Chapter 1
Over there my boyfriend's busy smooching my cousin, and here I am, walking hand-in-hand with my favorite novel.
It's the only thing which provides me peace these days, I'm tired of having to fight with my lover.
I left what? My studies for a backstabber like him.
Sometimes I wish there was someone who'd step up and guide me, I'm tired of facing allegations now.
Clementine River
*sighs and opens the book*
I continue reading from where I'd left, forgetting all about my sorrows and my sufferings.
"—Christopher barely managed to pull himself up when he received yet another blow. His arm was fractured, and his face bleeding heavily, but he would give the world if it meant having Roxanne all to him."
I walk towards the water, immersing myself in its darkness.
"He doesn't seem to mind it, the pain, really. It feels almost surreal that he gets to see the love of his life before he dies.
But Roxanne doesn't match eyes with him the same he does, hers are full of hatred, and seeing that one single emotion etched so widely on her face, his only source of hope disappears."
I step further, until the water dissolves me.
I don't want to read the ending, I've read it once, and it pains me.
So I simply close the book and clutch it to my chest as drown myself.
Goodbye to this pathetic life of Mine, I guess.
And I close my eyes, a smile plastering my face as I drown in this deep ocean.
"Shut up you all, let the expert handle this"

*coughs* Ugh!

I squinted my eyes, peeking up at the bright rays of the sun that hit my face.
Surprisingly, a bunch of boys wrapped in robes hovered over me.

My voice was raspy, from that drowning I guess.

*stands up suddenly*
As I stood up, my strong skull hit one of the boys who had been sitting behind me.

Another one from across replied with a smirk.

The only Ralph I'm aware of is Wreck-It-Ralph.
The boys seemed somewhat confused. They looked at each other expecting one of them to understand her weird talk.

I'm sorry but, there's no way in hell our Ralph can wreck anything.
The guy next to Ralph spoke, ruffling his hair as he stood up as well.

She asked, her voice now better.
Clementine looked up at him, opening her mouth to speak when Derek held up his hand at her face.

To his introduction, Clementine only stared at him dead in the eye.

Derek? It sounds like the name of the female lead's brother's daughter's sister's aunt's cousin's daughter's ex lover.

She looked down to see what was wrong with her simple pair of clothes, but she found no fault.

From the other side, Ralph dressed as a mine worker pops up, shortly waving goodbye before jumping in the chaotic crowd.

On their way to the market, June accidentally bumps into a random man, making him squeak out of pain.
