“You need to memorize all the functions and parts of the body to be able to get a high grade in our test tomorrow.”

“Its too boring to memorize all that. Its so confusing.” Sheele replied

“If you don’t follow what I said, then I will never tutor you again.” I scared her

“No, no, I will memorize it all then you’ll teach me again tomorrow.” she replied

Our conversation was cut by the honk of a car.

“There’s my service. See you tomorrow Chelsea.” she leave then waved at me

I just smiled back at her then focused on reading my notes. Few minutes later, I finished reading my notes. Then I checked my phone because it has notification.

“Oh shoot, the new volume of “Once In a Lifetime” will be released today!” I shouted

I immediately packed all my stuff then I hurriedly run to the bookstore.

“F*ck, there was too many people. It will be impossible to buy that book now.” I frowned

I was about to leave when there was a lady bumped into me. She didn’t even pay attention to where she is walking.

“It would be nice to say sorry.” I shouted but she didn’t even pay attention

My stuff fall over the ground so I picked all of it. Then suddendly I saw a paper bag in the ground. I believe it is from the lady who bumped into me. I pick it then open it. I was startled to see that it was the 15th volume of “Once In a Lifetime”

I looked around to see if the lady was still near but she’s not.

“Should i turn this over to the police station? But this is the book that I wanted.” I looked at the book

“Finders keepers.” I said then hide the book in my bag

I went straight home. I go straight to my room then take a bath as fast as I can so i can read the book.

After I take a bath I lay in my bed while holding the book. I was mesmerized at the cover because Luke(the main character) is so handsome here. I literary kissed the cover of the book.

I was about to open it then someone knocked at the door.

“For pete’s sake. What’s the matter now?” I asked myself while walking towards the door

I turned the door knob and saw mom outside my room.

“Its time to eat.” she said

I usually smiled happily at mom when he called me to eat but now my smile is kinda fake cause I’ve been wanting to read the book since I got home and now another diversion?

I go down to the dining area and sat at the chair. Everything in the table is my favorite but still I cannot wait to read my book so I just grab a few food then started to eat.

I finish my dinner earlier than I always do and I think mom noticed it.

“Aren’t these your favorite food?” she asked

“Is the food taste bad so you didn’t even touch it?” mom added

“No mom, its delicious but I’m kinda full because I just ate pasta before I come home.” I lied

“Next time you shouldn’t eat before you go home, that will mess your dinner.” she replied

“Mom I’m going to my room. I already finished eating and I’m also kinda sleepy now.” I lied again

I went up to my room then locked the door. I lay down the bed then grabbed the book.

“Now is the time. We’ll meet again Luke.”

Luke and Jessica was in the mall.

“Babe, can we buy some clothes over there. Cause my clothes are already old and I want some new clothes.” Jessica said while she was acting cute to Luke

“Okay babe, I’ll do anything for you.” Luke said then he pinched Jessica’s cheek

They entered the store and Jessica hurriedly walk towards the women’s section. She was already picking some clothes then Luke followed her.

“Babe, I’ll just go to the comfort room.” Luke said

“Sure babe, I’ll wait here.” Jessica replied

Luke went to the comfort room. After he use the comfort room he buys some drinks for him and Jessica.

At the alley, he saw Jessica with some man. As he walk closer, he was shocked when Luke saw that Jessica kiss that man in the lips.

They hugged each other then Jessica noticed Luke. She let go of the man then walk towards Luke.

“Luke, its not what you think it is. He’s just my friend.” Jessica said

Luke is really pissed that Jessica still can lie to him even though he clearly saw everything.

“Im sorry Jessica but I think its over between us.” Luke said then he turned his back on Jessica

I was startled when mom and dad came into my room looking so nervous.

“What happened Chelsea? Are you hurt? Its there a thief in the house?” Dad asked

Mom sat beside me and examine if I have any injury or whatsoever.

“Why are the both of you here?” I asked out of confusion

“We came to check you the moment we heard that you screamed. We thought that something bad is happening.” mom replied

“So what actually happened?” dad asked

“Its nothing, its just the story that I-“

“I should go back downstairs, I need to finish washing the dished.” mom stated

“I’ll go back doing my proposal for the client.” dad added

Its true that they are doing something else. Mom was still wearing the apron and dad was still holding some papers when they entered the room.

They leave the room like nothing has happened.

“Don’t they want to hear the story? Well I should continue reading the book.”

I placed the book at the table beside my bed. Then starred at the ceiling.

“I wonder, if I got to be Luke’s girlfriend. I’m so sure that I will never ever betray him and I will always love him.”

“But that can’t be possible. I’ll just sleep and see Luke in my dreams.”

“Goodnight Luke.” then I kissed the cover of the book that has Luke in it

“Chelsea, I know its still to early but I don’t know if I still can hide it from you.”

“Can you be my girlfriend.” Luke said while he hold my hands

“Yes, I will be you girlfriend.” I answered happily

Luke hugged me tightly. I can really feel that he really like me. Then Luke starred at my eyes. I was looking at his eyes too. His eyes are so bright and it looks like those eyes are only going to look at me.

His head was getting closer to me. I don’t know what to do.

“Is he going to kiss me? What should I do? How should I react? Its too fast!”

I still don’t know what to do so I just close my eyes. I was waiting for something to happen but I’ve been keeping my eyes close but there is not a thing happening.

I was about to open my eyes to look at him.

And the freaking alarm clock just rang loudly.

I woke up angrily while looking at that stupid alarm clock.

“Its your fault! You wake me up at my bestest dream of my life.”

I was still looking angrily at the alarm clock but when I calm down, I saw the time in it. Its 7:00 am.

“Shoot, I’m going to be late!” I shouted then ran to the bathroom to take a bath

The cold water is not affecting me anymore. Most of the times that I take a bath in the morning it always gives me chill but now is not the time to be chilled cause I’m going to be late.

After I worr my school uniform, I went downstairs to pick my shoes. I wear them fast cause I can’t waste any second now.

I was about to go outside when mom called me.

“Aren’t you going to have some breakfast?” mom asked

I turned around and saw mom looking at me. Mom’s rule for me is to have a breakfast every morning before I go to school.

“Mom, I’m going to be late. Can I just skip breakfast for now? I promise I will eat lots of -“

“No, its either you will eat breakfast then go to school or you won’t go to school now.” mom replied then looked at me with her serious face

Well I can’t do anything now, mom is going to he angry at me if I will skip breakfast.

I was towards the dining area then sit at the chair. I filled my plate with the bacon and fried egg and a little portion of rice. I need to go to school now so I will just eat a little now.

“That’s too little young lady, at your age you should eat more so you will continue to grow.” mom said then filled up my plate with more bacons, egg and rice

I can’t do anything. I just ate every single food at my plate as fast as I could. The hot rice does not feel hot anymore.

After I finished eating, I was about to go outside when mom called me again.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” mom asked

I pretty sure that I don’t have anything to forget. Maybe I forgot to ran fast cause I’m late?

“It’s your bag young lady.” mom added

I looked at my back and see that my bag is not there. I saw it in the chair where I sat. I walk towards the table to get it.

“I forgot, I’m so focused on going to school that’s why I forgot. Hehe.” i answered while I scratch my head

I wear my backpack then leave our house. I was walking calmly when I remembered that we have a test today. I looked at my watch. 7:30 am

“Ah! I’m going to be late!” I ran to the bus stop and thankfully there was a bus there

Our school is not that far so I arrived easily. I was running the hell out of me just to get to class. My room was in the 3rd floor of the building and I have to take the stairs to go up.

I’m very tired, I just ran up the stairs. I’m at the front of my room. I looked at my watch and saw that I’m 10 minutes late. So I knocked at the door then enter.

Everyone was looking at me and that’s noting but I saw that our professor was looking at me. I feel so nervous and I don’t even know what to explain.

“I’m sorry for being late for your class.” I humbly said to the prof.

She just nod then I went to my chair. I saw Sheele and sit beside her.

“Why are you late? You haven’t been late since you study here right?” Sheele asked

“Don’t even ask about it. I went to so much just this morning.” I answered

“Prepare a sheet of paper for the test.” our professor announced

“I didn’t even have the time to scan mo notes again.”

“You don’t even need to review Chelsea. Its you, I bet you even memorize every single word in your notes.” Sheele answered

The quiz was not that hard and even though I’m late, I still got a perfect score on the test. After giving us the test, the professro leaves immediately.

“I have a lots of mistakes in our test. Thakfully I’m still at the passing score.” Sheele said

“That’s why I told you to review and memorize the notes right?” I answered her

“Just forget about that, I just am not as good at you.” she replied
