It was too quiet...too perfect.
Taehyung sat at the long dining table, staring down at his untouched breakfast.
The food looked exactly the same as every other day—perfectly plated, carefully arranged, lifeless.
Just like everything else in this house.
Across from him, his father flipped through the newspaper, calm and composed.
His mother sipped her coffee, elegant as always.....all Normal.
As if nothing was about to change.
But Taehyung’s fingers tightened around his spoon. He hadn’t slept.
Not even for a second.
The words had been sitting in his chest all night, heavy, suffocating, clawing to get out.
He had practiced them in his head-again and again-but now that the moment was here…
They refused to come out....His leg bounced under the table.
He pressed his heel harder against the floor.

His voice came out quieter than he expected....Seojoon didn’t look up.
