"Where were you, young lady?" Mrs.Wilson yelled.

"Nowhere! just wandering around," Valerie said exhausted.

"Really? And is this dirt on you?" "Don't tell me you were learning to ride a motorcycle again."

"But mom I want to learn....."

"I already said no! Now don't be such a rebel and go, eat dinner." Mrs.wilson screamed at her daughter.

Valerie goes to her room, not wanting to eat dinner after the encounter with her mother.

"Mrs.Vance, take dinner to her room," Mrs.Wilson said going to her room.

"Okay, Madam." Mrs.Vance, Valerie's nanny said.

Entering into Valerie's room, she said gently, "Hey Val! what are you doing?"

"What a person does in prison," Valerie said sadly.

"This is not a prison Darling, this is your home," Mrs.Vance said, comforting her.

"Who says?"

"Me, now go and clean yourself. You have to eat dinner."

"Okay."

After coming from the bathroom, she wears clothes and starts eating.

"can...can I come in Val." A squeaky voice came from outside the door with a knock. "hmmm, " Valerie said with a mouthful.

"Hello! Mom sends me to give you company. Are you ok with that?" Isaac said.

"yes! but if Mrs.Vance wouldn't have sent you, will you not come to see your friend?"

Valerie smiled at his innocence.

Isaac is a son of Mrs.Edrie Vance. They live at Wilson's Bungalow with Valerie and her mother Morgan Wilson.

Ceasing Isaac, Valerie said, "stop! stop! stop! nobody wanna hear your boring story."

Isaac stares at her not agreeing with her.

"it's not boring. I told you that." Isaac murmurs. "Leave that, tell me what happened today?"

With a sigh, Valerie said, "when I was learning to ride a motorcycle, I crashed with a stranger."

"I thought you learned well !" said Isaac with a questioning look.

"I was riding smoothly, then suddenly I saw a snake on the tree, it was staring at me. That's why I got distracted and the next thing I know is I was lying on the floor and stranger was condemning." Valerie explained.

"First of all, that stranger was cursing and you said nothing! And second of all, we live in a city, there is no snake and as much I remember there is no tree around the corner." Isaac said confused.

"How could you forget the spooky tree?" Valerie said laughing a bit.

"You were around the spooky tree!" Isaac screamed with a shocked and pale look.

Valerie starts laughing because the incident happened when they were small.

"Why are you laughing? there is a ghost in that tree and it tried to bite me! Remember! It's not funny!" Isaac said wondering why Valerie is laughing.

"It was a squirrel, Isaac! You kept your foot on her tail!" Valerie said laughing very hard.

"Her?" Isaac asked confused. "Oh! It was Mrs.Longbottom!" Isaac said realizing.

"Yes, Isaac! that's why she never came near you after that night.

" Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"Cause daddy said and I loved your expression every time I mentioned the night," Valerie said crying a bit.

"I'm sorry," Isaac said seeing her tears."Leave that! why were you distracted during the ride, it was just a Snake?" Isaac said changing the topic.

"Wiping her tears, Valerie said," I don't know, what exactly happened but It was something like...like a vision. There was a giant Dragon attacking a lady. The lady had snakes all around her body and there was a weird sign on her forehead!" Valerie said with a confusing voice.

Isaac was also confused. For a second there was silence. Sound of footsteps came and there was a knock on the door.

"Val! darling?"

"Yes, mom."

"Are you okay?", " Have you ate dinner?"

"Yeah."

She came inside the room and saw Isaac and stares at him.

"Isaac! can a mother and daughter have a conversation?

" Yes!...Yes! Mrs.Wilson." Isaac said getting out of bed.

"Mom! you can't talk to Isaac like that," Valerie exclaimed.

"That's okay Val...Valerie." Isaac said with a little smile.

"See dear! well, I'm here to say sorry about whatever happened downstairs. I didn't mean to hurt you, darling!" said Mrs.Wilson.

"That's okay mom! But Isaac....."

Interrupted her, Mrs.Wilson said, "Now sleep well dear. It's getting late, you have to get your beauty sleep.

"Where am I?.... Stay away!.... Ah! Go away!.... What is this place?.....Take it! Take it!... What? Dragon?.... No! No!… Help me!....... Nooooo!"

Valerie was taking deep breaths. She felt someone was staring at her from the window. She saw at the window there was an eagle. She stares at it and got lost.

"Val! Are you awake?"," Val! hey! Valerie! Mrs.Vance said in a concern expression.

Valerie can't say anything. She was terrified by the vision.

"Are you okay?", " Come here! it's fine, it's was just a bad dream" Mrs.Vance said Hugging her.

Valerie can't gather herself after what she saw while staring at the eagle.

"Oh! Darling look at you. It would've been so horrifying."

"It...It was... a dragon...blood...children..." Valerie said scaredly.

"No! No! No!...don't think about that anymore."," So! Are you gonna sit here all-day. Darling, I know it was horrible, I know you, You never cried like this, even when Mr.Wilson died...You're so strong, darling. I have seen." Mrs.Vance said nearly sobbing.

After Valerie's dad died she never cried so much, just a few tears, her personality was strong, bold. Mrs.Vance is like a mother to her, she never talked much with her mother, Morgan Wilson, cause she never told Valerie about the death of his father.

"Mrs.Wilson is calling you." a servant said to Mrs.Vance.

"Okay! Tell her I'm coming."

"Val! Val! I brought you a cup of chocolate coffee and I will choose a dress for you. So, go and bath....get up now Val!"

"Thank you Mrs.Vance, for staying with me every time," Valerie said in a dull voice.

"I'm always with you."

Valerie baths and drink her coffee wearing clothes. Coming downstairs she saw her mother eating breakfast with Daniel Bradburn, her boyfriend.

"Hello! Darling!"," Good Morning!" said cheerfully Mrs.Wilson.

"Good Morning!" Daniel said.

"That is my dad's spot, Daniel!" Valerie said with anger and bitterness.

"Hey! you can't call him Daniel! Val, watch your mouth!" said Mrs.Wilson with the same anger level.

"You watch your choice or I should've said it to dad!" said Valerie with insulting tone.

"Ms.Valerie Wade Wilson! shut up or you will get punishment."

"It's okay honey! she is a child." Daniel said holding Mrs.Wilson's hand.

"Uh-huh! you think that! try me one day." Valerie said challenging.

Hearing these voices Mrs.Vance came running.

"I'm so sorry, Mrs.Wilson and Mr.bradbrun. I will handle her. I think you two are getting late for work. Don't worry about Valerie, Mrs.Wilson." Mrs.Vance said assuring and cooling the argument.

"She is right! Morgan dear, we can have to go." Daniel said reaching his hand to her shoulder.

"Okay! but keep that abusive young lady ready to say sorry, when I will come."

"Really! Abusive! I haven't started yet." Valerie said loud, teasing her mother.

"Shut up Valerie!"," Don't worry about her, I'm here." said Mrs.Vance assuring Mrs.Wilson that she can handle the situation.

Valerie ate her breakfast with Isaac in silence. Then they get in the car to reach school. There was silence in the car except for the music, the driver has already played.

Breaking silence Isaac said, "Nightmares huh?", " Mum told me.", "Do you wanna talk about it?"

"It was the same as the vision I got yesterday except there was an eagle besides snake and I was there besides that lady."

"Doesn't sound like a nightmare!" Isaac murmurs.

Valerie saw Isaac with a questioning look.

"Sorry didn't mean to offend you," Isaac said feeling guilty.

"I know, but when I woke up there was an eagle at my window and when I saw it, I got lost and then I was at a battle place and billions of people were dead and blood, it was horrible," Valerie said in pain, she was feeling it.

The rest of the day was normal but when they were coming home from school. Valerie saw the same eagle.

"Isaac looks, eagle, the same eagle, one the pole," Valerie said curiously.

"Driver take right, now!" Valerie said shouting.

"But it's not the way to home madam." the driver said politely.

"Please I'm telling you," Valerie exclaimed.

"Okay as you wish madam.

They followed the eagle but it leads them to the forest.

" Why did we stopped!"

"This road will lead us to forest Val, The Adonis forest," Isaac said frowning.

"Okay! we will go into the forest then."

"We?....We!" Isaac said scared.

"Okay! I will go."

Valerie gets out of the car. Isaac followed her telling the driver they will be at home soon.

"Don't tell anything to mom and Mrs.Wilson," screamed Isaac waving at the car.

"Wait, Valerie! what are you doing? where are we going? do you know the way back to the home?"

"Obviously! No!"

"What?" Isaac frowned.

"Yes! And can't you shut up your mouth?"

"Here?...No!"

Suddenly they hear a loud roar. Valerie and Isaac froze. It is a big Tiger. Tiger jumps on Isaac making him unconscious. It comes to Valerie before she could think anything, it jumped, she shields herself with hands, closing her eyes. When she opened her eyes she was at her room, Isaac, and Mrs.Vance standing near her bed.

"Ya! I know, it was the first thing you said."

"So? lie down!"

"Okay! I will but I wanna talk to Isaac."

"He thinks a ghost got you."

"That's why he ran!" "I told him it was a squirrel, Mrs.Longbottom"

After a few minutes, Isaac came slowly.

Valerie laughed so hard at this. Isaac looked confused.

"Mrs.Longbottom died! " Isaac said nearly fainting. Valerie helped him to stand and they both sat on the bed.

"Sorry! I didn't know it will hit you hard and by the way, she is not dead and I'm not a ghost," said Valerie looking in a concerned way.

"You dumbooo......" Isaac said quietly.

"Hmm? what did you say, Isaac Vance?" Valerie said with an evil smile?

"Ahh! why I'm your friend? forget that, what do you want to talk about? or it was just a stupid prank."

"It was not stupid and it worked."

"Okay, I'm going."

They scrolled the results and suddenly Valerie notices a whiff.

"And by the way whatever I said earlier was a lie," said Valerie when results were uploading.

"I knew you can't think that I'm useless."

"No Dumbo, it was the truth, I said you are a genius that was an untruth," Valerie said to tease Isaac.

"Valerie, you are.......", Isaac stopped noticing something strange in results.

"Umm, this is the sign!"

"Sign you saw earlier in your visions and dreams?"

"That is a heck lot of mystery!" Valerie says thinking.

"Hey, look! This Goddess is so ugly! All the snakes on her body, dragon wings, tiger eyes and she don't even have fingers. She has paws of an eagle!" said Isaac imagining her in his mind."What are thinking Val?"

"We will go behind the forest and meet with the tribe or anything and see if they could do something."

"I love the idea that you believe I will come with you and sure why not I would have cone but you don't even have a clue where they are, what they will do to us, what we will find and after your fight with Mrs.Wilson, I don't think in this earth you can go any place of your choice, especially behind the forest."

"Oh my! Look likes you learned to speak! And better for ya cause you are coming with me."

"why do you think I will come with you?"

"Cause you will!"

"Well, whatever you are right!"

"I knew!" " Now pack your bags we should be ready for adventure!"

"What adventure are you two talking of?"Mrs.Vance said sneaking in the room." And why you two are packing?"

"We are going to a pajama party held at Pietro's house, we will be staying over so don't and any driver. Please I'm begging you I wanna have fun there. And if you are going to ask which is, Of course, you are going to I will like to tell already that Isaac and I both have packed night suits, Phone charger, Isaacs optical box and all the things you were gonna tell us to pack!" Valerie said in one breath.

"Yes, mum!"

"We will get company and he is kind of the history-mystery thingy and yeah his brother have a car!"

"Okay."

Bell rings and Pietro takes the call.

"Hello! Isaac, what happened now?"

"Not Isaac, I'm Valerie."

"Yeah Val, what happened?"

"Want a favor!"

"Continue."

"I wanna learn about Hah'Z so wanna your help to go around the forest and all. Will you go?"

"At last, you needed my help!"

"Yeah, I could ask another fella so give me the answer!"

"Okay!"

"Then meet you in a minute!"

"Minute!!"

"Yes, a minute!"
