My Mafia Husband Begged Me to Come Back

My mafia husband begged me to come back chapter 1

Part 1 : The Wedding That Felt Like War

The chandeliers sparkled like a thousand watchful eyes, but to me, they felt like witnesses to my doom.

I stood at the center of the grand hall, dressed in white, my hands trembling beneath layers of silk. This wasn’t the wedding I had dreamed of. There was no love here—only a contract signed in fear.

Across the aisle stood my husband.

Rayan Malik.

The most feared mafia king in the city.

His expression was unreadable, cold as steel. People whispered his name in fear, and tonight, I had become his wife.

“Smile,” he murmured as he leaned close, his voice low and dangerous. “Everyone is watching.”

“I’m not one of your deals,” I whispered back.

His lips curved slightly. “Everything in my world is a deal.”

My heart clenched. I had been forced into this marriage to save my family. My father’s debts, his mistakes—everything had led me here.

When Rayan took my hand, his grip was firm, possessive.

“You belong to me now,” he said.

And in that moment, I knew—this wasn’t the beginning of love.

It was the beginning of something far darker.

part 2: A House Full of Secrets

The Malik mansion was less of a home and more of a fortress.

Tall gates, armed guards, silent corridors—it felt like I had stepped into a prison disguised as luxury.

I followed Rayan inside, my heels echoing against marble floors. Every servant lowered their gaze as we passed.

“Your room is upstairs,” he said, not even looking at me.

“Our room?” I asked.

He stopped.

Slowly, he turned, his dark eyes locking onto mine.

“Don’t misunderstand,” he said coldly. “This marriage is for appearance. You’ll stay out of my way, and I’ll stay out of yours.”

Something in me snapped.

“Good,” I said. “I didn’t ask to be here.”

For a moment, something flickered in his eyes—anger… or something else.

“Be careful,” he warned softly. “This house has rules. And breaking them has consequences.”

I lifted my chin. “I’m not afraid of you.”

But that was a lie.

That night, as I sat alone in the massive bedroom, I realized something terrifying—

I didn’t know who my husband really was.

And worse…

I was starting to want to.

part 3: The First Betrayal

It happened sooner than I expected.

Three days into the marriage, I overheard something I wasn’t meant to hear.

I had gotten lost in the mansion’s endless hallways when I heard voices from behind a half-open door.

Rayan’s voice.

“…she doesn’t know anything,” he said.

My breath caught.

Another man laughed. “Good. The less she knows about her father’s betrayal, the better.”

My heart stopped.

Betrayal?

“What did her father actually do?” the man asked.

Rayan’s silence stretched for a moment.

Then he said something that shattered me.

“He sold her to me.”

The world tilted.

My father… sold me?

I stepped back, my hands shaking violently.

Suddenly, the door opened.

Rayan stood there.

His eyes darkened when he saw me.

“How much did you hear?” he asked.

I swallowed, tears burning my eyes.

“Enough.”

For the first time, I saw something crack in his cold expression.

But it wasn’t regret.

It was something far more dangerous.

And in that moment, I realized—

I wasn’t just trapped in a marriage.

I was trapped in a web of lies.

Part 1 : A Truth Too Cruel

I couldn’t breathe.

The words echoed in my head—He sold her to me.

Rayan stepped closer, his presence suffocating. “You weren’t supposed to hear that.”

“Is it true?” My voice broke. “Did my father really sell me like I’m nothing?”

His silence was my answer.

Tears blurred my vision. “How much?”

His jaw tightened. “That doesn’t matter.”

“It matters to me!” I shouted, my chest heaving. “Was I cheap? Or did I at least cost enough to make it worth destroying my life?”

For a moment, something dangerous flashed in his eyes. Then, in a low voice, he said, “You were never cheap.”

The words didn’t comfort me—they shattered me further.

I laughed bitterly. “Congratulations. You bought yourself a wife.”

His hand shot out, gripping my wrist. “Don’t twist this.”

“Then explain it!”

But he didn’t.

Instead, he let go and stepped back, his face returning to that cold, unreadable mask.

“You’ll understand one day,” he said.

“I don’t want to understand,” I whispered. “I want out.”

“You don’t get out,” he replied simply.

And just like that, hope died inside me.

Part 2: The Enemy Within

Days passed in silence.

I avoided Rayan, and he didn’t try to stop me. But the mansion… it watched.

Every corridor felt like it had eyes.

One evening, I wandered into the garden, desperate for air. That’s when I saw her.

A woman. Beautiful. Elegant.

And standing far too close to my husband.

She smiled at him like she belonged there.

“Rayan,” she said softly, touching his arm.

My stomach twisted.

He didn’t move away.

Something cold settled inside me.

I stepped forward. “Am I interrupting something?”

Both of them turned.

The woman’s gaze swept over me, amused. “So this is your wife.”

“This is none of your concern, Zara,” Rayan said sharply.

Zara.

She smiled. “Everything about you is my concern.”

Her eyes met mine, filled with something unsettling. “You should be careful. Not everyone here wants you alive.”

My blood ran cold.

“What does that mean?” I asked.

But she only laughed softly and walked away.

I turned to Rayan. “Who is she?”

“Someone you should stay away from,” he replied.

“Is she your lover?”

His silence was louder than any answer.

And just like that, another piece of me broke.

Part 3: Cracks in the Ice

I stopped eating.

Stopped sleeping.

Stopped caring.

But Rayan noticed.

One night, he entered my room without warning. “You look terrible.”

“Leave,” I muttered.

Instead, he walked closer.

“You think starving yourself will change anything?”

“I think I don’t belong here,” I said quietly.

For the first time, his voice softened. “This is your home now.”

“It will never be.”

Something flickered in his eyes—pain?

“You don’t know what I’ve done to keep you safe,” he said.

I let out a hollow laugh. “By buying me?”

His jaw clenched. “You’re alive because of me.”

“Was I in danger before you ruined my life?”

He didn’t answer.

That scared me more than anything.

my mafia husband begged me to come back chapter 3

Part 1: Blood on His Hands

The truth revealed itself in the worst way.

Gunshots.

Loud. Terrifying.

I woke up screaming as chaos erupted in the mansion. Guards ran, shouting orders.

Without thinking, I ran into the hallway.

That’s when I saw it.

Rayan.

Covered in blood.

My heart stopped. “Are you hurt?”

He looked at me, surprised.

“It’s not mine,” he said calmly.

Behind him… a man lay lifeless on the floor.

I stumbled back, horror flooding me. “You killed him.”

“He betrayed me.”

The way he said it—so cold, so casual—made my stomach turn.

“Is that what you do?” I whispered. “Kill anyone who disappoints you?”

His eyes hardened. “In my world, betrayal has consequences.”

“And what about me?” I asked, shaking. “What happens when I disappoint you?”

For a moment, he said nothing.

Then quietly—

“You won’t.”

But it didn’t feel like reassurance.

It felt like a warning.

---------------------------------------------------

Part 2 : The Hidden Truth

I started searching.

If my father had betrayed me, I needed to know why.

Late one night, I sneaked into Rayan’s office.

Files. Documents. Secrets.

And then—I found it.

My name.

With shaking hands, I opened the file.

Inside were details… about me.

But not just me.

Threats.

Enemies.

A note stood out:

Target: Daughter of Arif Khan. Leverage for revenge.

My heart pounded.

Revenge?

Before I could process it, a voice cut through the silence.

“You shouldn’t be here.”

I turned.

Rayan stood in the doorway.

His expression was unreadable.

“What is this?” I demanded, holding up the file.

He didn’t answer immediately.

And that hesitation told me everything.

--‐-------------‐----------------------------------

Part 3 : The Second Betrayal

“You used me,” I whispered.

Rayan stepped closer. “It’s not that simple.”

“It’s exactly that simple!” I shouted. “You married me for revenge!”

His silence confirmed it.

Tears streamed down my face. “I was nothing but a pawn to you.”

“I never meant—”

“Don’t,” I cut him off. “Don’t pretend you care.”

For the first time, his composure cracked. “You think this is easy for me?”

I laughed bitterly. “Easy? You destroyed my life!”

“I saved it!” he snapped.

The room fell silent.

“From what?” I demanded.

But he didn’t answer.

Instead, he turned away.

And that hurt more than anything.

---------------------------------------------------

Part 4: The Beginning of His Fall

Something changed after that night.

Rayan started watching me differently.

Less cold.

More… conflicted.

But I didn’t care anymore.

I had built walls around my heart.

One evening, as I stood on the balcony, he came to stand beside me.

“You’re not safe without me,” he said quietly.

I didn’t look at him. “I’d rather be free than safe with you.”

His hand tightened on the railing.

“You don’t mean that.”

“I do.”

For the first time, I saw something I never expected—

Fear.

Not mine.

His.

“Don’t push me away,” he said, his voice low.

I turned to him, meeting his gaze.

“You already lost me.”

The words hit him harder than any weapon.

And in that moment…

The powerful mafia king—

Started to break.
