Sun is up and it's Monday. What a wonderful day again,

I love messing with mingming before leaving. Mingming is my roommate eversince I came here in China. Hello! I'm Gao Li Zi but they call me Lingling, I love being on stage performing, I have one young sister and one young brother, I am a jolly and easy going person and beside that I am addicted to Sun Wukong, The legendary monkey king from chinese mythology. It started when I watched some movies that involved him and back then, I did some research about the monkey king and I didn't realize that I am so obsessed about him. Funny right? Only Mingming knew that side of me.

I went to the nearest bakery shop to grab my breakfast. It's 7am and I still have time, my training starts at 9am. Cinnamon bread with coffee really match this day. After grabbing my breakfast, I'm heading to our company by bus.

I arrived on time as always and as I open the door in our practice room, I caught Rylle holding on her laugh and I know that its about my shirt again

"hey, you're wearing that monkey shirt again lingling"

"it's in different color for today rylle--" i replied.

"--Let's practice the third song, we need to polish some choreographies before the event"i continued

We have a performance on a so called dance cover festival in Weifang, Shandong at 7'o'clock in the evening. I am the leader of a small dance group in China, we are trainees in a small entertainment and it's kinda fun, also we are getting paid by the company. We have free accommodation too or dormitory where we stay but I just stay there only for weekdays. I stay at mingming's place during weekends, it's just kinda routine since I started my training days.

(music playing-----)

I can see that most of my members are not really good at dancing and I noticed it from the first day of grouping but I can see that all of them has a determination to improve and I will help them no matter what. Being a leader is not about how good you are or how talented you are but it is all about the responsibilities you take and responsibilities you must take for the group.

We start our daily routine before starting the choreography. Our cooperation is strong and through that all of us become one, I am in charge in the dance choreography and rapping. Rylle is in charge in vocals, she's my second hand in handling things that's related in our group.

We rarely take our lunch if we have a performance, we just drink and drink some water or energy drinks to keep us hydrated. It's been 7 hours since we start our practice

"let's end it here, we need to rest now-"

"ok girls, time's up. We need to get ready now, pack up things" manager kim informed us.

"yes we will manager, we just need 30 minutes rest. Is that fine?" I asked

"no problem, meet me in the lobby exactly 5pm we still need to put on some make up and accessories. Also, don't worry about your costumes. Its ready, see you"

He's a very nice manager, he even sacrifice himself to cover us up in some sort of trouble that we cause or some of us but mostly me. We didn't even hear him complain about us being so troublesome but instead of complaining he just spend time with us and give us some of a nice words. We learned a lot from manager kim, he's like a mother and a father to us.

Our performance for this night went well and we are on our way back to our dormitory where we are staying.

After my routine inside the dorm, I go out and take a snack in a nearest convenience store as always. I probably stay there for about two hours just to freshen up my mind and sometimes grabbing my late snacks really freshen me up. I know its prohibited to eat so much carbs and I always sneak out just to grab my favorite snack when I feel that I want to, I also just go to that convenience store just to sit and watch people passed by. Am I that boring?

I paid for a ramen and some potato fries and a drink and sit outside the convenience store.

"hey! Are you an Idiot!? Ignorant asshole!!!" one men shouted as I am listening from behind that scene

"are you speaking to yourself dude? You're bullying a kid! I saw you putting all that staff inside his backpack" his voice is kinda annoying but I hope he's a good looking men.

I saw that annoying voice men from a corner glass inside the convenience store and I thought he's one of them who wants to play dirty games with that kid but my instinct now is not right. I didn't even saw his face because of the mask he was wearing. Maybe I can see his face now, I changed my position to watch them arguing.

"oh right? This kid uh---" the bad guy gave a one punch to the kid's face and now the kid is bleeding.

I didn't expect that to happen but I run towards the kid hoping that he's fine. I am avoiding some issues before debuting but look where I am now, kinda hard to avoid watching a kid getting bullied by this stupid jerks. Manager Kim will understand this.

(I'm sorry for being selfish manager kim...)

"Hey! Are you out of your mind!? Hitting a kid here in public, wow? Dude, you're so brave uh! Now I can see your face I can recognize you and report you to the police but if you let us go, maybe I can keep it----"

I didn't see that coming I just closed my eyes and protecting the wounded kid.

(Did I get hit!? No no, not me.)

"Stupid, pretty girls don't barge in a scenario like this. Do you wanna get hurt? Stay here" the annoying voice is infront of me but all I can see was his back and a blood on the floor.

I feel scared but I need to stand brave because the kid doesn't feel ok. I took the kid inside the convenience store and ask for help but no one is around. I dropped my payment in the cashier and took the ice pack and some first aid kit. I cleaned the kid's wound but I'm still worried about that guy, he's bleeding too.

"Do you feel better now?" I asked

He just stared at me

"here, dial your parent's number. I'll talk--"

He quickly took my phone and dialed the number.

I talked to his mom about the incidence.

"hey kid, your mom will be here... Don't go out here understand?"

"y-yes.. The guy out there, is he ok?" he asked

"I hope he is still breathing, I'll be back... Wait here"

I run back hoping that he's fine and I saw him walking and he looks like kinda beat up but still managed to walk. I helped him and bring him inside the convenience store to clean his wounds.

"thanks for bringing me back here but can you please help me get the first aid kit inside that room? This kid doesn't look good."

I guess he's working here but why he's not wearing any uniform? And also this is not the time to worry about others, he doesn't even look good than the kid, i cleaned the wound of the kid first.

"oh-- ah yes yes." i replied

He's applying medicine to the kid's face and doesn't even bothered about his wounds and bruises. He even manage to make jokes and laugh for the kid that he doesn't even know.

The entrance door opened

"where's my son??" i saw her face, very worried.

"I called you a while ago maam, this way" i took her to the kid. She hugged him and cry

"thank you for saving my son, thank you so much"

The mother took her son and left the convenience store.

"well, Maybe its time for you to go home now miss. Its getting late"

"Stupid" i replied

"what!? Are you calling me stupid!? Look if you weren't on that scene nothing of this will happened, now who's the stupi----!?" he's so annoying but he's cute.

I took his hand and let him sit. He has small wounds and bruises, I cleaned the blood and applied some medicines.

"now we're good."

"thank you." he said

"thank you too. I need to go, keep safe"

"wait, yo-your name?" wow, his voice sounded shy for a seconds haha.

"call me Lingling, and you?" i replied

"I'm Wukong, everyone calls me Kongkong. Funny right? I know haha"

Everything arounds me suddenly stop, I can hear my heart beating so fast and suddenly........

I kissed him.

I feel his warm lips into mine. He grabbed me and pull me closer---

(he's kissing me back!???)

He kissed me back and every lips position we've been doing got a different sweet taste. What did I do? This is all wrong.

(Why did I do that!? My body just moved without control. It can't be)

I stepped back.

"ah-- I'm so sorry"

He just stared at me as if he's telling me that it's ok.

No, it'll never be ok. I kissed a stranger, I kissed someone who I doesn't know or acquainted with. I'm screwed.

I run out the convenience store and went back to the dorm immediately.

The next morning our manager told us that we will have our team building together with the other group of trainees in our company. It's kinda exciting and fun.

*Flashing back what happened last night.*

"Lingling!? Are you fine? It's been 15 minutes, you keep on staring at that ceiling for 15 minutes." Rylle entered my flashback scene.

"maybe i'm just tired-- gonna call my mingming" i replied

I called mingming

"miss me?" mingming answered

"I MET HIM!!! I MET HIM!! I really met him!!!! He's in human form and I know it's definitely him. I can feel it!"

"cut off with some of your dreamy stuff kid, you just got off from your bed right? It might be you're dreaming" mingming answered

"it's really true Ming, I went last night in the convenience store. We met there... But something happened. Its so embarrassing"

"you haven't eaten yet?" Mingming asked

"you aren't listening ming, I kissed him. We kissed each other and that's really a wrong move from me"

"glad you know that, I ordered you some breakfast. Delivery on the cafe near your dorm, the new cafe on the right side road. Also, if you're looking for a part-time job, that cafe suits you. Try applying there before going work. Bye ling love yah - -" she hunged up

She did not listened to what i'm saying. Wait, is it really a dream? No, its true.. I felt it.

Geez, erase! Erase! I need to go.

I'm wearing my favorite shirt and this time its in color orange with a simple jeans and a running shoes. Mingming ordered a cinnamon bread for my breakfast, I love the taste of the cinnamon bread in the All-in Cafe near mingming's place and she always deliver it for my breakfast. I am now in front of the new cafe named CoffeeBean Cafe, I can smell the native coffee while waiting for the delivery men to arrived.

After 5 minutes, it's here. My cinnamon bread.

The men leaves his motorcyle and walk towards me holding his delivery. It doesn't feel right.. He took off his helmet and-------

It's him.

I live my life now seeing all kinds of things that no one can see. Suffering alone, seeing the important one dies right in your hands, bringing the burdened you encountered and encountering. Having immortality was not great for me. After our journey getting back to the east with my Shifu “master” Tang Sanzang and two other disciples Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, I learned many things. “Take care of your thoughts when you’re alone, and take care with your words when you’re with people. Find the true love and you’ll be free. You’ll be in human form and every full moon you’ll be in your true form. Accept someone who’ll accept you for who you are and what you are.” This was the last appearance of the Goddess of Love and Peace. Wukong’s transformed in Human and every full moon he returned in his true appearance.

He easily adopt the surroundings generation by generation. He eventually owns a convenience store in the city where he lives in Weifang, Shandong. He also have a part time job as a delivery man and also he is a secret sidekick of a policeman. He lives with an old lady named Nuwa. Nuwa adopted him after saving her life in a tragic car accident 6 years ago. Nuwa knows about Wukong’s life and she believe in his story, she adopted wukong as her son.

Meanwhile at the convenience store..

You think you’ll fool me, I can actually see what you’re doing without any cctv

I followed the man and kid outside the convenience store.

“hey, stop messing with that kid. You should pay for that drinks inside his backpack” I said. I took the kid from him

“s-sorry mister.. I didn’t—”

“it’s ok kid, I know you’re not trying to steal this things, I know you’re being manipulated by this jerk”

“Hey! Are you an idiot!? Ignorant asshole!” he took the kid behind me.

I guess I hit the bell now. Gonna have fun this night with this jerk.

“Are you speaking to yourself dude? You’re bullying a kid! I saw you putting all that staff inside his backpack”

He doesn’t look good, he look so pissed off knowing that I knew what he did.

“oh right? This kid uh--?” I can see slowly that he’s about to punch the kid but my powers suddenly went off. She’s fast…. So fast.

Phew. Glad I made it, she’s fine… and crazy. Why did she jumped in a dangerous scene like this? She made me accept this jerk’s punch.

“Stupid, pretty girls don’t barge in a scenario like this. Do you wanna get hurt? Stay here” I told her.

Damn, I’m bleeding after many years. Guess I’ll take some of this jerk’s punches.

He took out his mini knife and aims at me. I receive it and get wounded a little, just a little show off. I receive all his punches. I saw the girl leaves with the kid and that time I decided to give him my special attacks. I just played a little for 5 minutes before kicking his *** out.

Real quick, I need to get back.

I’m heading back in the convenience store but suddenly I lose control, it’s like I was hit with a knife directly in my heart and I can’t breath well.

I saw the girl before running towards me and we’re heading back to the convenience store. I feel my heart getting back to normal and I can comfortably breath. Who is she? I saw the kid with the band aid on his face.

“thanks for bringing me back here but can you please help me get the first aid kit inside that room? This kid doesn’t look good.” My medicine in my office can help the kid’s wound heal faster than any medicine. I look at her eyes to read what she’s thinking, she doesn’t feel good and looks like annoyed but I can’t read her. Who is she? I can’t get inside her mind, I can’t read her.

“oh—ah yes yes.” She replied.

She gave me the kit and I applied it gently to the kid. Her mother arrived, she thank us and took her kid home.

“well, Maybe its time for you to go home now miss. Its getting late” I told her. My wounds will be healed soon. I can’t let anyone find out about me. She stares at me like she’s mad or annoyed. I can’t read her thoughts.

Geez, what wrong with me?

“Stupid” she said.

What!? Calling me stupid really pissed me off

“what!? Are you calling me stupid!? Look if you weren’t on that scene nothing of this will happened, now who’s the stupi----!?” I felt her hands grabbed my wrist and let me sit then she gently cleaned my wounds and applied the medicine that I applied to the kid.

She’s been observing me…. Does she? Who in the earth is this girl that I can’t even read her mind

“now we’re good.” She said

“thank you.”

“thank you too. I need to go, keep safe” she said and smiled. I encountered many pretty girls but she’s like the goddess of them all.

“wait, yo-your name?” I asked.

“call me Lingling, and you?”

“I’m Wukong, everyone calls me Kongkong. Funny right? I know haha” I’ve got many nicknames from generation to generation.

We looked at each other, eye to eye.

Everything around me was moving slow. I didn’t used any of my powers. I can’t move…

I felt her lips on mine. I can see her thoughts and what’s running inside her mind. I kissed her back and every moves has a different sweet taste and a different story of hers. I grabbed her waist and pulled her close, I gently kissed her back. I feel safe and comfortable that moment.

She stepped back

“ah—I’m so sorry” she said and run out the convenience store.

I just smiled at her hoping she can read my mind. I expect that to happen because I just went inside her thoughts that moment. This girl is not that ordinary.

She knows my story but I can’t read her mind unless I’ll kiss her.

That night was so interesting but I let her go.

It’s him…

He’s walking towards me and our eyes met.

“Hi ling, cinnamons?”

It’s not a dream! He still remember me!

“no need to apologize last night, it just happened right?” he smile, he grabbed my hand and lend me the delivery. I left standing still as he walk away and wave his hand.

“see you around ling and by the way, your shirt…..”

Is he planning to embarrassed me with what I’m wearing?

“…… I like it” he continued and left.

Suddenly I feel and hear my heart beating fast.

After grabbing my breakfast, I applied for the part time in the café and I can start next week since I have a busy days this week. On the way to our company I bumped into a police, he doesn’t look good and he’s out of breath

I think he’s chasing someone

“are you ok sir?? - -“ I asked. Then suddenly, he chase the guy with an expensive woman’s bag. I saw his hands holding his waist… he’s been stabbed with a knife! I saw his blood dripping as he chase the thief. I chase the police man, I know it’s dangerous but he’s bleeding, I can’t help it. He really doesn’t look good, he might faint any minutes. I know where the thief is heading since I’m so familiar with every place in our city, I take the shortcut way where the thief is possibly headed and indeed, I’m right. He made a right choice in choosing the escape path through that wounded policeman. I always have pepper spray inside my bag. I hide beside the garbage cart and wait for him to come closer. I spray it directly to his face and he fell down, I took the bag with me but he can still manage to chase me. I keep running.

“wait for me---” he said. I check him behind but he disappeared. I run back to the policeman and took him to the nearest hospital.

“here..” I gave him the bag.

“thank you miss, I owe you a lot. Here—take this, call me if you need help or what. I’m Danny Lim.” He gave me his contact card.

“oh thank you sir. I’m lingling, take care sir. I really need to go, sorry for leaving you here.”

“just call me dan. I’m fine here… thank you again ling” he smile and I left.

As expected, I received punishment for being super duper late in training. No valid excuses from me.

Who might be the person behind that scene? Who took the thief. I'm really curious about it.

After our training I decided to go where the thief vanished while chasing me. I'm so curious because I know every path and escape path in this city but how did that thief vanished? I'm in the site now, I checked every angles or corners but didn't find a clue. I heard some guys and they might be a gangsters, three of them and they look drunk. I'm cornered. They saw me and its a signal that I'm in danger, they don't look away but they walk towards me. I'm trapped. I remember the phone number of Danny and I carefully get my phone from my rear pocket and dialed his number. I can feel its ringing and got answered. I speak normally,

"Behind the building where I get the expensive bag, where the thief vanished. You three, if you'll move closer you'll be vanished or you wanna die in my hands?" i'm really nervous this time, I feel that danny hang up my call. Damn this traitor. I really wanna cry, I'm scared.

They are now standing infront of me

"you little girl, wanna have fun with us?" men one

"you'll have fun, we're tasty" men three

The second men grabbed my waist and kissed my neck...

Why can't I shout? I left frozen.

"p-please... Don't..." i cried

Wukong please... I know you're alive, please help me.. Please...

I closed my eyes and when I opened it, they are gone..

Someone took them and that someone also left me a jacket to wear. I wear it immediately

"Lingling!!!!" someone's running towards me. It's danny.

"where are they!? Are you ok!?" he asked

Do I looked ok? Stupid

"Traitor..." everything turns dark, I passed out.

I woke up in the hospital. I don't have any wounds or bruise, maybe I passed out because I'm stress.

I saw Danny beside me.

"hey," he said and gave me a glass of water.

"how long you've been here?"

"since I took you here, 3 hours"

I slept for 3 hours, that's a great rest for this day.

"I'm sorry, I'm late... I didn't caught the guys either, i'm glad they didn't do anything to hurt you" danny told me, I can see his sincerity.

Its find, he's been stabbed this morning....

"it's ok. I'm strong! Look i'm so fine, you're the one who needs to rest. Sorry for bothering you"

"no, its my duty. Next time i'll be on time for sure."

"it's fine, haha. I need to go now, I still have work tomorrow." i said.

We walked together way out the hospital.

"Thank you for taking me here dan, see you around" I smile and I left.

Somethings not really right, that thing save me twice this day.. Who are you?

I noticed the jacket that i'm wearing now.

Wukong.... Impossible....

This jacket was the jacket he's wearing this morning! I can't be wrong. It's him. Sun Wukong.

I run immediately heading to the convenience. From the outside I saw him....

It's really him. He's not wearing the jacket but there are bruises in his face. Why did he save me??

I entered the convenience and walked toward him.

He was shocked the moment he see me giving back he's jacket.
