I was just walking to a school like any other day but then my friend taps on my shoulder from behind”ah you scared me” “hehe” that’s my friend her name is Lilly and I’m Kevin she’s been begging me to join this book club it’s where we right our feelings in a book every Tuesday and wensday and in the meantime you also read “Kevin come on ugh! Just join the group” “I told you I’m not looking forward for any clubs” “I know but…ughhh if you don’t join I’m gonna leave because your my Best friend” “wait…fine it’s only because you love this group and if you leave it then your world would be torn apart”[the next day/Tuesday] “oh this is Kevin you guys” “umm hello” “hi I’m diara” “hi! I’m palina!” It was after school in a little shed inside the shed they had decorated it was yet little but comfortable with a pink fluffy carpet and a bing bag you sit on and a little table and pillows like medium and small and big lined up against the wall and there’s a door that leads to a bathroom “this looks nice for a shed that’s small” I say and Lilly says “well it’s not much really” “yeah right” then diara said “well I bought the stuff”then palina said “I had the idea” it was sounding like a competition so I calmed it down by saying”uhh well you all did something at least” and that settled it [2 hours later at home] it’s time to write your feelings what will you write?

[next day] whenever it was time to share what we all wrote the person you chose was very happy but the others weren’t [1 hour later I took a picture so we never forget this group] while me and Lilly was talking she mentioned a joke well she said it was she said “imagine that everyone else was dead in the group and then she said just kidding but I wondered why she said that because that could be offensive to some of them but then palina shared some of her sandwich it was really good I loved it it had baloney and cheeses and mayo on it we all went on our first group field trip and we went to a pool,a indoor pool since it’s still spring not summer and we had lots of fun we ate ice cream and pizza they also had a soccer court which Diara crushed me in I never knew she was that good then I was also helping them with there math so like tutoring but funner there all kinda bad at math and gets mostly c’s on there report card for math so I helped them and we went home but they all said I’ll dreamm about you tonight before I left and it gave me the chills but I never questioned it I thought it was just them being nice or funny.

Lily begged me for her to have a sleep over and I said “why” and she said “just because! Please”

I finally said “yes” later at 6:00 PM she came over and brought lots of snacks and we talked about the group and then she said “your very fit for your age “and I didn’t know is what she ment cause I’m only 15 so I asked “what do you mean?” Then she says “I’m sorry I-i I’m just such a clutz I never know what to say I-im horrible” then I say “your not horrible your funny and I think your not a clutz” she says “yeah your right”with a little smile i couldn’t read then the next day when it was time for the book club the girls were saying “lily is such a clutz” now I know we where she got that thought From “she’s not a clutz!” Then they say chill it’s not our fault she’s a clutz and then polina says “Diara your the clutz I’m so focused and careful” then Diara says “I’m so careful you tripped while walking on the way here!” Polina says “yeah cause you bumped me?!” “Guys calm down we’re all clutz!” Then polina holds my right hand while in front of me and says “well your not a clutz” and then Lily comes in and says “wow your new best friend? Polina nice choice!” And she walked out and I ran after her “what do you mean ,your my best friend?! There just friends” Lily says “I USED TO CLIMB ON YOUR BACK,YOU USED TO LET ME HOLD YOUR HAND AND PLAY WITH YOUR HAND YOU USED TO LET ME LAY ON YOUR SHOULDER WHEN I WAS TIRED

NOT HER BUT I WALK IN AND SEE HER HOLDING YOUR HAND WHILE TALKING DID YALL HAVE TO HOLD HANDS I WAS THERE NOT HER I WAS HERE BEFORE HER GO BACK TO POLINA I DONT CARE HAVE FUN!” “NO I WONT C-cause you were there for me not polina I knew you since 4 I just met Polina yesterday It was such a good time” my eyes starts watering “I messed it up but please she’s just a friend your my best friend please understand p-please!” I sniffle but then she walks away my face goes red as I walk home and as soon as I’m home I jump on my bed and start crying as the salty tears dig into the comfy sheets of my bed and I don’t return to book club in 3 days but on the third day Polina knocks on my door and says “hello? I know your here” then I walk downstairs to open the door “what?” Polina says “I just wanna say sorry that I caused you trouble and I didn’t mean it but hiding away from the world isn’t gonna fix it it’s just gonna make you isolated and soon you’ll question yourself am I weird and soon enough you’ll think that so this is not the answer so please come back” “fine” then she hugs me tight and I walk with her back to the shed then Lily says “hi Polina where did you go-“ then she locks eyes on mine and shows that mischievous smile I missed those 3 days and she comes and hug me as her feet is lifted from the ground as I hug her ,Lily says “I’m so sorry I missed you and you didn’t mess up I did you have friends just like me I just overthought it but I’m so happy you came back I thought you hated me!” “That’s
