Hello everyone, my name is Gugu. I’m 25 years old and currently working in the IT sector.

I’m not a very intelligent person, just an average guy who barely passed in academics. My parents never pressured me about studies, so I grew up as a carefree and stress-free person.

I’m happy with my family. I talk like an extrovert when I’m with them, but when it comes to strangers or friends, I kind of become an introvert. Maybe I’m just not comfortable with them.

I’m generally a happy person, but everyone has different sides. When I moved out of my home, things started to change. I joined an IT company three months ago, but I still don’t have many friends. Some people may say it’s only been three months, but in the same time, others have already made close friends or even found relationships.

I really wish I had someone there for me. I try to talk, but when people respond, I feel embarrassed and don’t know what to say next, so things become awkward. Because of that, many people avoid me.

I also wear the same clothes repeatedly. Even though I earn a decent salary now, I don’t like spending money on clothes. I have responsibilities. I need to take care of my family, and I have debts.

At the office, whenever my team plans outings or parties, I usually make excuses. Because of that, people might think I’m strange. But only those who have responsibilities and debts understand this struggle.

I do have one teammate who talks to me kindly. He’s a good person, but not necessarily trying to become my close friend. That makes me feel a bit sad, but I guess I need to move on.
