INJURED???
Night pressed heavily against the war camp, swallowing every sound except the distant echo of marching boots and the quiet flicker of torches.
Inside the command hall, silence ruled.
Supreme Commander Sebastian Vale stood at the center, cold and untouchable, his presence alone enough to suffocate the room. Maps, blood-marked and torn from endless battles, lay scattered beneath his gloved hand.
