Chapter 1
A man dressed in a blue suit was sitting in his car, working on his laptop which was placed on his lap, fully focused on his work

What happened, enwoo?" the man asked his driver, who had stopped driving.

"It's a red signal, sir" the driver replied respectfully.
The man didn't reply as he continued working on his laptop, his fingers moving on the keys, eyes glued to the screen
another person
"Fuck, can't you just come?"
The man's eyes twisted at the cursing sound of a male. Instead of minding his own business, he rolled down his car's mirror to look at the male who was cursing earlier
As he rolled down his mirror, his eyes landed on the male who was standing at the bus stand, dressed in neat, clean clothes as if he was about to make an impression on someone. One hand was holding his drink, and with the other hand he was talking to someone on a phone call.
His expressions were pissed
another person
"Just because of your lazy ass, I am late again" the man yelled on the phone call as his frustration level was at its peak. "Just come" he said again.

"If I get rejected this time too, I am sure I will smack your ass" the male said.
The man sitting in his car chuckled. At the male's cursing, he forgot how many times the male had cursed in those two minutes.
The man stepped out of his car and walked towards the male, who was still talking on his phone, or we can say still cursing at the person he was talking to.
The man stood right in front of him, but the male didn't notice him as he was busy on his phone.

"Excuse me" the man said in a polite tone.
The male looked at him from the side of his eyes. "Okay, bye" he said as he hung up the call, then replied to the man.
"Yes?" the male replied to the man who was looking at him with a little smile on his face.

"I heard your conversation. Do you perhaps want a lif..." As he was about to complete his sentence, the male jumped from his place to call for a taxi, which caused the drink to spill on the man's suit.
another person
"Taxi! Here, yeah!" as he jumped from his place, but the male didn't notice how his jumping made the drink spill on the man's suit.
As soon as his eyes landed on the man standing in front of him, looking at the spilled drink, his eyes widened.
another person
"Ahh, fuck, I am sorry" the male said as he took out a napkin from his pocket and started cleaning the man's suit.
As he was doing it hurriedly, it caused the drink to spill more on his suit. "Shit, sorry" he apologized again.
"It's oka..." Before the man could say anything, the male ran towards the taxi and climbed in. In his situation, he murmured a last sorry as the taxi drove off.
The man looked at the napkin given by the male as he chuckled at the troublesome male's behavior.

"Helping someone caused you problems" he sighed as he looked at his ruined suit and started to walk towards his own car.

"What happened, Mr. Jeon?" the driver asked as he looked at his boss's suit.
Jeon Jungkook
The man sighed. "Nothing, just collided with a walking mess"
Chapter 2
As the car stopped in front of a big building, the man stepped out of his car. Everyone stood in their place to bid good morning to their boss.
"Good morning, Mr. Jeon" everyone greeted him with morning wishes as he smiled and replied to everyone.
"He is handsome"
"He is totally a whole damn crush"
"Mr. Jeon is always polite with his employees"
"Such a sweet and humble person"
"Gosh, his wife will be very lucky"
As the whole floor filled with all kinds of gossip and murmurs,
The CEO sat on his chair. Opening his laptop, he started working when suddenly someone knocked on the door.
Jeon Jungkook
"Come in," he said, still looking at the screen. The person came inside and instantly froze in their place
The CEO lifted his gaze to look at the person. A soft smile tugged at his lips, which only made the other person more anxious.
The person bit his lower lip. He wanted the earth to split open and swallow him, or for the sky to eat him whole. He just wanted to disappear from that place. The embarrassment was at its peak.
Jeon Jungkook
"Please, have a seat" the CEO said politely, not wanting to scare the person who had a shocked expression on his face.
Kim Taehyung
(Holy fuck, why would this man be a CEO? Gosh, I always fuck things up. I am sure I am going to get rejected from here too.)
Jeon Jungkook
"Please, have a seat" he said like a normal person, as if I wasn't the one who ruined his morning, like I was just a normal employee here for an interview.
Kim Taehyung
"Huh?" That's the only thing I could say. Hell, I was confused.
Jeon Jungkook
"Have a seat, Mr.?"
Kim Taehyung
"Kim... Kim Taehyung" I said, not wanting to embarrass myself more.
As I took the seat
The interview began in silence, broken only by the soft tapping of keys, The pause felt heavier with every passing second and i want nothing but to run from there as fast as I can

"So, Mr. Kim Taehyung" he said calmly, folding his hands on the desk. "Tell me about yourself

"So, Mr. Kim Taehyung" he said calmly, folding his hands on the desk. "Tell me about yourself
Kim Taehyung
I swallowed hard. "I... I'm a graduate. I've completed my studies recently" he replied honestly. "I don't have any professional work experience yet"
Jeon Jungkook
He nodded, as if he had already expected that. "No internships? No part time job?"
Kim Taehyung
"I..I used to work at a cafe" I paused for a moment" during my graduation
I saw him, his coat, there was little stain of spilled drink, i waited for the rejection. I was sure it would come any second. People like Jungkook didn't waste time on people like me, and not when I have ruined his expensive suit
Jeon Jungkook
Why do you want this position?" he asked
Kim Taehyung
I clenched his hands on his lap "Because I'm willing to learn" i said. "I know I lack experience, but I won't lack effort. If given a chance, I'll prove myself"
He studied me carefully, his expression unreadable. The silence returned, making my heart pound harder
Jeon Jungkook
I won't lie" He finally said. "Your resume is empty, On paper, there's no reason for me to hire you"
Kim Taehyung
I nodded slowly, already bracing myself. "I understand, sir
Jeon Jungkook
"But" He continued, leaning back in his chair, "everyone starts somewhere. Experience can be taught. Attitude cannot"
Jeon Jungkook
"You were honest," he said. "You didn't try to exaggerate or lie. That matters"
He closed the file and looked directly at him. "I'll give you a chance, Mr. Kim. Consider this a trial period. Don't make me regret it"
For a moment, i thought he had misheard him
Jeon Jungkook
"You're hired" Jungkook said simply.
My eyes widened, breath hitching again, but this time for a different reason, "Thank you" i said quickly, standing up and bowing slightly. "I won't disappoint you"

He gave a small smile. "See that you don't"
I take my leave after bowing him I was so happy finnally i got the job now I can pay my bills on my own I was so happy but suddenly I thought came in my mind

"Why did he hire me so easily?"
