Avino's Promise
EP 1 : The sudden change
Noah was a broke boy, neither good at studies or sports. pretty weak and a coward, perhaps. He is scared of everything but his biggest fear is .... Avino. Avino is his bully he would sometimes throw food at Noah, beat him like a punching bag and take all his money Noah's mother gave to Noah to get lunch from.
PRESENT : Noah was walking by and saw Avino standing near the gate, he trembled and decided to give whatever he had already to avoid getting beaten.
Noah
"Here ... t-take this" *he gives coins his mother gave him to buy himself lunch from* "I-I don't have anything else ...p-please don't hit me ...."
Avino
"Huh ?" *he turned and looked at Noah* "why Are you giving your money to me ? And.... who are you ? are you alright" *He walked a step close to Noah and touched his hair which made Noah flinch* "easy there, I was just
...you know you had dirt on your hair" *Avino pulled back and looked at Noah*
Noah
*he flinched at first taking a step back thinking that he's about to get beaten again, but he was surprised, why was Avino suddenly so nice ? Is this a prank ? He looked around in trying to find cameras recording but found none which made him feel weird* "w-what are you doing ? Why are you acting so ....weird ? ... Is this another prank ? I ...I gave you every thing I had ... please don't..." *he sighed and looked away trying to fight tears which already started appearing*
Avino
"Hey ? Why are you crying ? I really don't want anything from you ... really I swear" *Avino said gently and patently making Noah confused of this sudden change in behavior*
Noah
"you're acting weird" *Noah said and turned to leave, carrying a heavy bag*
Avino
"Wait ! …you'll fall down if you hold a bag that heavy *he walks close to Noah" * I'll carry half the books in my bag *Avino smiles softly* "
"What is your name ?"
Noah
"You already know my name..." *Noah mumbled hesitating*
Avino
"Do I ?" *Avino says nervously* "maybe … I forgot …tell me again ?" *he says and willingly takes out books from Noah's bag and helping him*
Noah
*forgot ? He forgot my name ? How is it possible ? What's going on ? Why is Avino not acting like his normal self ? These questions popped up in his mind* "I'm Noah..."
Avino
"Noah ! Yes Noah of course I know you" *Avino says nervously again sweating a bit and then smiling* "Why were you giving me coins ? at first ? Noah ?"
Noah
"Uh ... because you always tell me to give you everything I have" *he says softly while looking away and walking beside Avino*
Avino
"I take your money ? And other things ?!" *Avino gasped as if surprised and shocked but why surprised by his own actions?*
Noah
*Noah looked at his face closely, the face was same, the body looked same even the voice but for a reason Noah felt like this wasn't Avino*
