The Predator ~ Beneath the Surface
Prologue.
Malakai, 193 centimetres tall man with dark hair and grey eyes, ran thought the deep and murky forest.
He thought he finally won, that he oversmarted his enemy, his *****.
His hope shattered with the last ray of sunlight.
"You really think you can run, Kai?"
A voice so deep and raspy, that it could shatter glass, came from behind Malakai.
It was none other than his nightmare, the shadow that followed him everywhere, that took him to this private island and never let go of the shackled that were binding them together.
"You can't leave, after all, you have something that's partially mine."
Malakai searched for a way out of there, for a way to escape his grip.
He started running towards the other side of the forest, going deeper and deeper, and that's the problem
Only one person knew these forests like the back of his hand.
The shadow that liked to follow Malakai everywhere.
The shadow that knew too much, even the truth Malakai tried so hard to hide.
"After all, you're pregnant with my baby..."
The deep voice echoes through the vast forest, hunting Malakai down.
New world.
Malakai woke up, the dreams still hunted him..

Another busy day.
Malakai, 23 years old, silver hair, delicate but sturdy figure.
Malakai got up from the bed, the clock was straight 5AM.
The tall man stood in front of the mirror and put on a suit and tie.

He wasn't one to say many words.
He made himself a small breakfast and right by 5:30AM, he was out of the big mansion he liked to call his house, and in his car, driving to the workplace.
The car pulled over by the gate, two guards stood by.
The car window pulled down, Malakai showed his personal card to the guard..

The other guard nodded and opened the highly maintained and guard gate.
The gate to a different world from the outside one, a world only those who worked here knew about.
Agent Voss.
Malakai got out of the car, after he parked inside the underground parking lot.

Malakai, you're early again.

Of course, as always.
Malakai straightened his clothes and tie and greeted his friend, Asher Novton.
Asher Novton was the chief operating officer.
He worked mainly in the agency, but sometimes went out for some work.

Malakai and Asher walked side by side to the elevator.
