Loving someone isn't difficult, right?
For jungkook loving someone is the easiest thing he do. Not just someone, but loving Kim Taehyung.
He can bet on his ironman figurines collection that everyone who knows taehyung loves him. How can someone even hate a human being like taehyung?
If Jungkook was poetic enough he would've left his job and write books on the most beautiful existence of this world aka Kim Taehyung.
Kim Taehyung wasn't perfect. He was clumsy. He make mistakes. He always have his own opinion and will get angry when others disagree. His fashion choice was of 90's. He pouts when he eats and he eats a lot of unhealthy food. He always has a messy office. He talks to himself or even with doors , pens , books and everything that will not answer him back. Whenever he's sad , he gets gloomy all day but the next day he pretends like nothing happened. Jungkook knows taehyung but at the same time how he wishes to know taehyung
The first time Jungkook saw taehyung was when the later came for internship. Jungkook didn't know who taehyung was and why everyone was giving him so much respect, the only thing he knew was how fast his heart was beating looking at the beautiful piece of creation.

Hello everyone, I'm Kim Taehyung.
Taehyung was an intern on fashion department. While Jungkook was in finance department. He started working in this company six months before but he never find his work fun until Kim Taehyung joined the company.
But before he could even get his hopes high , a mountain fall over him when he found out Kim Taehyung is actually the youngest son of Kim byun. The CEO of the company. And Taehyung is only here for few months before he'll leave to Paris to open his own brand.
And it's no secret Jungkook cried that day when he reached his empty small apartment. He didn't know when his feelings grew so much when he barely even know Taehyung.
Being an introvert and socially awkward person Jungkook made his mission to bury his feelings and just act like his heart doesn't do a full on somersault and fireworks doesn't go off in his head whenever taehyung walks Infront of his department greeting everyone with a smile.
Jeon jungkook was in love with Kim Taehyung. The guy he barely knows and can never have. But still loving taehyung feels like the biggest achievement he has ever done

*stepped in the elevator and pressed the button of his floor*
Jungkook causally stepped back in the elevator fiddling with his suitcase and a little smile playing on his lips knowing he will soon see that beautiful person again after so long. (He just saw him yesterday)
But Jungkook wasn't prepared for it to happen so soon.

*Head snapped up so fast that he might break his neck*

Hold the door for me , I'm coming.
*Running towards elevator as he just entered the building*
And Jungkook was so thankful that instead of going freeze mode like he always does whenever he makes eye contact with taehyung, he stepped forward and put his hand in between the doors that almost closed shut.
And just as the door opened Jungkook feels like he's in a dream or maybe he died or maybe he's having hallucinations,..... because how can someone like Kim Taehyung exists and how someone like jeon jungkook is allowed to be in same space as him.

*Search his pockets and pulled out a cloth and without looking at it passed it to taehyung*

*look away at the side while his ears turned red*

*starts wiping the stain*
This Jimin. *sigh* I'm going to kill that shortie. Because of his coffee first I almost ran late and now even my clothes got dirty.
*pouting*
Jungkook looked at Taehyung in between his blabbering and his eyes softened as he felt that warm feeling again in his heart seeing the pout slowly appears on taehyung lips.
If Jungkook could he would've just sit down and admire taehyung even with a little time he got. He knows this moment will never come again where taehyung will stand so close to him and talk directly with him. This is the moment he'll cherish all his life. And even take it to his grave.
He's sure that even if he dies at this moment he won't regret anything. Because maybe now Taehyung knows about his mere existence.
But one shouldn't wish for such things.

Taehyung almost falls forward on floor if it wasn't jungkook's pure instinct making him move and hold taehyung arm.

*pulled away his arm and walked to the emergency button*
Hello!! Can anyone hear me? The elevator no.3 just stopped. We're stuck between 7 and 8 floor. Please immediately check what's the issue. Hello!! Hello!!!"
Hearing taehyung impatient voice Jungkook snapped back to reality and mentally slapped himself for acting so stupid.

But before taehyung could complete his sentence the elevator shake again making them both stumble and fall.

*moved towards taehyung alarmed*

Yeah.... it's just.. what's happening??
*looking around scared*
And Jungkook can clearly see it in Taehyung eyes that how scared he was. His eyes are wavering around as he hold himself while slowly scooting towards corner. Looking at this condition of taehyung it feels like someone just stabbed Jungkook straight at his heart.

*clench his fists as he slowly stood up*

*Took out his phone but groaned loudly as there was no signal*

*looking at Jungkook from corner*

*didn't look at him knowing it's gonna hurt him and he needs to be strong right now*
No signal. But don't worry we'll find a way.
As Jungkook moved towards the emergency button again the elevator again wavered harshly making them both let out a scream as they hold the safety rails.

*teary eyes*
OMG , is it going to fall??

*head snapped towards taehyung terrified*

*eyes snapped upwards towards the roof*

Taking support taehyung put his legs around Jungkook shoulders and don't even ask him why he wasn't even little bit concerned that Jungkook might drop him. Because for some reason taehyung knew he safe

Jungkook slowly stood up on his legs and taehyung almost let out a squeak that how easily Jungkook did it.

Taehyung feeling happy that there's way they can be saved immediately opened the hood and just as he opened it , his eyes fell on the wire that was holding the elevator burning away

Before Jungkook complete they heard voices from outside. Jungkook could hear machinery working. The help is here. They are saved. Someone is here to save them.

And Taehyung was forced to take away his mind from that delicate word , knowing he'll surely ask later why he called him like this , because for now they need to survive.
Just as taehyung with great difficulty got on top the elevator staggered again hard making Jungkook fall back on ground while tae let out a screen holding himself

*slightly moved and looked down at Jungkook and hold out his hand*

On the other hand the door just above taehyung opened showing his distraught father and best friend

*nod his head immediately as he motioned him to go*

*look at Jungkook one last time before he slowly moved towards Jimin and hold his stretched hand*

*With little struggle pulled him up*
And Jungkook immediately let out a sigh of relief with a small smile. But the smile falls from his lips as more tears fall from his eyes. Even though he was happy that he got to be so close to taehyung before his death but he was still sad that now he can't even dream of spending time with Taehyung.
He will never see that pair of enchanting eyes again and his last memory of those eyes will be filled with tears.
He will never see that beautiful boxy smile again that lights up his whole day
Never hear that melodic laugh that is better than any music
Never see that little wave of hi that taehyung does whenever he passes by every department which is like his energy booster
Never see that angry pout again which instead of intimidating makes taehyung looks more adorable
He will..... he will never see taehyung again
On the other hand taehyung who got up on the floor outside immediately noticed it. Noticed the way his weight instead of making things right disturb the balance and wires starts snapping one by one.

Who is more lucky? The one in love or the one who is loved?
Jungkook has been loved. By his father who was a soldier but died during an attack when Jungkook was only six. But he still remember his father strong arms protecting him and loving him
By his mother who was a strong independent lady after his father death but still couldn't fight cancer and died apologizing to him for not staying. He was fifteen but his mother's warm cooked meal , soft smiles , light scoldings and late night hugs gave him enough love to fill his heart.
By his high school and university friends who were always there for him through thick and thin , supporting him , caring for him and loving him while showing him that how much he matters not only by his family.
And taking all that love Jungkook can proudly say that falling in love is more lucky for him.
And that's why even when he fell his body hit something hard and pain shooting through him and his heart beat getting slower , Jungkook felt alive.
How does one feel when they are dead?
No one knows the answer because only dead has the answer but apparently they are dead to answer
But if we ask Jungkook, it feels strange.
He could feel his own body rising and falling as he breath.

But as the more senses starts coming to him , he finally realized he was laying on some kind of soft place , not cloud but bed. His body was clearly awake and aching to be moved. Someone is actually there beside him.

And before Jungkook could even process that why the heaven or hell is like an old Korean place , a loud thud was heard like a body fell.

Now the sight awakened him little more. He can't even process what he was seeing.
The figure Infront of him had very long hairs with a strange ocean colors falling on floor like waves. The face of the person was clearly hidden as he was looking down but Jungkook could see by the figure that it was a male

(A man possessing such long and beautiful hairs? And the hair dye is really good too. I can't even see the black roots)
As Jungkook eyes travelled down he frowned seeing the piece of clothing on the man's body barely covering it
Not being able to see the man in such clothes not because he cares about someone's fashion but it must be cold as he could feel the cold air of night hitting inside the room. And his heart is too kind to see someone suffering

*move his hand and opened his mouth*
But his words were cut by a small wavering deep voice that seems very familiar to his ears. A voice that made him somehow realize that right now he is not in heaven and nor hell.
"Please pardon my tardiness for coming to you so late. it wasn't my intention. I hope his highness show the mercy and forgive me. And I'm ready to serve you till his highness desire for"
Now this man was just blabbering. Because what in alien language was he speaking. Jungkook couldn't even make out few words because first the words seems like they were in some other language and second because as the man kept speaking his voice starts going small , clearly showing that he is scared
And if that wasn't enough jungkook can see the petite body shivering and those hands holding the barely keeping up piece of cloth tightly around himself.

*slowly pushed himself up as he sat and looked at the man with confusion written all over his face*

What are you saying? And..... who are you?
Now these words made the man flinch and Jungkook could clearly see the processing going inside the mermaid like man.
He doesn't even know what is happening. Where is he? Didn't he just died? Who is this man? And what is this place?
But all those questions flew away from his brain the second the man raised his head and those familiar but at the same time unfamiliar pair of grey eyes filled with tears , just like Jungkook remembered when he died , looked right in his wide ones
And maybe Jungkook died second time that day

And Jungkook who don't even know what was happening and why taehyung was here Infront of him like this immediately got up from his place and move towards taehyung to hold him close and maybe wipe his tears like he wanted to do back in lift , but before his hand could even touch taehyung a very strange thing happened that might have broke Jungkook heart in million pieces
