Sasha woke up as her mother called for her. They live in a rented apartment, it was really small but for a 7-year-old Sasha, it was bigger than hers anyway. Sasha thought of sleeping a bit more, but her annoying sister threw water on her face from a glass, making her jolt awake.
"Hey!" Sasha whined as she rubbed his smaller hands on her face, whipping away the water. Daisy giggles, she wore her elementary school uniform. Today was the day Sasha was taking admission at her sister's school. Sasha was going to 2nd class. It's going to be fun! She dreamed of going to her sister's school as soon as Sasha got up, brushing her teeth and bathing before her mother ready Her. her father took them on the old motorbike which they had been using before she was even born. The excitement of going to new school made her cheeks flushed.
As they arrived, Sasha was told to give the entrance exam... Exam? That's unheard of... But then again her sister gave it, so she should as well... Sasha sat on the bench as the lady—she assumed she was a teacher here—gave her the examination paper. She has been preparing for it for so long! It's another thing her tuition teacher slapped her because she failed on test preparation... But anyway. Sasha as soon as finished up, as the examiner took the paper. She happily goes to her mother. Sasha's mother looked worried, she looked like she didn't believe in Sasha's ability to pass the test. As Sasha asked.
"How did the exam go?"
"It was easy!"
Sasha beamed, her mother sighed. "I hope it was..." she wasn't as happy as Sasha, as soon as she took Sasha home. Sasha was only thinking about the new things she will get. A new uniform, books, notebook, geometry box and other things, wouldn't it be great! When they arrived at home. Her mother put her purse on a table nearby, and she walked inside the kitchen. Sasha as well, changed into a comfortable shirt and pants. "Mommy, when will I go to school?"
"Results would tell," her mother spoke with no interest in her tone as she sat in bed and turned on the TV to watch. Placing cut apples in front of Sasha. She eats the slice, while watching TV, with her mother. She couldn't wait... And she hoped she will soon go to school.
Next morning
Sasha thought she was getting a new uniform but then her mother brought her Sasha's sister's old uniform. Sasha pouts, "no! I want a new uniform as well! Just like sissy got it!" she whines. Her mother's eyes narrowed. "Sasha, don't be a brat. This will fit you the same as new, so just wear it. End of discussion."
Sasha whined a bit but didn't disobey further. She remembers the last time she was slapped at whining too much. Meanwhile, at the same time her sister came with a very stretched hairband. "Mommy! I need a new one! This is too stretched!!" daisy yells, their mother looked at Daisy and sighed. "Sure, daisy. I'll bring a new one from the afternoon market, Don't worry. Wear a white one for now."
Daisy huffed but didn't say further. Sasha looked back and forth. "Mommy, I want a new hairband as well..." Sasha said. Her mother eyes narrowed. "Your hairs are too short for a band. You don't need one." she said before she finished her adjust her tie before going back to kitchen for her kitchen work. Sasha with an upset face, followed her sister downstairs to the waiting motorcycle, her father would drive them to school after all.

Sasha arrived at her school with anticipation, she was nervous on her first day. When she arrived the teacher confused her a lot about which classroom she had to go in. A few while later, one teacher guides her into the classroom. She sat down, as some students were told to help her in notebook work.
Sasha was really confused,, but she followed, but the time felt so short after the drama that she doesn't have the time to even finish,, and it was already simply home time. Sasha starts... Crying. Some students noticed, a girl named Tina reassured her in mocking sympathy. "don't cry, you big baby! You can finish this up at home as well!"
She giggles but oh who would tell her Sasha fear and anxiety? She wasn't crying because her homework wasn't done. Furthermore, she was crying that the teacher or maybe even her own mother would scold or slap her because of unfinished homework. But she whipped her tears and nods before packing quickly as children began to file out of the classroom.
Sasha followed along, towards the downstairs of the school building. As soon as she was about to reach the gate, until a teacher stopped Hey. "hey, wait up, girl. You can't go until your parents come to pick you up."
sasha paused and nodded as she walked to the hall where other children were sitting as well. sasha gripped her backpack, as she looked around for a seat to sit as well like other children. But children were already sat on every seat. She feels more anxious as she stays standing in a group of children. Looking like a little lost chick in front of lambs.
And then finally after all the children were gone, she was taken to the office instead. Sasha was crying so much that her mother didn't come, her tears rolling down her puffy pink cheeks as she sobs and whipped her eyes. "Mama! I need my mama!" she cried and screamed. The teachers just left where other children waited for their parents.
"Poor child, she doesn't even have an ID card, how will we call her parents?"
A school staff member, assumed as a janitor spoke before continuing her task. Sasha cried for a long hour. At exactly 1:05 in the afternoon, her mother came. As she picked up Sasha, the teacher began to question why didn't come sooner.
"Ma'am, your child was crying so much, why did you come so late?"
"Oh sorry, it's just my older daughter's school finishing time is the same, so I thought I should pick both at the same time as well."
The teachers furrowed but doesn't say anything as Sasha's mother took Sasha from there. Sasha, rubbed her eye. She felt tired after crying and a long day of waiting. As her mother picked up daisy as well from her school. Before taking both children home. Sasha rubbed her eye, as her mother gave them both clothes to change.
Sasha changed as well through her mother's help, "mommy, I'm hungry..."
She spoke, her tone held the unspoken words of how exhausted she was. Sasha's mother sighed. "Not now, Sasha. I have work to do, and I didn't make anything. Just tell your sister to bring you some snacks or whatever..."
Sasha nods as she searches for her sister, who grabbed two coins for snacks to go to the nearby snacks shop. "Sissy, wait!" Sasha calls. "Mommy! Tell her to stop! I want to go too!" Sasha said as she was in a hurry to wear her slippers. Sasha's mother was still busy with household work, she calls with disdain. "Daisy! Wait up! Your little sister is coming!"
But daisy didn't wait up, she was already gone. But Sasha as well followed after... Or tried to.
One hour later...
Sasha's mother, rose, was finally done with her work and sighed, grabbing herself a cup of coffee. As soon as she sat down for relaxation. She noticed daisy eating chips, she smiled for a moment before she felt uneasy crept in. "Daisy... Where is Sasha?"
Daisy looked up, as she greedily nibbled on chips. "I don't know..."
Rose almost dropped the cup as she stood up. "What do you mean, you don't know!? Wasn't she with you at the snacks shop!?"
Daisy shook her head. "No, I didn't see her anywhere on my way home..."
rose face paled up as she immediately went out to search for Sasha, and she hoped... Sasha Was alright...
