"My birthday that I was preparing for, turns into a bloody day instead."

Renna Moragan's 11th birthday is around the corner. She's been preparing day and night for this day, but when the day came tragedy struck hard.

The birthday celebration is about to begin,

when suddenly a strange man walks in the banquet hall wearing a black cloak while holding his book. Everyone in the hall looks at the man with confusion and the man said something that is only he himself can hear, and then a big black dark circle was formed behind the man, and many men in black robe's with a sword in their hands emerges from the dark circle.

The Man in a black cloak looked at Renna and said in a lower voice "Kill everyone in sight, except for the boy and that girl" The Man said while pointing at Renna, then the Man vanished into thin air.

The men in a black robe started to attack the people in the Banquet hall, everyone was screaming and running for their lives but Renna looked like a statue who can't even process on what was going on around her, she looked around seeing her guest being killed In front, one after another but Renna was speechless her mind was blank.

When she regained her self.....it was already too late, everyone was already laying on the ground covered by their blood. Renna walked slowly to the center of the hall while looking around at the lifeless bodies, she fell on her knees not even bothered by the blood on the floor. Renna looks at her hand covered by the blood of the people.

"How?... Who?... WHA- what just happened? Why did this happened?.... Who did this?... Ho-How could their.... be someone this cruel and heartless?" She said while looking like an emotionless doll.

Her eyes started to tears up, She couldn't do anything to save them she can only cry for the people she lost.

(3 years later)

"It's been 3 years since that hellish nightmare happened, and I swear to the people who died that day, will get their revenge they needed to the man who did that unforgivable things to them." Cora said while walking in the hallway.

Cora arrived Infront of the office room, she knock at the door "Come in" The man said.

Cora lowers her head for greating and said

"Good afternoon Sir, You called for me?" Cora said respectfully.

"Cora it's been 3 years since you arrived and lived here. Why can't you call me".... "SIR" Cora interrupted.

"I'm really grateful for what you did to me back then, but that's not the reason why I should call you that" Cora said with a straight face.

"AAW... But why can't you just call me Father?" The man said while looking disappointed.

Cora sighed and said "Fine, If I have the courage to say that Sir."

"Really!?" The Man replied with a shining big smile.

"This man In front of me is the one who help me with his student 3 years ago" (Cora)

When Renna was crying the door in the banquet hall opened and an old man and a teenage boy walks in the hall. They looked around to find a horrifying sight they've scene since they walked in.

The old Man Sighed and said with a guilt on his face "We're too late"

"This is horrible" the boy said.

The old Man and the boy walks to Renna they look at her and said.

"Hey, You there" the boy said "You're lucky that you survive this incident." said by the boy

"Keita!" The Old Man said then Punch Keita on the head. "You shouldn't say that rudely to her" said by the old man.

"Ouch!... That hurt's Old man, Geez." Keita said.

The old man bend to his knees to Renna

"What's your name girl?" The old maskedask.

Renna looks at the old man and the boy she hesitate to tell her name.

"Renna Morgan....." She said in a lower and said voice.

"I see, what a beautiful name you have" the old man replied.

"My name is Albert Everhart, you can call me Mister if you're uncomfortable to call me by my name" Albert said with a smile.

Albert reached his hand to Renna and said something on a serious face. "Renna Morgan, your name will be changed into 'Cora Everhart' starting tomorrow."

(BACK TO PRESENT)

"That's how it all started to change everything, thanks to Mr. Albert. Well I prefer calling him Sir instead of Mister, And now he wants me to call him father."

*Cora's thoughts*

"Ah… By the way Cora this is not the reason why I called you here." MR. Albert said

"I called you here because starting next month, you'll be going to school regularly" He said while looking so proud.

"But that's not all" Mr. Albert said while looking at Cora seriously.

*Cora's thoughts*

"Can you just go straight to the point?"

"I will be assigning you for this mission."

Mr. Albert says.

Cora looked at Mr. Albert.

"This mission is for you to"

Before could Mr. Albert finish his sentence someone slams the door hard and interrupted him. It was Keita, the boy who companies Mr. Albert three years ago.

"Hey! old Man!" Keita shouted

"Are you sure about giving this mission to Cora?! I understand that she's become a lot stronger and smarter than before, but still!!" Keita said while pointing at Mr. Albert with a worried face.

"Keita ...." Mr. Albert says calmly and then

he walks closer too Keita and gives him a smack on the head.

"You idiot! Of course, she won't be going alone!and That's not an excuse to just barge in here unannounced!" Mr. Albert said while making a fist. Keita holds his head because of the punch Mr. Albert gives him.

"Ouch!! That hurts, old man!"

Keita shouted and Mr. Albert looking pissed like it was about to explode at Keita and the two start's arguing.

While the two was arguing, Cora interrupted them.

"Ehem... Are you two finished?" Cora said with a slight smile on her face.

"If not then please excuse me, I have a somewhere else to go too." Cora said.

Before Cora could walk out the room

Mr. Albert called her and said something that only the two of them knows.

"Cora, This mission that I assign you is about that data I told you last week."

Mr. Albert says seriously.

Cora nodded and walks out the room.

"What was that about? And what is this about data or something?" Keita asked.

"This is nothing for an idiot like you"

Mr. Albert says to Keita while grinning.

Keita looked dumb founded and said

"Old Man, you can be a creep sometimes, you know?."

"Huh!?" Mr. Albert responded

After Keita said that he rush outside the room before could Mr. Albert gives him another punch on the head.

(Outside the company building)

While Cora was walking, she was heading to the Public Library, but she senses something from that dark alley, she walked closer to see on what was she sensing at that alley, and then there was a sudden movement from one of the garbage bin.

As she walks closer and closer the garbage bin just keep getting louder and louder, and then suddenly a cat jumped out from the garbage bin giving Cora a fright.

"Ahhh!... That scared me." Cora said looking like a scared chicken.

Cora looks up the window and saw something. A dark figure was watching from inside the window that gives her goosebumps, she quickly walks out the alley.

*Cora's thoughts*

"Who was that just now? And what was that dark aura? It's giving me goosebumps"

(3 minutes later)

Cora arrives at the Public Library.

As she walks inside the library one girl named Pelina Rosewood approached her. This girl has been her friend since Mr. Albert takes her as part of his family.

"You're finally Cora, I've been waiting for a half and hour now" Pelina says.

"Sorry, Mr. Albert called me earlier to talk about the school where I'm going to transfer next month." Cora replied

Both girls sat down and starts reading from their books. As they read Pelina ask Cora.

"So you're going to transfer school next month ha?... What was the name of the school again?" Pelina ask.

"Meraidian High School" Cora replied

"Meraidian ha..." Pelina also replied, but after she said the name of the school, she realizes that the school where Cora was going to transfer is a top 1 most famous and intelligent school in the whole wide world.

"Me-me-Meraidian High School?!!" Pelina Shouted.

The librarian heard the load voice Pelina and made the librarian angry and approach their table and said to be quiet.

"We're sorry Ma'am ..."

Cora and Pelina apologizes

The librarian returns to her desk.

"Why did you shout Pelina? We've almost got kicked out, because of you" Cora says.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to. It's just that, I'm just surprised okay... That school has been my dream to get in too, but my parents won't let me. Don't know why though" Pelina said while looking like a sad duck.

"Why though?... In your own mind Pelina" Cora ask

Pelina thinks for a second and respond with

"Mmm... I never thought about that, But maybe-just maybe it involves of two companies?" Pelina says

"Companies?" Cora ask

"Yeah, will the two of as are part of the company called 'Global Technology INC (GT. Inc)

and our company's enemy is called

Nova Technology INC (NT. INC) this two companies has been nemesis since century, and the Meraidian School is under NovaTech company.' If that was the case haha, I'm not sure though" Pelina says.

*Cora's eyes wided*

"Meraidian School, under NovaTech?

Cora said in a lower voice.

Cora listened on what Pelina said about the two companies that has been enemies for century, so Cora realizes something. After talking to Pelina, Cora hurries back to Mr. Albert's office to discuss something.

Earlier after Cora and Keita left the office

Mr. Albert returns to his desk, he hears a sound of heels and then a lady suddenly walks in the office.

"Hello there, You look healthier than before." The lady says.

*Mr. Albert looked at her*

"Father." The lady said with a smile

"You're here, Octivia. Welcome back"

Mr. Albert said while writing something.

Octivia puts her hands on the table and said.

"Is that all? *Teary eyes* Is that all you're going to say to your daughter, that has been far from you for 5 years?" Octivia said dramatically.

While Octivia was whining Mr. Albert just looks at her with annoyed facs. Octivia saw her father's expression, she blink twice and the stopped her dramatic act, she then sat down and turns to serious mode and she said something to Mr. Albert that well make him shock.

It's about the incident that happened 3 years ago on Cora's Birthday. She gave him the report paper about that incident, In the content there was a report that six people has survived that tragedy and Cora was one of them which gives Mr. Albert a shock, because Cora was the only person who was there in the banquet hall and no one else.

"Is this report confirmed by the authorities?" Mr. Albert ask.

"Yes" Octivia replied

Mr.Albert sighed and said

"So... *He puts the report paper aside*

I was right about something."

Octivia looked at his father with curiosity, and she asked her father of what he was right about and Mr. Albert answered with.

"Well, this is only a theory, but I think that girl is the one who saved those five people"

"Ha!? Why would you think that your right about that?" Octivia said with doubtful expression.

"Octivia, *He looked at her with serious face* When we entered the hall there was many people laying died and five to nine suspicious mens wearing black robe's which they called assassin's was also laying died, and on top of that Cora's eyes was red like the crimson."

Octivia was shock on what he hears from her father.

"Crimson? Isn't he a spirit? That's been wondering around the world for a thousand years?" Octivia asked

"Yes, but his not a wondering spirit now. It all started 80 years ago, there was a family who offered him a vessel a human vessel and in exchange for his power." Mr. Albert replied

The room was silent for a second and Octivia was shock to hear this and then said something that would ease the silent in the room.

"But she's a member of our family now right? Along with Keita, you take them as if they're your own children *smiles*" Octivia said while looking at He's father.

Mr. Albert looked at her with a gentle smile Octivia stand's up said goodbye to her father, but before she leaves she said something to her father.

"Ah. Father don't stress yourself okay?"

Octivia said with soft smile then leaves.

Mr. Albert watched her daughter leaves the room, he sighed and said something in a lower voice.

"Haaah... Crimson ha?..... *Smiles* Is Renna your lost daughter Clarissa?"

(Going back to Cora)

It was already 8 in the evening when she arrives Infront of Mr. Albert's office, she was about to knock the door but she hassitate for a moment because she was afraid to ask about the data and the relationship between GlobalTech and NovaTech companies she was afraid that would make Mr. Albert unhappy So she decided to ask him tomorrow.

She was heading to her room when someone called her name she turns around to see Keita running the hallway panting.

"Cora!" Keita shouted while running

"There you are, I've been looking for you, you know?" Keita said while panting.

"Huh?... Why would you look for me in the night? You could say it to me tomorrow morning, you know?" Cora says

"But this is important" Keita says

"Look if it's about the mission that was assigned to me. You don't have to worry about that Keita." Cora sad with a smile

"But this mission is dangerous." Keita said with worried face

"How could it be dangerous Keita? It's a school it shouldn't be that bad." Cora says

"But, still..." Keita said with a worried face

"And Keita, this is not like my first mission, you know? *Smiles* So if it's getting dangerous you would rescue me right? Like last time... Well, if I need one though" Cora said with confidence

"And besides I'm not going alone, and I'm going to ask Mr. Albert tomorrow who would I be going with." Cora said

After Cora said those Keita feels at ease they talked for a while and when it's getting late they return's to their rooms.

"Ohh, It's getting late. I'll be going back now Cora, I have a business to attend to tomorrow" Keita said.

Before they return's to their rooms Cora called Keita and said.

"Keita, Don't worry to much about me, okay?" Cora said with a smile

"Well, I can't promise that. Bye now *waves*"

And they both return to their own room's.

In the distance of the house of Everhart there was someone watching from the three. Wearing blue cloak with a sword, he looks like a knight but a mysterious one.
