SEVEN DEADLY SONS³
1
"WONWOO! RUN! FUCKING run now!"
"JEON WONWOO!"
"Wonwoo.. Wonwoo don't fucking close your eyes, you hear me! Don't close your eyes!"
"How could you do this to me?! You couldn't even save me after everything I've done for all of you! How could you let me die like this?! HOW COULD YOU?! Why didn't you help me?! Why didn't you help me Taehyung?!"
"I'm sorry!"
Taehyung shot his eyes open, sweating and panting like crazy. He sat up and looked around the room, making sure that he wasn't hallucinating just now. He had another dream, the same as the dreams he's been having for the past seven months.
Mrs. Kim called out as she knocked on Taehyung's room. When Taehyung didn't answer her, his mother slowly opened the door, only to see Taehyung blankly staring out his window.
She greeted as she slowly walked towards her son. Taehyung doesn't budge as his mother gently placed her hand on his shoulder.
Kim Ye-Jin
"How are you feeling?"
She asked, but Taehyung still doesn't answer. The action made Mrs. Kim's heart ache.
Taehyung has been like this for the past seven months. After Wonwoo's death, he has been unapproachable and silent. At times he would start crying and shouting and would constantly have nightmares.
He stopped going to school so his mother was forced to homeschool him. After everything, this was Taehyung's greatest downfall.
Kim Ye-Jin
"Oh, son..." *wipe his tears*
Kim Ye-Jin
"It's been seven months Taehyung, and I know it's painful, but when are you going to move on? Wonwoo...he'd feel really sad if he finds out you're acting like this. You're suffering because of something you didn't..."
Kim Taehyung
"His death will always be our fault."
Now it's Mrs. Kim's turn to cry. She looked straight to her son's eyes and held his cheek.
Kim Ye-Jin
"But it's not...and you clearly know that. You just don't know whom to blame for his death that's why you're forcing it on yourself. You think it's for Wonwoo's sake but it's not."
And she was right. Taehyung didn't know who to blame. Was it the King of Hell who planned everything? Was it the Arcs who didn't even warn them? Or was it themselves? The Demons didn't know anything, and they walked right through the King of Hell's trap.
Kim Ye-Jin
"When will you learn to understand that whatever you do, it will never make up for his death? All you could do right now is to be strong for Wonwoo's sake, but you're not even doing it."
Kim Taehyung
"Did you really think I didn't know that?"
His mother sighed and patted his back. She wiped her own tears away and said.
Kim Ye-Jin
"Alright. I don't want us to end up fighting again. After all...it's your birthday. I called your professor today; he won't be coming to your classes. And if you want I can bring the food here so I could-"
Kim Taehyung
"No, I'm...I'm going somewhere today."
Mrs. Kim smiled, like she knew where Taehyung was heading.
Kim Ye-Jin
"Okay, then I'll see you later."
AT HWANG IN-YEOP'S RESIDENCE
In-Yeop, who was doing pushups on the floor, got distracted when he heard loud knocks coming from his bedroom door. He wanted to ignore it, but the knocking won't stop, so In-Yeop finally stood up, wore his shirt, and opened the door, only to find his mother holding a cake for him.
Hwang Hye-Kyo
"Happy birthday darling!"
Hwang In-Yeop
*force smile*
Hwang In-Yeop
"Thank you, mom."
Hwang Hye-Kyo
"You're not happy. I knew it...I shouldn't have done this. I was insensitive and I was-"
Hwang In-Yeop
"No! I'm really thankful for this. Thank you, mom. I seriously appreciate it."
Mrs. Hwang finally smiled and showed In-Yeop the cake again.
Hwang Hye-Kyo
"Then let's eat this downstairs."
Hwang In-Yeop
"Oh mom, let's eat it later. I actually need to do something right now."
Hwang Hye-Kyo
"Now that you mention it, why are you wearing formal clothes? Aren't you going to go to school today?"
Hwang In-Yeop
"No, I'm visiting someone."
Mrs. Hwang paused for a second. Then she gave out a smile and nodded her head in understanding.
Hwang Hye-Kyo
"Oh, of course. You go on ahead, I'll contact your professors for you."
Hwang In-Yeop
"Thanks, mom."
Not like Taehyung, In-Yeop's been trying to busy himself after everything that happened with him and his brothers. He's been attending classes at HAU; not like his brothers who haven't been to the university for seven months now. He's even exercising more just to sweat out the negativity.
It's been hard for In-Yeop, but he was smart enough to just move on and forget about everything like how his brothers intended to do. Nothing was going to happen if he stayed in the past. He was only going to hurt himself if he did.
Of course, the first few months were terrible for him, but eventually, he overcomes it all for the sake of Wonwoo as well.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Then I'll see you later mom."
In-Yeop says as he goes out of their house right after he got ready.
Hwang In-Yeop
💭 "I should buy flowers first."
In-Yeop thought to himself as he went to a flower shop just close by. When In-Yeop arrived at the shop, he bought the whitest rose that there was. He goes to the counter to pay for it, but then...
Someone
"I'm sorry sir but the last bouquet of white roses were bought by that man."
Someone
The girl (who was blushing intensely), suddenly answered to the man in front of her.
Someone
"Oh it's okay, I'll have a red one instead."
The moment In-Yeop heard the voice, he quickly turned his head to confirm if he was right. When sees the owner of the voice, he unknowingly lets go of the bouquet he was holding.

The man who was supposed to buy white roses as well looked back at In-Yeop with shock. But instead of saying anything, he kneeled and picked up the bouquet In-Yeop just dropped.
Someone
"Here, don't want that getting ruined right?" *softly said*
In-Yeop slowly took the bouquet from the man's hand and tried to say.
Hwang In-Yeop
"T-Taehyung..."
Kim Taehyung
"How have you been... In-Yeop?"
In-Yeop was about to say something, but he felt like tears were about to fall. He didn't want to cry actual blood in front of everyone inside the shop.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Y-You should...pay for that first."
After that, the two went outside and walked beside each other, but they didn't say a word for a couple of minutes.
Kim Taehyung
"How are you?"
Hwang In-Yeop
"How are you?"
Hwang In-Yeop
"S-Sorry..you answer first." *nervously said*
He hasn't seen his best friend for the past seven months and he wasn't sure what to say to him.
Kim Taehyung
"I've been...trying. But you...you look good. You've been working out again?"
Hwang In-Yeop
"Yeah, I have."
Hwang In-Yeop
"S-so, boys...they haven't been bugging you or anything right?"
Kim Taehyung
*shakes his head*
Kim Taehyung
"No, don't worry, they haven't. Well, that's because I haven't been going out. I've been homeschooling."
Hwang In-Yeop
"I guess that's good."
In-Yeop says before pausing. Then he suddenly remembered something.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Oh, happy birthday by the way. I almost forgot that we have the same birthday." *awkwardly said*
Kim Taehyung
"Y-yeah, thank you. Happy birthday to you too."
Then the atmosphere becomes awkward again.
When In-Yeop couldn't take the tension anymore, he looked at Taehyung and whispered.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Fuck this."
Finally, In-Yeop clenched his fist with his free hand and stopped walking, making Taehyung stop walking as well. Taehyung turned to look at In-Yeop, but he was shocked to see that In-Yeop was now crying blood.
Kim Taehyung
"In-Yeop?" *worried*
Hwang In-Yeop
"I missed you, you fucking idiot. Every...single...day...you guys were the only once in my mind."
In-Yeop finally says with his head low so Taehyung couldn't see his crying face anymore.
Taehyung doesn't say anything. Instead, he quickly grabs In-Yeop and gave him the tightest embrace.
Kim Taehyung
"The same goes to me you fucking idiot."
Everyone was looking at the two guys weirdly but In-Yeop and Taehyung didn't bother. They haven't seen each other for seven months, and finally, they're right in front of each other.
Kim Taehyung
"I missed you so much In-Yeop. Every day I wondered what would happen if I just had the guts to run to you, but I just couldn't. I was so scared to face you In-Yeop...I was so scared." *crying*
Hwang In-Yeop
"You don't have to be scared anymore Taehyung. I'm here. Your In-Yeop is here and I will do everything I can to make sure you won't feel scared again."
In-Yeop looked at Taehyung and wiped his blood tears using the cuffs of his sleeves, making it stained with blood. But In-Yeop didn't mind. He kissed Taehyung's forehead and told him.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Shit...I really fucking missed you."
Taehyung finally smiled and wiped In-Yeop's face as well.
Kim Taehyung
"Well I fucking missed you to you glutton."
The two parted from the hug and smiled at each other.
Kim Taehyung
"I should have done this a few months ago. I wouldn't have been stuck in my room for seven months."
Taehyung joked, making In-Yeop laugh. Then the two continued walking.
Kim Taehyung
"You know...I've been dreaming about him."
Taehyung suddenly opened up. He thought In-Yeop would be freaked about it, but then In-Yeop took a deep breath and looked at his brother.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Me too actually."
Kim Taehyung
"R-Really? How?"
In-Yeop doesn't say anything for a couple of seconds before answering him.
Hwang In-Yeop
"When Wonwoo appears on my dreams, he would usually ask me to give it to him. I don't know what he means but he keeps on telling me to 'give it to me,' but he doesn't even tell me what it is."
Kim Taehyung
"At least you get asked to give something to him. Wonwoo keeps on asking me why I didn't help him. Like he was waiting for me to reach out to him but I just couldn't."
Hwang In-Yeop
"Well, that's tough. But isn't it just our inner fears?"
Kim Taehyung
"Maybe. So, how are our brothers?"
He hasn't seen everyone for seven months so he thought that In-Yeop might have been seeing them since he still goes to school. But In-Yeop scratched his head and said.
Hwang In-Yeop
"I don't know actually. Jimin, Sunghoon, and Jackson are still enrolled at HAU but they don't go to any of the classes. I sometimes see them, but they make sure we don't cross paths. We're avoiding each other and I understand that, but I just wished things could go back to the way it was."
Kim Taehyung
"It will be hard you know, especially when not everyone is trying. But I'm glad to hear that everyone's okay. But Seokjin...have you heard about him?"
Hwang In-Yeop
"My mom occasionally goes to the other moms just to talk. She talked to Seokjin's mom before and found out that Seokjin's been studying abroad, and she doesn't know when Seokjin would come back. But I heard he doesn't want to come back though."
When In-Yeop saw Taehyung's reaction, he quickly puts his arm around Taehyung's shoulder and says.
Hwang In-Yeop
"Hey, don't worry about it. Seokjin might just need a little time. And besides, he's our leader, he'll be back no matter what happens."
Kim Taehyung
*smile and nodded*
Kim Taehyung
"I guess you're right."
The two got inside a cab and eventually arrived at their destination, which was Wonwoo's grave. It was their birthday, which means it's Jeon Wonwoo's birthday too. They wouldn't mind spending their birthday at a graveyard if it means spending it with their prideful brother.
Hwang In-Yeop
"We're here."
Kim Taehyung
"Yeah, this was the place where I last saw everyone."
They were about to get closer to the grave when someone suddenly called them out, making the two demons stop.
Someone
"How's it been, brothers?"

Jeon Wonwoo
"DOES IT HURT Sunghoon?"
Wonwoo's voice echoed inside of Sunghoon's made, making Sunghoon's entire body tremble.
Park Sunghoon
"Wonwoo...why are you doing this to me? J-Just, please...leave me alone!"
Jeon Wonwoo
"If it hurts that much then cry for me. Cry until you're satisfied."
Joshua suddenly called out, snapping Sunghoon back to his senses. Sunghoon blinked rapidly, massaged his temple, and looked at his friend.
Park Sunghoon
"S-sorry. I just remembered the dream I had last night."
Joshua
"This is why I miss Won and boss Niki. They treat me better than you. You don't even care about me do you?!"
Park Sunghoon
"Then fucking go back to Tokyo and work for the Ravens for the rest of your life!"
Sunghoon angrily shouted at Joshua, making Joshua laugh instead of being scared.
Joshua
"There's the boss that I miss!"
Park Sunghoon
*massage his temple*
Park Sunghoon
"What do you want anyway?!"
Sunghoon shouted again as they continued to walk the streets of Gangnam with his right-hand-man.
Sunghoon, like In-Yeop, was busying himself after everything that happened to his brothers. He went back to his old ways, and that was being a con-artist. His mother didn't like the idea, but she didn't stop her son at all. She knew Sunghoon needed to do something to occupy his mind because if he doesn't, he might just go insane, especially when Sunghoon's been crying every night.
Joshua
"Like what I was trying to tell you earlier, the guys are planning a birthday party for you tonight and they were asking if you would-"
Joshua
"What?! Come on! You ditched us last year on your birthday, now you want to ditch us again? And besides, we're paying anyway."
Park Sunghoon
"I told you yesterday that I'm heading to the cemetery right?"
Joshua
"Oh yeah, to visit your childhood friend that you never mentioned to me before. I'm starting to think you're just using that childhood friend of yours as an excuse. Is he even real? That Jeon Wonwoo guy you keep on telling me about?"
Park Sunghoon
"His death was so real that I could see it happen every night."
When Joshua heard that, he quickly felt bad for saying something stupid.
Joshua
"H-hey...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..."
Park Sunghoon
"It's okay."
Joshua
"Fine, we can celebrate next time. You should go to that friend of yours. After all, you suited up and even bought flowers for him."
Joshua then looks at Sunghoon who was wearing a formal suit while holding a bouquet like he was finally going to ask a girl he's been in love with for years on a cheesy date. Sunghoon laughed and said back.
Park Sunghoon
"Thanks man, I'll see you later."
Joshua
"Yeah! Happy birthday again bro!"
Then Sunghoon goes to his car that was parked on the side of the street and drives off.
AT PARK JIMIN'S RESIDENCE
"I love you.."
"I love you too...but...I can't do this, I can't date you anymore."
"What? What do you mean? Is it because I'm a guy too? You can't handle holding hands with a guy? Is that it?"
"No! You know that's not true Nathan."
"Then what is it, John? Tell me why you can't date me anymore..."
Jimin's mother suddenly called out, making Jimin quickly turn off the television. She goes inside Jimin's bedroom and looks at him suspiciously.
Park Tae-Hee
"What were you doing?"
Jimin's nervously answered as he stuffed his mouth with the chips that he was holding. Jimin's mother sighed and massaged his temple in frustration.
Park Tae-Hee
"Are you going to spend your birthday like this Jimin? You're just going to lay in bed watching...Romantic gay movies?"
Park Jimin
"So you knew!?''
Park Tae-Hee
"Of course I know. I know everything about you Jimin...and I know you cry at night, not because of those movies."
Park Jimin
"That's because it's better to do this than remember."
Park Tae-Hee
"What happened this time?"
Park Jimin
"Wonwoo...I saw him again. H-He was right behind me when I was checking myself in the mirror."
Park Tae-Hee
"Oh Jimin...I know Wonwoo's death is hard to erase but you need to-"
Park Jimin
"I'm not imagining it!"
Jimin quickly says as he pushes his mother away. The action only made Jimin's mother sadder.
Park Tae-Hee
"Okay, I believe you, but how about you greet Wonwoo a happy birthday instead? Wouldn't that make you feel better?"
Park Jimin
"No, I can't. I haven't seen my brothers for seven months now. I'm not going to Wonwoo's grave. I'm a hundred percent sure they'll be going there too. A sudden reunion wouldn't do me any good."
Park Tae-Hee
"But Jimin..."
Jimin has been like this for the past months now, but not like Taehyung, he went back to his old self like Sunghoon, and that was being the lazy bum that he was.
He stopped going to school, but he attends them when his mother forces him to. But to not waste his mother's hard work for paying for his enrollment, Jimin attends school when there are exams. He also passes homework, making him still a top student at HAU, which also makes it harder for the school to expel him even though he doesn't go to school at all.
Park Tae-Hee
"But wouldn't seeing your brothers be better? You don't have to stay too long and chat with them. If you want you could just stop by and leave afterward."
Park Jimin
*lay on the bed*
Park Jimin
"I can't mom, and you can't make me go. Seeing Wonwoo every day is enough. I might lose it if I see my brothers. I don't want to see them."
Jimin was about to take the chips, but his mother quickly snatches it away and angrily says.
Park Tae-Hee
"Okay, I had enough of this. You Park Jimin, will go to your brother's grave and pay your respect, and I don't care if you breakdown in front of Wonwoo's grave or if you get to see your brothers again, but I can't continue on living knowing my son is tormenting himself inside this small room while watching rom-com movies, do you understand me?!"
Park Jimin
"F-Fine...whatever you say."
