Nyra’s breath came in sharp bursts as she ran, the sound of growling echoing behind her. A horde of zombies chased her, their hollow eyes locked onto her back. Her heart pounded—but instead of fear, a strange excitement flickered within her.

With a swift motion, she opened her space and pulled out a gleaming sword. A smile curved her lips.
“Finally… some fun.”

She turned, charging straight into the horde.
Steel flashed. Blood splattered.
One by one, the zombies fell.

When the last one dropped, Nyra wiped her blade and walked into a nearby supermarket. Calmly, she gathered food—biscuits, cookies, anything useful.

“For them…” she murmured softly.
After reaching their hideout, she smiled and handed over the food. “Look, I got your favorites.”
But in the next second—
Arms wrapped around her.

Warm.
Familiar.
Then—
A sharp pain.
Nyra’s eyes widened as a knife sank into her chest.

“The knife was still in her chest when he laughed.
‘I could never love a girl like you.’
And her best friend? She was in his arms… enjoying it.”
“…You foolish girl,” her bestfriend whispered coldly. “Did you really think he loved you?”
Her best friend stepped forward, smirking. “He loves me, not you.”
The world blurred.
Shock. Pain. Betrayal.

Nyra staggered, her hands trembling as blood stained her fingers.
Tears didn’t fall.
Only silence.
In that moment—

Something inside her broke.
And she made a vow.

Nyra kept falling—deeper, deeper into endless blackness. It felt like her body had no weight, like she was being swallowed by a void that had no end. Cold silence wrapped around her, pressing against her chest.

Then—
A voice echoed.
Cold. Sharp. Evil Female.
“Just give me a divorce…”

Nyra’s eyes snapped open.
She gasped, lungs filling as if she had been drowning moments ago.

Her fingers felt heavy. Rough.
She looked down.
A whip.
Her grip loosened slightly as confusion rushed in.
In front of her stood a man—a beast man.

Golden-blonde hair shimmered under the dim light, soft yet striking. His face was breathtaking, almost unreal in its beauty. But his expression—
Fear.
Not anger. Not hatred.
Fear.

Nyra frowned, her gaze slowly drifting downward.
And then—
She froze.
His waist… his back…
Covered in wounds.

Some fresh, blood still trickling down his skin. Others old, dark scars that spoke of repeated pain.
Her breath hitched.
The whip slipped from her hand and fell to the floor with a dull thud.

“I…” her voice trembled. “What is happening?”
Her mind spun.
This body… these hands…
They didn’t feel like hers.
Fragments of something unfamiliar flickered in her head—anger, cruelty, commands that didn’t belong to her.

The beast man flinched as she moved, his body instinctively shrinking back, as if expecting another strike.

“I didn’t…” she whispered, shaking her head. “I wouldn’t…”
But the marks on his body said otherwise.
A chill ran down her spine.

Nyra staggered back, her gaze darting around the room. Nothing felt familiar—yet everything felt wrong. The air was heavy, thick with fear and something darker she couldn’t name.

Her eyes flicked to the wounded beast man again—his trembling form, the blood still dripping down his back.
“I didn’t do this…” she whispered, more to herself than anyone else.
Aeron ( Third hb) hawk
Suddenly—
The door slammed open.
A strong presence rushed in.
Another beast man stepped inside, his aura sharp and dangerous. Silver hair fell over his forehead, shining even in the dim light. His face was well-defined, striking, but twisted with rage.

His eyes locked onto Nyra.
Fury exploded.
“How dare you!” he snapped, voice filled with killing intent. “How dare you touch him again?!”

“I’m going to kill you,” he growled, stepping forward. “You evil, ugly female… how dare you touch Lior?!”

Lior.
So that was his name.

Nyra instinctively took a step back, her heart racing. “Wait—I didn’t—”
Aeron ( Third hb) hawk
Before she could finish, the silver-haired man lunged forward, grabbing her collar and shoving her hard against the wall.

Pain shot through her back.
Aeron ( Third hb) hawk
His grip tightened.
“Don’t you dare lie,” he hissed, eyes blazing. “I saw the whip in your hand.”

Nyra’s mind spun.
She had no memories of this place, this body… these people.
But the hatred in his eyes—
It was real.
And it was meant for her.
