Prologue~

19 years ago~

Four years old jungkook sat at the back of the car with his mum in the passenger seat and dad was driving. He was checking out the toy car they had bought for him, laughing and talking as he admired the remote control car while his dad kept driving on the empty road, it was 11:35 in the dead of the night so it only natural for the road to be empty.

Jk’s mum: but my baby is cuter

The little family engaged in small light conversation during the drive but suddenly the car halted to a stop as the dad suddenly pressed his break send them to jerk forward but fortunately they all had their seat belt so nothing happened to them.

Jk’s mum: honey what’s wrong? Why press the break ?

The mother asked but no reply came from the dad, he just stared at the emerging figure in front of him. The woman noticed her husband puzzled and then looked at where he was looking, she froze.

Jk’s: the angel ?

And in the speed of light, the figure ran and stood beside the driver door, the man tried to start the car but he couldn’t, it like he just couldn’t move. The figure causally tapped at the window and said something.

And as soon as he said that an heavy downpour of rain fell from the sky unexpectedly.

Jk’s dad: w-we are out

We’ve changed, we aren’t causing havoc to the mortals, so please let us live.

H-he won’t know; the man said

And with that taehyung summoned out a red sword from no where, with one swift move, he thrust it into the man’s stomach and the woman, both dropping dead on instant.

Then he changed his sword into a stamp, then stamped the man’s head and the woman’s head and their souls emerged out of the bodies and they floated to the hell gate.

Taehyung was about to walk away when he heard the sobbing sounds of a child, he turned back and saw jungkook sobbing badly

Taehyung took a deep a deep breath then turned to look at jungkook, eyes locking with jungkook’s ones and instantly Taehyung’s eyes turned golden then he said...

And jungkook fainted. Seeing jungkook faint taehyung disappeared missing the sight of the glowing white light emitting from jungkook’s body.

Jungkook opened his eyes, head pounding, he got up from the bed and rubbed his eyes.

Jungkook glanced around the house and his eyes landed at the family picture on the wall, he smiled then stood up to get freshened.

Jungkook got dressed, wearing a plain white t shirt with a black baggy pant. He had toast for breakfast then took a cab to his work.

Taehyung worked as a detective even though that wasn’t his wish, he wants to become a doctor when he was young but changed because of his parent sudden death, he wanted to catch their killer.!

Upon reaching his work place he figured out than an incident hap happened when he was off work yesterday. A woman had killed her own husband and son and was now hiding. Jungkook clicked his tongue— he wasn’t new to things like this.

But he did t pay attention to that as that wasn’t his work, he still had work on catching a rapist man who only raped girls below 18.

Jungkook stood in front of an house, he adjusted his tie then knocked on the door and a few seconds later a woman opened the door, he yes were puffy and red.

Woman: why brought you here ?

Woman: oh, not at all I’m so sorry, please come in. I’ll get tea for you.

The wanna sat across the jungkook and jungkook brought out his book and pen.

Woman: yes. Our Seo-ah had always been a bright considerate girl, she always went to school here self and came home herself knowing that we are parent can’t afford to take her because of our jobs but now we deeply regret it. On her way back home, that when she met that man, he faked been injured and our dear seo-ah decide to help him home but instead he led her an empty corner and raped her brutally, she just got discharged from the hospital yesterday, her face is been ruined from scrapping the hard wall, she doesn’t let anyone enter her room anymore, she hasn’t talked to us, in the night she keeps screaming and crying, she is even terrified of her dad, so we had him move out to live somewhere else. She is broken.

Jungkook’s watched the woman sobbing as she explained, he felt sad and wanted to cry but he forced it back in, he had to be strong. Handing her a tissue, jungkook inquired if he could meet her ?

The woman hesitated then nodded, leading jungkook to her room.

: seo-ah, detective Jeon wants to meet you. He comes to visit you every time you were hospitalized.

They waited for some time and seeing she didn’t respond, jungkook suggested coming another time but then they heard seo-ah saying he can come in. The mother was shocked cause ever since the incident she never allowed any one in her room.

Jungkook walked in, then pulled a chair to seat far away from the bed creating a safe distance between them.

Seo-ah shivered, burying her face in the blanket.

Just as jungkook stood up to leave, seo-ah called out and told him to seat back.

Seo-ah stood up from the bed and took out a paper from her drawer and handed it to jungkook.

Jungkook looked at the drawing in his hand, looking very real.

Jungkook reached out to pat her head but she trembled so he just withdrew his hands and smiled at her, before leaving he thanked her again.
