His Only Weakness

His Only Weakness

The Singhania mansion was glowing under soft golden lights, filled with elite guests, laughter, and quiet business conversations. Everything looked perfect on the surface, yet Sia couldn’t shake the strange feeling in her chest. It wasn’t just another party—she could feel it. Something was about to change. Her eyes unconsciously searched the crowd until they landed on Kim Taehyung, standing calm and composed, as if he already knew what the night held. That calmness unsettled her even more.

As the music slowly faded, her father, Aditya Singhania, stepped forward and took the mic. The room fell silent almost instantly. Sia frowned slightly, confusion rising within her. He wasn’t someone who made announcements without purpose. His voice was steady and authoritative as he thanked the guests and spoke about alliances, future, and trust. Each word felt heavier than the last, as if leading to something she wasn’t prepared to hear.

Then it happened.

Aditya announced that Sia Singhania would be marrying Kim Taehyung.

For a moment, everything around her blurred. The applause, the whispers, the flashing lights—none of it felt real. Her heart dropped as she turned toward Taehyung, expecting shock, denial… anything. But he stood there, calm, almost unaffected. That was when it hurt the most. The realization hit her slowly—he knew. He had known before her.

The betrayal wasn’t loud; it was quiet, heavy, and suffocating.

Without caring about the watching crowd, Sia walked straight toward him, her eyes filled with disbelief and anger. Her voice was low but trembling as she asked if he already knew. Taehyung didn’t lie. He admitted it softly, and that honesty only made it worse. Before she could process that, she turned to her father, demanding an explanation. But instead of understanding, she was met with control. To him, this wasn’t a discussion—it was a decision already made.

Standing in the middle of the grand hall, surrounded by people who saw it as a celebration, Sia felt completely alone. This was her life, her future… yet she had no part in choosing it. As she looked once more at Taehyung, confusion mixed with something deeper—why didn’t he stop this? Why did he agree?

That night, under the bright lights and perfect smiles, Sia realized something terrifying—

she was stepping into a life she didn’t understand… with a man she thought she knew.

The world around them continued to celebrate, but Sia felt like she was standing in the middle of a storm no one else could see. Anger and disbelief pushed her toward her father, her voice finally rising as she demanded an explanation. But Aditya didn’t falter. To him, this wasn’t something to discuss—it was a decision already made, a future already decided. His calmness only made it worse, as if her feelings didn’t matter in the face of what he believed was “right.”

In that moment, surrounded by people who were smiling, congratulating, and celebrating her life, Sia felt more alone than ever.

Her eyes drifted back to Taehyung.

He stood there, quiet, watching her—not forcing, not stopping, not even defending himself. That silence confused her even more. Why wasn’t he saying anything? Why did it feel like he was giving her a choice… when everything around her had already taken it away?

The lights, the music, the applause—it all blurred into nothing as one thought settled deep within her mind.

That night, Sia realized something she wasn’t ready to accept—

she was being tied to a man who felt familiar…

yet carried a darkness she had never seen before.

And somewhere deep inside, a question began to grow—

INTRODUCTION

...(Kim Taeyhung)...

Kim Taeyhung was not just a name—it was a presence.

Cold, composed, and unreadable.

To the world, he was a successful and powerful man who carried himself with effortless dominance. His silence spoke louder than words, and his gaze alone was enough to make people lower their eyes.

But behind that calm exterior… was a truth no one knew.

A dangerous truth.

Taeyhung was a man who lived in the shadows—a mafia king, feared in a world where mercy didn’t exist.

Only two people knew this side of him:

Aditya Singhania… and Viranshu Singhania.

And he intended to keep it that way.

Because there was one person he could never let this darkness reach—

Sia.

...(Sia Singhania)...

Sia Singhania was everything Taeyhung was not.

Warm. Lively. Fearless in her own way.

She had a smile that could light up the darkest room and a heart that trusted too easily. Raised in a loving family, she believed in people… in relationships… in forever.

But what made her truly special—

Was the way she never let go of the past.

Because in her memories… there was always one person.

Her childhood best friend.

Her partner in chaos.

The boy who once meant everything to her—

Kim Taeyhung.

The massive iron gates of the Kim Mansion slowly opened, revealing a breathtaking view inside.

Soft golden lights illuminated the pathway, leading to a grand structure that looked more like a palace than a house.

Sia stepped out of the car, her eyes widening in amazement.

“Is this even a house?” she whispered. “Or did we accidentally come to a royal palace?”

Aditya chuckled lightly. “The Kim family has always had… a certain standard.”

Viranshu, however, remained quiet. His sharp eyes scanned every corner, as if searching for something hidden beneath the beauty.

As they stepped inside, the tall doors opened effortlessly.

And there he stood.

Kim Taeyhung.

Dressed in black. Calm. Untouchable.

His presence filled the room without effort.

His eyes lifted… and landed on her.

Sia froze.

“Taeyhung…?”

Her voice was barely above a whisper.

For a moment, time seemed to pause.

“HYUNG! ARE THEY HERE ALREADY?!”

A loud voice shattered the silence.

And just like that—

The moment broke.

Jungkook rushed into the hall, slightly out of breath—but the second his eyes fell on Sia, they lit up instantly.

“WAIT—SIA?!”

Sia blinked—and then gasped.

“JUNGKOOK?!”

A pause. One second. Two seconds.

Then—

“YOU IDIOT!”

“YOU CRAZY GIRL!”

They shouted at the same time.

Before anyone could react—

Sia grabbed a cushion from the sofa and threw it straight at him.

“You still talk too much!”

Jungkook caught it dramatically. “And you still have no manners!”

“Oh really?” she crossed her arms. “At least I’m not annoying.”

“Annoying?!” he scoffed. “You were literally the most irritating kid alive!”

“And you were the dumbest!”

“I was NOT dumb!”

“You still are!”

Within seconds—

They were running around the living room.

Cushions flying everywhere.

Jungkook dodging like his life depended on it.

Sia chasing him with full determination.

“SIA STOP—PEOPLE ARE WATCHING!” Jungkook yelled.

“LET THEM WATCH!” she shouted back. “I’ve waited YEARS for this!”

A Silent Observer

Everyone stood stunned. Except one.

Taeyhung.

He didn’t move. Didn’t speak. He simply watched.

And for the first time in years—

The corner of his lips lifted… just slightly.

This chaos. This noise. This girl.

Nothing had changed.

And yet… everything had.

Suddenly—

Sia tripped. “Ah—!” Before she could hit the floor—

A hand caught her. Firm. Steady. She froze.

Slowly, she looked up.

Taeyhung. Their eyes locked. The laughter faded.

The noise disappeared. Everything felt… different.

From the side, Jungkook blinked, still holding a cushion.

“Uhh… should I leave or…?” 👀

Sia quickly pulled her hand back, slightly flustered.

“Thank you…” she said softly.

Taeyhung’s voice was calm, controlled.

“You’re welcome.” But his eyes…

They didn’t leave her. Not even for a second.

Across the room, Aditya and Viranshu exchanged a brief, knowing glance.

Because they understood something Sia didn’t.

This wasn’t just a reunion.

This was a collision...Between innocence…

And a world far too dark for it.

...****************...

...****************...

The long dining table was already set.

Crystal glasses, perfectly arranged cutlery, and dishes that looked too beautiful to eat.

Everything was… flawless.

Too flawless.

Sia took her seat beside her mother, still glancing around with quiet curiosity.

Jungkook dropped into the chair next to her casually, leaning closer.

“Don’t act impressed,” he whispered. “Hyung is just showing off.”

Sia elbowed him lightly. “At least someone has taste.”

Jungkook gasped. “Excuse me?! I have excellent taste.”

“In what? Chaos?” she smirked.

“Better than your attitude.”

They glared at each other for two seconds—

Then both looked away at the same time.

Taeyhung’s Presence

At the head of the table sat Taeyhung.

Calm. Silent. Observing.

His gaze moved across everyone briefly… before settling on Sia again. Just for a second. But it was enough.

Aditya cleared his throat. “It’s been a long time, Taeyhung.”

Taeyhung nodded slightly. “It has.”

His tone was polite.

Controlled.

But Viranshu’s eyes narrowed almost instantly.

“Long time… or a calculated distance?” Viranshu said casually, picking up his glass.

The air shifted.

Sia blinked, confused. “Uncle?”

Jungkook frowned slightly. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Taeyhung didn’t react. Didn’t defend. Didn’t explain. He simply picked up his glass and took a slow sip. “I had responsibilities,” he said calmly.

Aditya’s voice was low. “Responsibilities… we understand.” Their eyes met. A silent conversation.

One that Sia couldn’t understand—

But could definitely feel.

Sia looked between them. “Okay… I feel like I’m missing something.”

Jungkook leaned toward her again. “Same. And I live here.”

“Great,” she muttered. “That makes it worse.”

Trying to break the tension, Savi smiled.

“Sia was always very close to Taeyhung.”

Sia immediately choked on her water. “Mom!”

Jungkook smirked. “Ohhh interesting—”

“Shut up,” Sia snapped under her breath.

Taeyhung’s fingers paused slightly on the table. Very slightly.

“Was?” he repeated, his voice low. Sia froze.

The word hit differently than expected. She looked up. And found him already looking at her. That same unreadable expression. But his eyes—

They weren’t calm anymore. There was something deeper. Something intense. Something that made her quickly look away.
