The sunlight peeks into the bedroom down the obsidian-wood rimmed glass-fronted windows, The stretched sunlight rays casting down onto the polished floor.
Lighting up the room as it reflects into the floor.
Faint sounds of footsteps echo from the outside of the bedroom door, steps grow louder, approaching.
A faint knock raps onto the door followed by a soft voice;
"Scarlet, open the door"
The girl shifted on the bed, the bed creaks faintly under her weight, she covered her face with a pillow, her face digging in.
"Damn it" she muttered under her breath,
The knock on the door raps harder this time, the voice now firm.
"open the door, Scarlet, wake up."
The girl sat up, her hair messed up like she'd come from a battlefield, her face dazed with sleepiness.
"Aghh" she groaned, frustrated
"these people won't let me be" she complains.
She pushed herself off the bed, yanking away the blanket as if it had offended her personally, her footsteps echoed hard as she slammed them onto the floor while walking to the door.
Her face etched into a horrible expression as if she'd kill anyone who dares to come to her sight, frustrated and annoyed she gripped her fingers around the threshold while groaning again as one more knock appeared.
Finally, she opened the door, the door opens with a creaking sound that annoyed her more.
There, was standing a woman with furrowed brows as she looked at the girl's state.
" Heavens, Scarlet you are still not ready?" the woman said with a calm yet firm voice.
"Mom, why are you bothering me!" she exclaimed dramatically, falling over her knees.
"I came back from the City, just three days ago, and you aren't even letting me sleep!" she complained, faking her sobs.
The woman bent down enough to reach for her ear, she grasped her left ear between her thumb and forefinger, twisting it while tilting upwards
She winched as the pain throbs "Ahh! Mom! Don't do that!"
Her mother left her ear, which instantly turned red, she spoke;
"Silly girl, don't you forget that The Alpha of Shadow Pack is visiting us today"
She continues with a calm voice "The Alpha Castien Blake would be arriving by the Noon, and it's already 10:00 A.M."
She added firmly "get ready for the afternoon events, we will be waiting downstairs. All the preparations are done, and we expect dignity and grace in the meeting"
The girl groaned, yet obeyed her with a forced nod.
The door closed shut with a heavy thud as she slammed it close.
She then, headed towards the bathroom attached with the room, she approached the bathroom door, opening it while her expressions stayed terrible.
She scoffs "This is ridiculous."
she added. "Why such preparations and blah blah blah, for someone who almost burnt out pack to ashes?"
She stormed into the bathroom, the fluorescent light flickering to life as she slammed the door behind her.
The sudden quiet was a welcome respite from the chaos swirling outside.
She marched over to the sink, the cool ceramic a soothing presence beneath her fingertips. Leaning forward, she splashed cold water onto her face, letting it seep into her pores, washing away the frustration.
The droplets trickled down her cheeks, mingling with the tears of frustration she'd held back.

...Chapter No. 2...
..."FL Introduction"...
She reached for the crimson towel hanging from the chrome ring beside the mirror, its softness a gentle caress against her skin.
She patted her face dry, the vibrant red a lively contrast to the traditional colour of her Pack. As she wiped away the water, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror— eyes puffy, hair a mess, and a scowl still lingering on her face.
She let out a weak laugh, shaking her head. The towel retained a faint scent of her favorite lavender soap, a small comfort in a chaotic moment.
"Ah, well Good Morning." she spoke.
"I am cute, am I not?" she asked with a mischievous wink at her reflection.
She continued "Well, well, let me introduce myself to you all."
She leaned down to open the drawer, the wooden handle creaking softly as she pulled it out. The familiar scent of toothpaste and mouthwash wafted up, a comforting ritual in the midst of chaos.
She grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste, the cool tube yielding to her squeeze as she applied a generous blob of minty gel to the bristles.
"Well, I am Scarlet Alkov. 19 and I just passed my first year of the college" she tells with a calm voice.
"I am in my second year, opted in mathematics, oh! I love this subject!" she exclaimed playfully
"Furthermore, I am the daughter of an Alpha. Alpha Robert Alkov." she added.
"My mother is Luna Stella Alkov. My Pack is The Garnet Pack." she stated casually.
"I am back here at my Pack for the first time in 16 years. I was sent to the city for educational purposes when I was 3."
she informed, her voice became blank in this sentence.
"But only for a few weeks I think?" she questioned, her voice flat, remarking the inevitable.
"These are my first summer holidays I will be spending here" she uttered with a blankly flat rejoice.
She looked into the eyes of her own reflection and shook her head a weak almost faltered smile played on her lips
She began to brush, the tingling sensation and fresh flavor started to clear the cobwebs from her mind.
The rhythmic motion of brushing her teeth was almost meditative, the minty freshness a small but welcome distraction.
As she rinsed and spat, the warm water trickling down her face seemed to wash away some of her frustration. She turned the shower on, letting the water heat up, and stepped under the gentle stream, feeling the tension melt away.
Wrapped in a plush towel, she stepped out of the bathroom, the cool air a gentle caress on her damp skin. She padded over to her walk-in closet, the soft carpet a luxury beneath her feet.
"Now, let me tell you what's going on today" Scarlet cleared her throat.
"Today my Dad has invited to the most powerful and richest among all the Alphas." she Stated
"The Alpha Castien Blake" she declared, her voice turning almost professional.
She continued sincerely "His Pack, The Shadow Pack and Him are known for their Ruthless and savage reputation"
Her fingers latched around the threshold of the closet, clicking it open.
"He has won every single battle he'd fought, richest, strongest and bravest they call him, though only a few literally few and countable people have ever seen his face, that doesn't include me"
She speculated, while her eyes were searching for a suitable dress.
" Hence, my father invited him for a truce, because there's a war ongoing between our packs and Garnet Pack have become so much weak and vulnerable " she voiced.
