The woman referred to as Ms. Blackwood, looked up at him with her serene cold gaze as if he is worthless in her eyes, and he hates this gaze.

As far as he went through the phone the darker his expressions turn and why won't he be? Going to bed as usual after a late night of woke and suddenly, waking up as the tragic stupid sidekick of the female lead in a trashy short drama. Any saint person will get mad ?

"I went to bed only to wake up in this drama?"

AFTER A WHILE

He could not help but want to curse, and also punch someone and why would he not? He was simply going to bed to rest, but he is now, somehow, inside this short drama, he was forced to watch by his mother.

It was a short drama of 150 minutes, and the storyline....

The drama’s female protagonist, Rushi Voss, is written much like many heroines from early-2000s stories—someone who falls for her childhood friend simply because he stood out from the rest. He was the reckless one: skipping classes, acting mischievous, and consistently ranking at the bottom. Yet, paradoxically, whenever she struggled with her studies, he would understand the problem effortlessly, as if he had mastered everything all along. His poor academic performance was brushed off with the convenient excuse that “he already knows it all.” As they grow older and enter senior high school, he begins to play the role of a carefree Romeo, searching for his Juliet among countless girls. Watching him flirt so easily with others, the female lead feels a sharp, unspoken pain—fully aware now that he is the one she loves. And honestly… it just makes you want to say—what nonsense.

In this short drama, the male lead is a thorough, unapologetic playboy—even after getting into a relationship with Rushi. And what does our ever-generous, kind-hearted female lead do in response? Exactly what you would expect. She cries. She runs away. She tries to make him realize her absence. She posts about “working on herself.” She distances herself—only to end up attracting another man in the process.

At one point, she even ensures the male lead sees her with this new man, which finally triggers his jealousy and begins the inevitable chase. And just like that, they drift back toward each other—without any real reconciliation. Ironically, she is already behaving like a devoted girlfriend, yet the moment he tries to define the relationship out loud, she resets everything back to square one.

Nicholas Montague was introduced as Rushi’s second male lead—the alternative, the “better option” crafted by the writer. But in reality, he was nothing more than a sidelined figure, reduced to a convenient presence in her life. He existed like a loyal shadow, someone she could summon whenever she needed support and quietly abandon when she no longer did. Rather than being a fully realized character, he felt more like a narrative tool—an emotional fallback, a lapdog orbiting her world without ever being given a life of his own.
