Blood was splattered all over the floor and the walls. The hallway was filled with the sounds of police sirens

We've secured the area.

*Sitting against the wall facing the floor, zoned out*

*Not replying*

*Approaches her and kneels down to her level* Kid, can you hear me?

*Still not responding*

*Taps her shoulder hesitantly* Kid? Are you ok?

*Snaps out of it and looks at him, her eyes blank*

After sometime, students began entering the class. All the seats were filled except for the one next to Nora

Students, there's a project for you all which you will be doing in pairs.
The class was filled with excited murmurs

*Looks around* Don't be too excited. I'll be one selecting the pairs.
The class again turned gloomy

*Begins writing the names of the students on the board*

*Writes Elise and Nora's names together*
Random Student 1
*Gasps and whispers* Poor her.
Teacher
That's it. Now quiet down and sit with your partners.
The class was now filled with the shuffling and screeching of chairs. Soon, the class settled down

You all can discuss about the project after the class.
The class began. Elise and Nora didn't talk with each other the entire time
The sound of the notification bell broke the silence in Nora's room

*Checks her phone*

💬 Hey. I'm Elise, your project partner. I wanted to talk about the project. Let's meet after school tomorrow.

💬 No, not after school.

💬 Then during school? Maybe during lunch break?
