Bound by Hate , Broken by Love
The wedding without love
𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 for someone it's the most delightful feeling and for the other most dreadful.
Everyone can have different opinions. But when you love someone and he reciprocates your feelings it's all you want in your life. You feel accomplished.
But when he didn't that was also the worst feeling that you can ever experience in your life.
Somewhere the hall was filled with people. Laughter, music , congratulations.
But none of it reacted Kim Taehyung.
He stood at the center of the grand wedding hall, dressed in expensive white , looking like a groom everyone can envy...yet his hands were trembling.
His eyes slowly lifted and landed on the man standing beside him Jeon Jungkook.
Cold , untouchable, perfect and terrifying.
Jungkook didn't even look at him. Not once as if taehyung didn't even exist.
As if this marriage meant nothing. A shiver ran down through Taehyung's spine.
Taehyung
This is the man i am supposed to live with...💭💭
The priest's voice echoed , asking them to exchange rings. Taehyung fingers shook as he picked up the wedding ring.
For a second - just a second he hesistated. If he wore this everything will be changed.
His life , his freedom maybe even his heart.
The low voice neside him made him flinch. Jungkook hadn't turn but his voice was sharp like a command, not a request.
Taehyung swallowed and obeyed. The ring slid into jungkook's finger.
Cold metal. Colder silence.
When it was jungkook's turn he didn't hesistate. He grabbed taehyung's arm firm almost rough and pushed ring onto his finger in one swift motion.
No warmth. No care. Just possession. A small gadp escaped through Taehyung's mouth but no one noticed.
Because everyone was clapping, celebrating. Smiling at a love that didn't exist.
" congratulations ". " such a perfect couple".
Taehyung wanted to laugh...or cry. He wasn't sure anymore.
The moment the ceremony ended jungkook leaned closer. Close enough for only taehyung to hear.
Jungkook
Don't misunderstand.
His voice was calm but deadly.
Jungkook
The marriage is nothing but a punishment.
Taehyung's breath hitched. Jungkook finally looked at him. Dark eyes empty.
Jungkook
You are here because of your father's sins.
Jungkook
I will make sure you pay for every single one.
The words pierced deeper than any knife. Taehyung felt his chest tighten but he refused to cry.
Not here. Not infront of him.
For a moment just a moment- something flickered in jungkook's eyes. Surprise? Annoyance? But it disappeared just as quickly.
Jungkook straightened, fixing his cufflinks like nothing happened.
Jungkook
Then don't expect any thing from me.
Love. Care. kindness all of it...was forbidden.
That night taehyung stood alone in the massive bedroom of the mansion that he now have to call his house.
The door opened. Jungkook walked in. Without a word he removed his coat and placed it aside.
Taehyung's heart started pounding. That was their first night...as husbands.
Jungkook glanced at him briefly. Then looked away.
Jungkook
You can sleep wherever you want.
Jungkook
Just don't come near me.
And with that he turned off the lights. Laying in the bed like taehyung never existed.
Silence filled the room . Heavy. Suffocating. Taehyung slowly sat on the edge of the couch.
Still in his wedding clothes. Still wearing the ring. Hia fingers tightened around it. A single tear slipped down his cheeks.
Taehyung
...I didn't want this either.
He whispered into the darkness. But no one herd him. Not even the man who was now his Husband.
Somewhere in that silent room.. A marriage hed begun.
Not with love , but with hate.

A contract not a marriage
Morning came quitely. Too quitely.
Kim taehyung opened his eyes slowly the unfamiliar ceiling reminding him him that nothing about his life was the same anymore.
Fir a moment he forget. Then the weight on his finger brought everything back.
The marriage. Him. Taehyung sat up on the couch , his neck slightly sore from the uncomfortable position. His wedding clothes were still on him , wrinkled from the last night.
He glanced towards the bed. Empty. Jein jungkook was already gone. Of course.
Taehyung let out a small breath he didn't realised that he was holding it.
By the time Taehyung stepped out of the room changing , the mansion was already alive.
Staff moved around quitely. But tge moment they saw him theur movements paused.
Eyes followed him. Whispers started.
Maid 1
The one that our boss married ?
Maid 1
He doesn't look like someone who belongs here..
Taehyung lowered his gaze. He was already an outsider.
a Maid greeted him politely though her tone carried hesitation. Taehyung gave a small nod.
maid
Mr jeon is waiting in the dining hall.
His heart started to bit a little faster.
The dinning hall was huge.
Too big for only two people.
Jungkook sat at the head of the long table , dressed perfectly, as if he had already conqured the day.
He didn't look up when taehyung entered. Taehyung hesistated...then quitely took a seat far from him.
Breakfast was served. But no one spoke. The only sound was soft click of cutlery.
Taehyung trued to eat , but the tension made it hard to swallow. Suddenly —
The voice was calm but firm. Taehyung stirred.
He said softly. Jungkook finally looked up.
His gaze was sharp. Cold.
Silence fell heavier than before.
Slowly taehyung stood and moved closer sitting just a few seats away.
Not to close.. not to far.
Jungkook watched him fir a second and then spoke again.
Jungkook
You should understand something clearly.
Taehyung fingers tightened around his spoon.
Jungkook continued his voice steady.
Jungkook
is nothing but a contract.
Each word felt deliberate. Cold. Calculated.
Jungkook
You will act like my spouse in public.
Jungkook
But in private...don't expect anything from me.
Jungkook
No care. No affection. Nothing.
Taehyung lowered his gazes.
Taehyung
I don't expect anything.
Fir the first time jungkook's expression shifted slightly.
Just a little but it was enough.
He said....then he added, almost as a warning.
Jungkook
And don't try to get close to me.
The wirds lingered in the air. Taehyung nodded slowly.
But something inside him hurt anyway. Jungkook stood uo adjusting his watch.
Jungkook
Infront of others ...don't embarrass me.
Taehyung binked confused.
Jungkook
Act like you belong here.
Jungkook
Even if you don't.
That one line..... Stung the most.
Jungkook walk past him without another glance. The sound of his footsteps faded.
And once again taehyung was left alone.
He looked down at the untouched food. Then at the chair jungkook had just left.
Taehyung
I don't belong here..
A small broken smile formed on his lips.
Taehyung
But i will stay anyway.
Because he had no choice.
And somewhere far away from that quiet dinning hall. Jungkook paused mid step.
For a brief second, Taehyung's sodt voice echoed in his mind.
Jungkook
I don't expect anything.💭
Jungkook frowned. Why dud that bother him.
He shook it off ...cold again. Unreachable again. Just like before.
Because this was never supposed to be love.....Only REVENGE.

Cold eyes , warmer tears
The mansion felt bigger in the daylight.
Kim taehyung stood alone in the long hallway, unsure of where to go what to do.
Everything around him looked expensive, perfect...untouched.
Just like the man who owned it. Just like the man he had married.
Taehyung turned at the voice. It was an older woman– calm composed.
Unlike the others her gaze didn't carry curiosity or judgement.
Mrs han
I am Mrs han the head housekeeper.
Mrs han
If you need anything you can tell me.
Taehyung nodded slightly.
A small pause. then hesistly he asked.
Taehyung
Do I.....have something to do?
Mrs han seemed surprised for a moment. Then she gave a soft smile.
Mrs han
You are the master of the house now. You don't have to do anything.
The wird felt wrong....heavy.
Taehyung
I did still like to help.
He saud quitely. Mrs han studied him for a second....then nodded.
Hours passed slowly. Taehyung trued to keep himself busy‐ arranging flowers, helping in small ways , even cooking a simple meal.
Anything to avoid thinking. Anything to fill the silence.
By the evening the sky turned darker.
The sounds of footsteps echoed through the entrance hall.
Taehyung frize where he stood. Jungkook was back.
Dressed in a black suit, his presence alone seemed to shift the entire atmosphere.
Cold. Sharp. Unapproachable. Taehyung stepped forward slightly.
The words slipped out before he could stop himself. Jungkook stopped.
His eyes landed in taehyung. Fir a moment just a moment.
He noticed something different. The house. It felt warmer.
There were fresh flowers. A faint smell of food...something alive. His gaze shifted back to taehyung.
Taehyung hesistated but nodded.
Taehyung
I just thought the house felt a little empty. So i—
The wird came out sharply instant. Taehyung flinched.
Jungkook stepped closer his expression unreadable.
Jungkook
Don't try to act like you belong here.
The same words. Again. Taehyung's chest tightened.
Taehyung
I wasn't trying to—
Jungkook
I don't like changes.
Jungkook
Specially not from you
Silence fell. Heavy. Taehyung's fingers curled slightly.
But this time his voice wasn't asking steady as before.
Jungkook watched him. something about the way Taehyung stood there.
Quiet. Hurt but still calm. It irritated him.
Why wasn't he angry?? Why wasn't he was fighting back??
Jungkook saud coldly turning away.
Taehyung nodded and moved quickly. The dinner table was set.
The food he had made was placed carefully. He stood there waiting.
Jungkook sat diwn and picked up the fork. He took a bite.
A pause. Then another. Taehyung waited. Hoping. Just a little.
That's all jungkook said. No praise. No thanks.
Just that. Taehyung narrowed his eyes.
Dinner ended in silence. Like always.
Later that night. Taehyung sat on the floor of his room, his back resisting against the couch.
The lights were off. The only thing visible was the faint glow of the city outside.
He stared at his hands. At the ring.
Taehyung
I shouldn't have expected anything.
He whispered. But the truth was he did.
Even it was just a little a tiny hope. That maybe things wouldn't be this cold.
A tear slipped down his cheek. Then another. Quiet. Untouched.
On the other side of the mansion.
Jungkook stood in his room loosening his tie.
His mind replayed the evening. The flowers. The warmth. Taehyung. His expression hardened.
He muttered and yet. He didn't remove the flowers from the hallway.
But for some reason. The house didn't feel as empty anymore and he didn't know if he like that.
