The Villainous Daughter Will Turn This Hourglass.
PROLOGUE
The Palace of Eternal Night
In a distant kingdom buried beneath endless snow, there ruled a cold and majestic king his name was Keramosia Di Valemortis.
Once, his heart had not been made of stone.
He had loved only one woman: Adiana Roth, a mysterious and captivating temptress whose beauty and charm bewitched the entire kingdom.
Their love was legendary deep, consuming, and said to be powerful enough to outlive time itself.
Adiana was attacked and fatally wounded while carrying their child.
Desperate and driven by grief, King Keramosia turned to forbidden black magic to save her.
Adiana did not live… yet she did not die.
Only the child in her womb survived the ritual and was reborn as something unnatural: an immortal girl.
From that day forward, the king changed. The warmth he once carried vanished, his heart turning as cold and lifeless as stone. He could not bear to look upon the daughter who lived because Adiana could not. To him, she was both a miracle and a curse one he could never forgive.
So when a distant Holy Empire requested a child believed to be a “divine being,” he gave her away without hesitation.
The girl was taken to the temple and raised as a Saintess.
For five years, she served faithfully obedient, silent, and yearning for purpose. But the truth eventually surfaced: she was no saint.
And the real saint appeared.
Branded a fraud, she was cast out into the streets, abandoned by the very people who once worshipped her.
Alone and forgotten, she wandered until fate found her again.
At the same time, the emperor of the Holy Empire died, leaving no heir.
A new emperor ascended the throne, desperate for one thing above all else: immortality.
When word reached him of a girl who could not die, he made his decision.
At just six years old, the immortal girl became Empress.
The Emperor quickly grew ill, making him unable to leave the bed. The Empire was in chaos. A decision had to be made. The emperor was deposed, and the empress was crowned emperor. The first female emperor the empire had seen.
But her crown was nothing more than decoration.
The true power behind the throne was the cunning and manipulative Marquis, who ruled in her name while she remained a puppet. Years passed under his control, the empire slowly decaying as corruption spread and the people suffered.
By the age of fourteen, the girl finally stepped beyond the palace walls for the first time.
What she saw shattered her.
Starving citizens. Broken cities. A kingdom rotting from within.
Filled with determination, she returned to confront the Marquis pleading for change, for mercy, for justice.
And soon after, the empire erupted into chaos.
Fueled by desperation and dark magic, they stormed the palace.
In the end, the immortal girl who could not die was killed.
A sword forged from black magic pierced her heart… the same cruel fate her mother had suffered.
In her final moments, she learned the truth.
It was the Marquis who had betrayed her.
He had orchestrated everything turning the people against her, ensuring her downfall, and erasing her existence as if she had never mattered.
VIOLA LARAQUINA [EMPEROR|FL|14.Y.O]
Why?
VIOLA LARAQUINA [EMPEROR|FL|14.Y.O]
Viola asked as she bled out of the cold stone. She was in her final moments and filled with nothing but pain before her was the man she considered to be her father in her treacherous life.
WINSTER TROSIK [MARQUIS]
What did I always tell you sweet child.
VIOLA LARAQUINA [EMPEROR|FL|14.Y.O]
~Gasping~
VIOLA LARAQUINA [EMPEROR|FL|14.Y.O]
Never trust anyone as long as you breath.
WINSTER TROSIK [MARQUIS]
Then why did you trust. You know no one is an exception to trust.
WINSTER TROSIK [MARQUIS]
The world is a horrible place, Viola. I don't even think the gods look down on us anymore.
WINSTER TROSIK [MARQUIS]
The strongest must survive. There is no room for the weak.
VIOLA LARAQUINA [EMPEROR|FL|14.Y.O]
I did care for you.
WINSTER TROSIK [MARQUIS]
And so did I.
Viola took her last breath there in the presence of the marquis and passed.
Her father did show up for the first time now when she was dead.
On the night she died, the world changed.
A suffocating darkness spread across the land an endless night that swallowed all light.
It was said that even the gods mourned her.
Elsewhere in the universe.
A girl sleeping suddenly wakes up gasping for air.

The Novel Was Known As: The Palace of Eternal Night.
The story does not begin with a hero.
It begins with a villain.
A hundred years before the current era, the world was consumed by darkness. The skies were black, the sun had vanished, and all life existed under an endless night. At the center of it all was one name whispered in fear and hatred:
She was known to history as the wicked witch who cursed the world into eternal darkness. A monster. A tyrant. The one who brought ruin to mankind.
And so, she was defeated.
A holy saint rose from the temple, struck her down, and ended her reign. The world recorded it as salvation. As justice.
But that was only the story people were told.
A hundred years later, during what came to be known as the Dark Ages, a girl from the modern world was reborn into that broken, shadowed land.
From the moment she was born, she was seen as something sacred.
She was the twin of the saint who had once defeated the wicked witch.
A miracle.
A second chance.
The temple declared that she had been sent to save the world, just as her predecessor had done.
And so, she accepted that fate.
Unlike the immortal girl who had been abandoned, this child was embraced.
She was taken in by King Keramosia Di Valemortis, the very man who had once cast aside his own daughter. Burdened by guilt and regret, he saw in this reborn girl a chance to atone.
He treated her as his own.
He raised her, protected her, and trained her to become strong. Under his guidance, she grew into a formidable warrior, admired not only by the kingdom but also by his sons, who cherished her as family.
For the first time in years, the palace felt whole again.
But her greatest achievement was not on the battlefield.
It was something far more impossible.
She found a way to awaken Adiana Roth, the queen who had long been trapped in an eternal, lifeless slumber.
With Adiana’s return, the broken royal family was restored.
King Keramosia, Adiana, their sons, and the reborn girl stood together as something they had not been in a long time:
A complete family.
Guided by love, strength, and purpose, the reborn girl succeeded where history had failed.
She ended the Dark Ages.
She brought light back to the world.
The skies cleared, the sun returned, and the people finally knew peace.
But the truth, as always, was far more complicated.
The Marquis was not an ordinary man.
He was an immortal.
One who had lived for generations, carrying the weight of a terrible past.
A past tied to the very girl the world called a witch.
A past filled with guilt, betrayal, and regret.
Where the world saw a savior, he saw something more.
The reborn girl did not just bring light back to the land.
She brought light into him.
She gave him something he had long believed he did not deserve:
Forgiveness.

CHAPTER TWO I'M BACK
The Kingdom of Riverbend was the only kingdom not under the Holy Empire.
It was for this reason they were a threat to the Holy Empire that had to be exterminated.
The Kingdom was vast covering lands in the northern territory.
The Kingdom was rich in minerals, especially magic stones that were needed throughout the empire for the world to function.
It only snowed six months a year and was sunny the rest of the time.
The Kingdom was also a capital spirit ground, and in recent years, it had only grown.
Which was odd because the high temple believed that spirits only appear in places of worship to the goddess.
and the north was not a place of believers.
In the great northern kingdom, there was no faith in God's or Goddess's. There was only faith in the strength one holds.
For the past few weeks, a dark shadow had been cast on top of the Kingdom.
and faith was what the kingdom needed now.
singing came a room in the maids quarters.
The maid held a cute sleeping baby in her arms.
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
What on earth is happening?
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
Why does it feel like someone is holding me.
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
Is it Stephan, but Stephan doesn't sing.
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
If only my eyes could just open, I would see who it is.
Madie folds her hands in front of her, looking at Mable and the baby.
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
~Sighs~
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
How long are you going to do this for mable?
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭:Whose Mable?]
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
As long as I must.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
~Holding Virelya~
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
It's been weeks since you started taking care of the girl, and the king shows no signs of ever coming to get her.
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭:King?]
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
You gone have yourself another child at the end of this.
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
Think Mable you can't afford another child.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
The King is still grieving he hasn't even left the queen's room. If I abandon the little princess, no one will take care of her.
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
With good reason.
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
She has no name. She's not a princess. What she is, is the reason the queen died.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
How? How can you all blame a baby for the death of the queen.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
Was she the one who drove the dagger into the queens heart?
Hearing those words Virelya's eyes burst open.
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭:No freaking way]
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭: I'm back into this treacherous life]
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭: NO! I want to go back, I was getting married I had family I had friends]
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭: Nooo! Take me back!]
Virelya began crying loudly her voice echoing across the entire maids quarters
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
Mable, do something. Why is she crying?
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
I don't know she's never done this before.
The pair hear a commotion coming from outside the room.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
Go check what's happening out there.
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
~Nods~
Just as Madie was about to open the door to get out, the door opened, and a man with a cold aura, entered.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
~Suprised~
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]
MADIE [ KITCHEN MAID ]
~Suprised~
The pair immediately kneeled, Mable quickly holding the wailing baby against her chest.
MABLE [MADIES SIS| WET NURSE|MAID]

Virelya crying immediately ceased hearing 'Your Majesty'
VIRELYA DI VALEMORTIS [FL|PRINCESS]
[💭: Is my useless father here?]
