"Her heart thumped wildly against her rib cage. She felt like a lump was stucked in her throat, hands gripping the steering wheel till her knuckles turned white, cold sweat trickled down her face like drops of water. Her throat felt dry, gulping her saliva, mumbling incoherent words, she stared at her phone, her eyes bore into it, filled with desperation, her thoughts fumbled like heap of clothes. PRING!!! The phone rang, her hands shaking while trying to pick the call.

The rain poured heavily as Mia sprinted through the dark alley, footsteps echoing behind her like stampede.

"Damn it, I need to finish this mission" she muttered,
her thoughts spiraled through her head like water, clothes clinging to her body like a second skin, slowing down her movement, though she was distracted by her thoughts, her legs seemed to have a mind of their own. Soon the footsteps behind her echoed faintly, but she still ran with her heart beating so fast like it was protesting why it was being kept in the rib cage, then she heard a gunshot, boom!boom!bomb!, it tore through the like sharp knives, her hands gripped her black leather bag like it was water in a desert.

"I can't lose it...the children..it the key..yes I will keep going",she mumbles,
dragging her already exhausted body, her legs now screaming in protests. suddenly she heard a familiar voice, 'MIA' the voice called,she stumbles towards the direction of the familiar voice, her breathing becoming erratic, her mind fuzzy,eyes hazy,she tried to shout but her throat felt like a dry log of wood,the voice grew closer,then she said,

On a sunny day, a group of children could be seen playing on a playground, laughter and screams could be heard in the surrounding, children chasing one another, parents smiling at the sight of their children happiness.

On the way home Ann walked kicking pebbles as she taught about the strange uncle, before she could lift her head up, she was suddenly held from the back, her nose covered panic course through her nerves until the smell of chloroform hit her nose, she collapsed into darkness.
