As my personal alarm, Bettie(i.e, my bestest friend from college) woke me up introducing me to another frustrating day. "Hey wake up you stupid Veronica if you don't want to loose your job or should I say the one and only you could get so far.",Bettie said and I replied with a, " Yes and stop mocking me for once, please." .As she went out of the room I quickly got up and changed myself into a white-coloured shirt with a black pencil skirt and wore my business coat.

When I walked outside my room Bettie rushed over to take my hand and last thing I know was that she was rushing towards my car. Then she directly rushed over to the A. S. Corporation (where we both work together). I am the main head of the HR department and Bettie is one of the co-workers. We bid a goodbye parting our directions.

As I entered the HR department my secretary Clara was standing outside my cabin, waiting to greet me. The moment she saw me, she greeted me by saying, "Good Morning Ms. Veronica. "

I greeted her back, "Good Morning Clara " as I sat down on my chair, the door shut closed as we continued our conversation, "So what is today's schedule Clara? ","First of all you have to look over the papers that the other department sent to us and if any changes are required just inform me...." and so on she discussed the whole schedule with me. After saying all this as as she headed out and said in a sarcastic way, "Have a good day Ms. Veronica. " As she knows me very well for the past 5 years; she is working with me. She knows that each and every day I get pissed off because of the director's hectic problems which looks like his daily business to do. So everytime she sees him, she finds a way to get him out of my sight.  So she is way much like my helper/friend.

At 1:00 there is a lunch break where I met Bettie and Clara and discuss about the half session of hell I was getting through my department and there Bettie makes us laugh with her stupid logical things which don't even have logic in them. And when it's over Bettie, as usual, tells me, "All the best for the last session of today's hell, meet you after that at the same spot. " as I nodded with a yes.

***Time skip***

I was with Bettie on the 13th floor chatting about the day as she started,"So did you get a hot guy to hire for our company? ", "Shut up Bets, Don't talk nonsense. ","Are you serious!You are already 31 babes when are you getting a guy?","See I literally want a perfect match whom I literally like from my whole heart unlike you — a boy-crazed girl."," Can you ever stop saying that, like really! I am not a boy crazed girl!! It's just that you are blind to see guys without noticing such hot guys. You are so lucky that you can choose them. ","OK, OK can you please stop now,  First of all I have to select those people who are eligible to get the job, NOT those people who look handsome by their face and dumb from their mind. Second, about who I want to choose as a guy depends on me. Why are you fricking always so excited for getting me a boyfriend as if you are getting one".bettie breaking my words in middle says, "Okh! Ok fine you don't need to explain. I know you are so angry from today's reports. So why don't you drink a cup of coffee with me? ","OK fine". After hearing this she set off to make coffee leaving me there alone. As she left me alone there, I was thinking about how to pay all the debt to the landlord as he always come troubling Bettie and me. I kept on waiting for Bettie there.

(AIDEN'S POV)

I was proceeding towards the meeting room as I saw a girl standing over at the glass window glimpsing outside. She was absolutely stunning. She was wearing a white-coloured shirt and her pencil skirt perfectly fit her that showed her curves at all the right places. Her hair was of brown colour and was loosely curled up till her shoulders and her eyes- her sky blue eyes were glimmering against the twinkling lights.

"Mr. Jones?", My Secretary Alex interrupted my thoughts. "So what do you think about the company's proposal?", he asked "I think its going to take a lot of time to sort out this documents", "Now you have to first attend the board meeting.","Yes let's head over there".

"Good morning everyone!", Mr Barnes exclaimed. (i.e the director )"As usual we are attending a meeting for the most important and promotional plans for our company. But before that I would like to introduce all of you to the founder of this company and the CEO Mr Aiden Jones". As everyone clapped I entered the room and sat down on the chair that was at the end of the table. I was sitting there for almost 10 minutes and was frustrated to the limit because the one who is going to introduce the project was missing. "Who is giving the presentation?" I shouted angrily "I am sorry I'll call her",Mr Barnes replied after someone said something to him.

(Veronica's POV)

He shouted while calling me "Where are you Veronica come fast, the CEO has been waiting for you for the past 10 minutes.", "Hey, why would I come for the meeting? It was your assistant's job","I don't care,come fast to the meeting room and just take all the files from the table and revise it carefully." Before I could say anything, he hung up the phone."What happened Ronnie?",Bettie asked "The director is fuckin' calling me at this moment and told me to come to introduce today's project.","Is he mad or what how  will you.","I know but I have to or else I will loose my job judging from his temper.","But you don't know anything about the project ppt and its details"," I remember that when Niti was making the PPT she needed my help so the details are somewhat memorized by me","It's great then I think you should go fast as I have heard from one of my friend that today the so is coming to the board meeting","I know,that's why I am a bit of nervous."," Just go and do it. Then only you can see the results","Ok fine I'll go." As I head towards the meeting room after collecting the files and going through them. The moment I enter the room I greeted everybody and the lights were already off so I was  much more relaxed as at least I could not see the director or should I say the "Angry Psycho Bird".I took a a deep breath and started to explain the project.

(Aiden's POV)

I was so frustrated that I don't even want to look at her face. But the moment I saw her I was shocked it was 'Her'. The girl that I had seen while coming here. She was looking more beautiful when she was serious. Then I asked Alex to find out about her whether she really is the girl who was going to introduce the project. After sometime Alex came to me and told me about her whereabouts she was just main head of the HR department but the way she memorized all the stuff in some time is really appreciable." After the meeting was over I was going to meet her but all the people in the meeting room gathered around me and when finally I got out of there,She was no where to be seen.
