It's been a couple of months since school started
*On a random day, In First years' Class D*

*Sitting on a corner by the window, Book spread open on the desk. The page is filled with doodles. My concentration fully at the weather outside*
Classmates are chatting with each other
Some even doing small tricks
Some teasing their friends
And here's our girl from a whole different world

*In mind - Sky is blue... I have no clue... Gotta study.. There isn't a buddy... I'm being dumb...*
The silence didn't last long

*A tall guy bursts into the classroom like he owns the place. His grin crooked. His voice loud as his gaze sweeps the whole classroom* "Guys! Who wanna-" *His voice lowers as his gaze lands on a white haired girl on the corner.* "-have a sparring..."
Elsa
*I remain in my own world. Ignoring everything*
Ajax
*His grin turns into a smirk, He walks straight to her desk and leans on a nearby desk* "Yo!"
Elsa
*I get startled. I stand up immediately. I look straight. Not at anyone* "Y-Yes! What!?"
Ajax
*He quickly waves his hands, reassuring. His smirk turning into a smile* "Hey Hey! Don't have to be scared... I'm Tartaglia!"
Elsa
*I nod without looking at him, I sit on my chair.* "I don't actually care. I have to study for my exams" *My tone is laced with annoyance* "Better Leave"
Ajax
*He blinks. Once. Twice. Then chuckles softly. He lifts his head, looking at the window* "Yeah... You're seriously 'Studying'"
Elsa
*I gasp, A faint pink dusting my cheeks, I quickly close my book where the doodles are* "N-None of your business!"
Ajax
*He grins* "Oh Wait... You don't have magic?"
Elsa
*I stiffen, My composure cracks. My lips part, but words does not come out. I simply nod*
Ajax
*He nods thoughtfully, He lifts his hand, hydro energy forms around those long fingers* "Not even like this?"

*I nod again* "I... Cannot cast..."
Ajax
*He frowns* "I see... What do you do then?" *He crosses his arms*

*I lower my gaze, Voice low* "T-Theory-Only... Just books..."

*His gaze fingers on her a second longer than necessary, I grins* "Wanna be frnds?"

*My gaze sharpen ever so slightly. I do not say anything. I stand up and take the book in my hand. I walk past him and walk out of the class*

*His grin freezes. He shakes his head and follows, In a few long strides, He's matched my pace, He walks as his hands rest inside his pockets. Casual. Confident. Care free.* "You know what? You're actually... Interesting." *He walks along with her on the corridor, Slowing down his steps to match hers*
Elsa
*I pause, I lift my head to look up at him. For the first time, My red eyes meet his blue bright irises* "Ta... Tag..." *I tilt my head* "What tag?"
Ajax
*He blinks. Then chuckles. He corrects smoothly* "Tartaglia~ " *He grins as he looks down at me* "So... You finally want to talk, huh? What happened to that defiance a moment ago?" *He tilts his head*
Elsa
*I don't say a word, I simply walk past. I stop at a teacher*
Yes, Jean was on the corridor
Elsa
*I look at Jean, My eyes wide, Voice stays like a child complaining. I point at Tartaglia without even looking at him* "Miss. Jean, I was studying for exams... And that guy was disturbing me."
Jean
*She smiles softly at me* "I will deal with that, Miss. Elsa, Good luck with your exams Study well."
Elsa
*I nod politely* "Thank you." *I walk away, I give him a smug side-eye. I turn my head, looking straight that the impact makes my hair wave* "Hmph." *I walk straight*
Ajax
*He clench his fists* "Miss. Jean, I was just-"
Jean
*Her gaze narrows* "She is not your classmate, And you were practically disturbing her studies"
Ajax
*His eyes widen, Unable to protest* "I- She- Well..."
Jean
*She nods* "Another complain, I will have to deal with it more properly" *Her tone sharp*

*I straightens immediately* "Understood!"
Jean
*Her gaze rests on him for a heartbeat, She nods and walks past*

*He bows* "Have a good day!"

*My smile soft. Steps careful and Casual*

*I bump into someone. I apologize immediately* "My apologies! Are you alr-" *I pause mid sentence as I lifted my head to look who it is, My smile turns more forced. I clench my fists* "What. Is. It. Now?"

*He grins, Too casual like it was nothing* "Well... I am good, Glad you're concerned"

*My tone turns blunt* "No. I am not..."
Ajax
*He feigns innocence* "You wound me..."
Elsa
*I nod* "Glad. So... What is it? Ta... Tartaglia...?"
Ajax
*His eyes widen in surprise. His grin turns crooked* "How about we have lunch together?"
Elsa
*I let out a humourless laugh* "How sweet. I decline."
Ajax
*He crouches slightly to be eye level with me* "We'll make a fine deal, Miss. Theory-Only." *He smirks* "A lunch together wouldn't hurt, right?" *He tilts his head*
Elsa
*My eye twitches in irritation. I Chuckle oh-so-delighted* "Fine. Lunch... Together" *The last word rolls off my tongue like tasting poison. I regain my composure, I nod* "Fine. After that? You will not pester me around, Alright!?"
Ajax
*He nods and straighten himself* "Sure Sure~"
Elsa
*I cross my arms and walk towards the cafeteria*

*He matches her pace. Hands folded behind his back* "I wonder..."

*Before he can ask anything, I cut him off with a blunt tone* "No. Don't. You don't get to question me, That is the deal."
Ajax
*He bends slightly as we walk, He grins* "So... I get to stay?"

*I don't answer, It is neither a yes nor a no. We reach the cafeteria.*

*I walk to a empty table in a corner*

*He tugs her sleeve gently. Not forcing. Correcting. He points to another table* "We eat together~" *He grins*

*I blink. I tilt my head. I ask as my gaze shift to the table he's pointing, My gaze narrow. I ask suspiciously* "Who exactly is the 'we'?"
Ajax
*He grins* "Don't you know? Frnds!"
Elsa
*Dead-pan. I glare at him. My voice edged* "Fine. Just. This. Lunch."
Ajax
*He raises his brows and nods, A quiet approval laced with teasing* "Sure Sure~ Atleast be nice, will ya? I promise to not interrogate, hm?"

*I nod, I walk towards the table.*
Three guys are already there
Venti
*Leaning on his chair lazily like someone who's been waiting all eternity*
Heizou
*His eyes sharp, He glances at the girl with white hair who's trying so hard to remain calm*
Scaramouche
*He's sitting on his chair, His expression bored*
Elsa
*I finally reach the table, I lift my hand. I smile softly, Voice cheerful.* "Elsa... Nice to have Met you." *My gaze softens* "I'm a mermaid!"
Venti
*He beams, He waves his hand* "Woahh! That's cool!"
Ajax
*He just stares at her* "You are a what?"
Scaramouche
*His gaze narrow*
Heizou
*He smirks* "Interesting, Miss Elsa"
Elsa
*I tilt my head* "Well... I thought a joke will be nice? For starters?"
Heizou
*He lets out a chuckle, Gesturing her to sit*
Venti
*He looks at her with wide eyes* "That was a joke?"
Elsa
*I nod, A simple gesture* "Yes. Though you look like you'd believe anything that people say"
Venti
*He points at himself* "Elsa... Are you saying I look gullible?"
Heizou
*His lets out a soft chuckle* "I cannot disagree... That is a fact."
Ajax
*He is still a little suspicious, He sits on the chair beside her* "But... The mermaid thing was quite believable." *He grins*
Scaramouche
*He clicks his tongue* "All of you are idiots, If she were a mermaid, This cafeteria should've been under an ocean"
Venti
*He chuckles and Looks at me* "Actually I was thinking of asking which ocean"
Ajax
*He tilts his head* "You can laugh?"
Heizou
*He smirks* "An appreciateable question, I would say"
Elsa
*I exhale softly* "So... We don't do introductions?"

*I mentally scold myself for asking that*
Heizou
*He looks at her, He smirks soften* "Where are my manners? I got so intrigued by a 'mermaid' joke"
Ajax
*He grins* "She is hard to deal with, y'know? She didn't even tell me her name when I asked... Now she's introducing herself... Interesting"
Scaramouche
*He clicks his tongue* "Scaramouche... Scara. If you want it short"
Venti
*His eyes widen* "Woah Woah! Someone's being soft!!"
Scaramouche
*His gaze narrow at Venti as he crossed his arms across his chest*
Venti
*Venti chuckles and looks at me, Voice bright and cheerful* "Venti! I'm a bard... I like to write poems!!"
Elsa
*I smile at him* "I'd hear one later"

*He tilts his head, Clearly not expecting that* "Wait!" *He looks at her* "You! You didn't even bother to tell me your name and asked me to leave, Now you're saying you'd listen to poems!?"
Elsa
*I shrug* "He's not loud like some people"
Heizou
*He coughs into his fist hiding a laugh. He clears his throat* "Miss Elsa, I'm Shikanoin Heizou, I like to observe" *He smiles*
Ajax
*I looks at her, His eyes glint in a way that definitely means trouble* "So... What made you so... Frndly?"
Elsa
*I shrug, my gaze shift to the fried fish on the table. I immediately stand up. My chair's legs creak at the floor. I swallow hard*
Heizou
*His gaze sharpen, He looks at my* "Now... That's new."
Venti
*He tilts his head* "What happened? Elsa, Anything wrong?"
Elsa
*I sit back on the chair, I take a deep breath* "I am a vegan..."
Scaramouche
*He clicks his tongue and glances away* "Tch... Pathetic"
Venti
*His gaze soft* "Elsa... It's alright..." *He smiles at her* "Like strawberries?"
Elsa
*I look at him, I nod* "Sure..."
Venti
*He chuckles and casually swaps the fried fish with the bowl of salad* "Is that fine?"
Elsa
*I smile, warm and soft* "Venti... Thank you..."
Ajax
*He rolls his eyes, but there is no real bite to it* "Someone's scoring"
Elsa
*I pause mid-stab on a strawberry, I blink. I tilt my head* "Hm? Scoring what?"
Venti
*He chuckles* "Don't worry..."
Heizou
*He smiles at her* "We're chill..."
Scaramouche
*He looks away* "I don't care..."
