?”

She close her eyes as if remember something,

she looked at him again,

like he is not some unknown kid.

“Don’t blame yourself.”

David suddenly looked up in shock.

How did she know what he was thinking?

The girl looked straight into his eyes.

“Blaming yourself gives you nothing,” she said calmly. “If something is wrong, then fix it. If something isn’t your fault, then don’t punish yourself for it.”

David’s voice was barely a whisper.

“…Why?”

The girl smiled faintly.

“No amount of guilt can change the past,” she said.

“And no amount of anxiety can change the future.”

She gently patted his head.

“So treat yourself better.”

“Sometimes the truth looks like a lie.”

“And sometimes lies look like the truth.”

David stared at her silently.

For the first time in a long time, someone had spoken to him like he also mattered.

He opened his mouth to ask something.

But before he could ask something,

She was gone,

The place beside him was empty.

It was as if she had disappeared like a cold breeze passing through an autumn evening.

he stood up to look for her around hurriedly as if something lost,

precious in a blink of an eye.

Everything appears to be blurred in his getting dark and dark until.....

A sound of thud appear on Silence his wounds touch the ground,

Then Suddenly he open his eyes and found out........

Thought....

When David slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was a white ceiling.

The smell of medicine filled the air.

He blinked a few times before realizing where he was.

The school hospital.

He quickly sat up and looked around the room as if searching for something—or someone.

His eyes moved from one corner to another.

But the room was empty.

The mysterious girl who had helped him earlier was nowhere to be seen.

Who brought me here…? he wondered.

Suddenly, her words echoed in his mind.

“No amount of guilt can change the past… and no amount of anxiety can change the future.”

David went silent.

His small hands slowly covered his face.

Tears slipped through his fingers.

He didn’t know why, but something inside his heart felt different now.

A nurse walked into the room.

“Oh, you’re awake,” she said gently. “You were seriously injured earlier. You should take better care of yourself. You’re just a kid.”

She began preparing an injection.

But when she turned back toward the bed—

It was empty.

The boy was gone.

She looked around in surprise and sighed.

“Kids these days…”

Meanwhile, David was already running down the street.

The family car was waiting for him outside the school.

He quickly opened the door and sat inside.

“Drive home,” he said to the driver.

During the ride, his heart kept beating fast.

His mind was full of thoughts.

The girl’s words kept repeating again and again.

“Drive faster,” he suddenly said.

The driver nodded and increased the speed.

When they finally arrived home, David ran straight to his room.

He shut the door behind him and slid down until he was sitting on the floor.

And then he cried.

He cried quietly, hugging his knees.

For the first time in a long time, his tears were not only filled with pain—but also confusion.

Eventually, exhaustion took over..

David fell asleep right there on the floor.

The next morning.

Knock. Knock.

“Young Master,” the butler said from outside the door. “Won’t you go to school today? It’s getting late.”

There was silence for a few seconds.

Then David answered softly from inside the room.

“No… I’m not going today.”

The butler frowned slightly.

“Are you feeling unwell?”

But David said nothing.

After waiting a moment, the butler sighed and walked away.

Days passed.

David stayed in his room for almost a week.

But one morning, something changed.

The boy finally stood up from his bed.

He walked into the bathroom, took a shower, and brushed his teeth.

When he looked at himself in the mirror, he stared quietly for a long moment.

Then a small smirk appeared on his face.

“Thanks… young lady,” he whispered.

For the first time in a long time, he dressed properly.

Usually he wore messy clothes to school

 without caring about his appearance.

But today was different.

When the car stopped in front of the school, David stepped out and stood at the entrance gate.

He closed his eyes for a moment.

Then he opened them again and walked inside.

Students were talking and laughing around him.

As he walked down the hallway, two boys suddenly bumped into him.

One of them almost fell.

they felt an Ultimate Aura in him that made them feel uneasy.

David said.......

The boys were shocked!!
