At school, Kael is distant. Quiet.

Students laugh, talk, scroll on their phones—but he feels disconnected.

His best (and only) friend, Jay, nudges him:

JAY: "Bro, you look like you fought a dragon in your sleep."

A pulse of energy ripples through the air.

And Kael collapses.

Kael wakes up… but not in his world.

He stands in a vast, glowing land—half night, half fire.

Floating embers drift like stars.

A massive ancient flame spirit appears before him.

FLAME SPIRIT (deep, echoing):

"At last… the Emberbearer returns."

Kael stumbles back.

KAEL:

"I don’t even know what that means!"

The spirit moves closer.

The fire doesn’t burn him—it responds to him.

FLAME SPIRIT:

"You are the last flame between worlds… and darkness is waking."

Suddenly—

A shadow slashes across the sky.

The flame flickers violently.

Scene 6: The Awakening

Kael screams—

And wakes up back in the real world.

The city power is still out.

But now—

Fire erupts uncontrollably from his hands.

Not huge… but real.

Alive.

He stares in shock.

Fear. Confusion.

Power.

Final Scene: The Watcher

On a distant rooftop…

A girl with glowing icy-blue eyes watches Kael.

Her breath forms frost in the air.

ICE GIRL (softly):

"So… it’s true."

She turns away.

ICE GIRL:

"The Emberbearer has awakened."

Ending Shot

Kael looks at his burning hands.

The flames reflect in his eyes.

KAEL (whispers):

"What… am I?"
